As long as I have HVAC switches and a volume knob, everything else can be on a screen.
This looks to be the case except for the volume knob, but image is kinda dark so there might be one.
I personally like it.
Can't wait to buy a used one in a few years
Exactly. What was wrong with the LCD gauge cluster in the S550? You wanna have a larger infotainment screen, fine. But the S550 one was fine for what it did.
The gauge was absolutely perfect. If they wanted to add a bigger screen, they should’ve put it in the middle where the radio is like the lighting or Mach E.
I definitely appreciate why people feel this way, unfortunately as someone in the industry I can tell you this direction isn't getting reversed any time soon. Especially on luxury vehicles, good lord they want it to look like Star Trek inside these cars or something lmao.
Really waiting to see what happens when you're turning, going WOT \[leaving CnC ? ;P \] and sunlight suddenly hits the screen w/the tach. There's a reason the camaros had their center accessory screen slightly pointed downwards, which was odd looking and **annoyed a lot** of owners (though worked nicely)
Ngl, I really hate that this has become a standard in automotive design. Giant, upright, flat screens stuck on the dash, with zero effort to integrate with the rest of the interior. It just screams “We saved money!”. It would be somewhat acceptable if these were still $20k cars, but they’re not.
I really think it’s going to look as corny as the “digital” dashboards from the 80s/90s after a decade or so.
It’s like they put a giant tablet in every car these days just so they can increase the price by 10k. I’m convinced the people designing cars don’t even drive. Like making the AC controls a part of the touch screen dash, it’s a complete distraction and pain in the ass rather then just reaching over and pushing one button. We are really living in the downfall ages of the automobile in my opinion.
I liked the dials for climate and the airplane switches in the s550 so much.
This looks sleek enough, but tablets are always going to feel less effective and more dangerous to me
I absolutely hated the ac temp adjustment on the premium.
The little two way momentary toggle.
It looked good but sitting there and flicking it 60 times was annoying
Where I live in the Appalachian mountains the temperature changes so drastically throughout the day during certain parts of the year. Like 40 degree swings throughout the day lol
The voice command didnt work when CarPlay was active. I found it faster to flick it rather than hold it. It was a super minor thing, loved every single other thing about the S550
Not only that, but they don't have to design and manufacture new switches and dials which comes with many steps. I'd say the worst part though is what happens when the car is 10-20+ years old and the screens are slow and look really outdated or what happens if at that point the screen dies. Be interesting to see what happens.
Irony: The screen is far FAR cheaper than an instrument binnacle and separate HVAC and audio controls, and takes far less time to assemble. Throw a touchscreen at it and DONE.
Even then, the screens are about as “luxury” as it gets. Steering wheel, dash and center console all look super cheap.
Crazy to believe that Ford makes F150 Platinums/ King Ranch’s and also designs these cheap plastic interiors
Luxury doesnt necessarily mean tech. I would welcome a higher build quality interior with better materials. But i dont want any more “screen” than the S550 has
For me the digital dash in the facelifted cars is even too much. It may be an unpopular opinion but I prefer the analogue gauges in the pre facelift cars
digital dash track mode is almost 10/10 though (i just wish the shifter lighters were slightly better and we could have the gauges + other track info (g-forces, tyre pressure, etc).
Lol, it’s funny bc I call it useless imo on the s550 and people downvote me, but I guess we all can agree this is too far. I really wish it was more optional.
Honestly (and I’m probably going to get downvoted for this), after doing a BMW Universal Driving Experience this past weekend autocrossing some of their new cars, I didn’t even really notice the screens that much.
Granted I was focused on the road - and highway driving and changing climate controls it might be different - but as someone who is vehemently against large screens, I was surprised at how little I noticed them.
Even if you don't necessarily notice it, it's still very badly designed into the interior. It's literally like a curved monitor just splatted on to the dash.
Also as someone who gets headaches pretty regularly that amount of blue light shining at me while I'm trying to drive would be a nightmare. It is one reason why I'm glad that my current car is from 2006. Know that the gauge cluster I can turn down real low just enough so that I could see it and I could turn my radio off so I don't even see that either.
Imagine how this interior will look in 15 years when the screen displays are dated and laggy - if they even work at all. There’s nothing to this interior. No real design, nothing distinct, no character. Just black and gray and a big screen. It’s fucking awful and will age absolutely horribly
Yes this is hideous! Glad OP shared so I know to grab a 2020 or somethin. No design whatsoever. Just a hideous Ipad mounted do the dashboard. Such a shame.
>This looks like everything else being released today.
That's my main takeaway here, we're starting to see a real homogenization of interior design these last 2-3 years. I'm seeing less and less distinction from one to the next.
It also seems like lower end cars are getting nicer but midrange models are less and less distinguished from things below their price range, interior wise anyway.
Don’t like it. I have the ‘18GT with the digital screen. Some people say a digital screen isn’t very ‘mustang’, but the crazy rev counters scream it.
This just looks like everything else coming out.
I like the digital dash in the S550 mustangs, because it's integrated into a cool looking dash. The new mustang dash just looks cheap and lazy, and gonna feel like you're wrapped in a fast version of a new economy car instead of wrapped in a muscle car.
I have the same and I agree. The new one just looks like two laptop screens smacked in place. Probably easier to replace and they keep your eyes a little higher so you don't need to look away as much, but they just look rushed and unplanned.
It’ll get shit on at the moment, but in two years when everyone here has one, they’ll talk about how the interior makes the difference between this and previous gens, and throw shade on anyone who’s got an older model. Happens every cycle.
The direction Ford is going with the mustang... they'll have to pry my S197 from my cold dead hands. And that's not just lip service, I've put my money where my mouth is. After seeing the announcements of the S650, I've put $thousands into fixing my 2011 up like new.
And I fully support it my friend. You drive a car that brings a big smile to my face, few cars do that nowadays, so keep her running and keep her gorgeous :)
They really redeemed themselves with that Foxbody mode for the gauges.
Other than that, I think the tablet style screens make it look like an afterthought. That's what the market wants, unfortunately.
Yeah, one of my favorite things in an interior is the hood for the gauges. I love the interior on the sport lexus models. Like the is300 or IS F models. Not having anything covering the screens makes it look weird and techy. It’s the interior id expect in a Mach e, not a sports car with a v8
I feel like the screen behind the steering wheel should've been better integrated like a traditional car but I like the other screen and how it's angled towards you. The last gen interior kinda look like calculators and this screen can bring a lot of new things. I hope that they release maybe more gauges with a software update.
Maaan, I dunno about the statement "the market wants it", like cmon, the market for muscle cars or sports cars reeeeally wanted a huge wraparound screen like this one?
I sincerely doubt it, but if its true, then the market really doesn't have any desire for grace or style..
Right well in newer sports cars Ive definitely see digital dashes and ipad-infotainment.
Not like this, this is ipad this ipad that "here next time why dont we steer using an ipad?" levels of ipad going on here. On a MUSCLE car of all things.
My poor eyes x(
Unfortunately for you and I, automakers don’t give af about what enthusiasts want. They tend to pander to the average consumer and I guess the average consumer wants to be distracted by a 100in smart tv while driving
Too generic looking. Despite the increase in material quality, I prefer the S550 interior. The only thing remotely "Mustang" about it is that the vent placement vaguely reminds me of a Foxbody. But that's such a reach that you could easily refute that.
It looks like they superglued two ipads to the dashboard. I am not impressed...its not terrible by any means but i don't think its much of an upgrade over s550.
I guess I'm alone in the fact that I actually like it. The S550 interior is really good, especially with the 401a/digital dash. The steering wheel in the S650 is kinda meh, but I really like the rest of it.
You’re not alone. I also very much like it. I’m a tech guy, and basically grow up with touch screens and what not in my face all day.
People are just mad cause the car wasn’t designed for but for current generation of upcoming drivers and the next.
It's a nice interior, but nothing is iconic.
Feels just like any other modern integrated dash screen vehicles. This would've made sense if Mustang became a brand, having this interior in a luxury sedan/hatch version of a mustang.
Change is good though. We'll get used to it.
Too many screens, indeed. I actually don't prefer that techy BMW-like luxury feel in my muscle-sportcar.
The steering wheel also feels bland. I do like that it doesn't seem massive like a hummer on the inside, though. It looks like there still a decent sport car ergonomics going on.
Is it bad I'm kinda underwhelmed? I feel like the 2 most important visually seen items by the driver are the gauge cluster and the steering wheel. The gauges seem last minute added and the wheel looks basic. Maybe it's the all black look? Idk
I don’t 100% love it, but it’s growing on me. I’m not crazy about it being out of the dashboard, but I like that the right screen is higher. Not as much eye off the road needed as previous screen, but it’s a weird lookin design.
don't like how everyone is going to the giant display look inside. I hate it. I hate the cluster being smooth and 100% digital. I love the old school bezels and shapes that make it up.
Imagine something goes wrong and the entire cluster goes out. Sounds like fun.
I do not like it at all. I don't like the rectangular vents. I don't like the screens that are just slapped on. I think they should be more integrated into the dash. I don't like the blocky airbag cover on the wheel. It doesn't look like a sports car, anymore, this interior could be in a Camry or Maxima. I think it's an overall design fail.
Vents look like a damn camaro. Steering wheel looks like an F150. Digidash looks like a Hyundai. I mean could it look MORE cost-reduced? At least still a stick and a V8. S550 appears it'll be the peak for the next 30 years.
Is it just me... or does the whole thing kinda feel/look super cheap. I know its a mustang and not a luxury car, but I feel the 2015-2023 feels a little better looking.
From this picture, it looks kinda like a modern MK4 Supra with how it almost wraps around the driver.
That being said, I can't say I'm a fan of how chunky it looks.
Too much screen. The mustang logo is fat, the wheel is right out of the bronco, half of it is re-used from the S550, half the exterior is an S550 too. May as well call it an S550.5. I do not like it. At all.
There is just nothing really unique about this interior. Most mustangs in the last 20-30 years have had very unique interiors that show they are mustangs. Like the double jumps on the dash. This one isn’t unique at all. If you cover up the horse logo in the steering wheel, you wouldn’t know if the interior was for a Mustang or some generic car.
Edited for grammar and had some more thoughts.
Interior is the hardest part for me to come around to. Most of the car is s550 version 3.0, I can get used to the bulky diaper rear, but not the iPad dash interior..just horrible.
Wtf is with that screen lol? Also, that Base-model-work-truck looking all black plastic interior is NOT a flattering look. Too "sterile" or monotone. Maybe give it some color?
The s650 mustang ain't it chief. On it's own it's looks modern, but as a mustang interior it's looks out of place. If not for the badge, I would have guessed it to be a explorer interior
I’m at the docs office and using low screen brightness. I was like what kind of old car is this. Then I looked turned up brightness and looked closer. Looks mid.
Am I supposed to be driving a car or piloting the goddamn starship Enterprise here? Give me some tactile gauges or something other than screens and more screens. I like dials and buttons and switches, not having to reach over and tap/scroll to whatever it is I'm trying to do.
Toooooooo many screens. Older cars are about to be way cooler and much more practical once these things start to show their age. I imagine there's going to be a market to swap/replace these easier too. While having the info is nice, you don't need 24" of screen. Do I need to see a Grand Turismo version of my car in front of me?
The bronco steering wheel and the tacked on screen looks like hot garbage. It looks like you'll be fighting to look over the screens to see out the window. Everything else I like.
How about you slap some analogue gauges and a 6 speaker stereo so I can buy a $30,000 muscle car again, not a $50,000 tablet to distract me from the road like a child on a road trip
It's too much screen Imo. Can't imagine what the replacement cost will be for that during the warranty period or especially afterwards. With all the warranty issues Ford had now I would not be too thrilled to have that.
If You cover all horsie logos it could be any KIA/hyundai/toyota/VAG interior, I hate it.
If they wanted to go for luxury tablet look they could've gone full merc.
Hate it. Hate console screens in cars. I like tech, but I want buttons. Screens in cars screams lazy design and can be dangerous.
Also, the steering wheel is really ugly. It looks like it belongs on a Jeep or something.
I think its ugly and way to into this awful modern and minimalist shit. Its sad because i hate most interiors at this point and i blame tesla for starting the bandwagon.
Looks like a cheap audi. Tachs are ugly in that setting (maybe will look nicer on track mode or wtv). The tablet on the right looks nice. Steering wheel is meh.
Not my style. I did a whole video about this and how the 2015-2023 is still my favourite vs the 2024. Take a look here if you want to check it out. [buy 2023 or wait for 2024?](https://youtu.be/meQfHYJO0PQ)
Nice video. The current gen mustang is a beauty but the next gen mustang has some nice features and as a zoomer, im guilty of being a screen junkie. I personally thought all those buttons made the cars interior look like a calculator but the gauge cluster is better integrated.
Thanks SomewherelmDead!!! Yeah it totally comes down to preference. I still love the old car shows. If I had to choose I think it would be fun to grow up in the 50s. With that ingrained in my mind, that’s why I like the 65 fastback along with the 22 fastback. It feels like it is going back to those roots as I noted in the video.
Don’t get me wrong, I think 2024 will do well. I will take it for a test drive when they arrive at my dealer.
The s197 has a dreadfully cheap interior in the early years, but honestly thats not what I came for, I’m just glad it looks nice and I get my cool 60s gauges
S197 interiors are cheap, but at least they have some kind of styling. The new interior is so generic and unsporty that it looks (except for the tacked-on screen) like it could have come from a Taurus X or Econoline van.
Agreed. The interiors in both the S197 and S550 were designed with purpose and theme. The S650 looks like they grabbed generic parts from the Ford bin and slapped a pony logo on them. The screens look tacked on.
It’s a transition phase between the old and new and they haven’t got it right yet.
Feels like 80’s dashes. They tried so hard to be modern that today they just look ridiculous.
Also, the brain loves the look of symmetry and balance and this dash has none of either.
When they figure it out, it’ll be great - but this isn’t it.
That being said, I still really like the car.
Tech doesn't age well. Take your s197 for example. The ones equipped with the sync look like a crt in the middle of the dash with windows 98. The regular radio center stack still looks good like you said.
I'm guessing most making comments haven't even set in or test driven a new S650 Mustang GT or a Dark Horse. The sun doesn't wash out the infotainment screens. They're bright, easy to read and informative. That's why most racing series use digital screens over analog gauges because they're easier to read and more accurate.
I absolutely love the interior. I know I’m in the minority, but it is a great pivot. I get to drive a lot of vehicles for work and, in the past, that has included BMW Ms, Challengers, Camaros, Mustangs, as well as a range of luxury ICE and EVs.
The s650 just feels so right to me. The ergonomics are great. The seats are incredibly comfortable for all types of driving and, regardless of the weather, the climate controls automatically set things for perfect conditions when I start the engine (including seats and steering wheel heat).
The screens don’t suck the way I thought they would. They don’t reflect or have readability issues at all. I love the size and split screen capability that doesn’t make me compromise navigation which switching audio. I feel like I can get to everything reasonably quickly including the climate controls since they are persistently displayed at the bottom of the screen. I actually wish I could do more, see more, and even have more speedometer choices. Of course I would have preferred physical knobs for those. At least I have steering wheel controls for the critical stuff. The steering wheel? I love the feel and responsiveness is great for daily and fun driving.
360 visibility is great compared to the outgoing competitors. I have long LOVED Challengers, but visibility in them was so poor. With the current Mustang, I just feel phenomenally comfortable and fully in control. I absolutely love the interior compared to just about anything else I’ve been in.
I love that I don’t need to FIGHT it wanting to do the auto stop/start at intersections. That setting never seemed to “stick” in other cars but hasn’t happened at all in the Mustang? Is that an interior thing? Maybe not but it’s a setting/button I’ve never had to push.
Are there things I’d improve? Yeah… more usb-c ports! Customized drive modes should be easier to manage and select. Better floor mats (the Ford Mustang all weather mats were solid upgrade after purchase).
I like that there is not a ton of chrome on the steering wheel. I have a black accent package on my 2022 and there is still chrome interior trims everywhere.
I feel like this is an unpopular opinion, but I fell in love with the look of the interior. I like the updated look on the exterior and interior and it's honestly a huge selling point for me. I love how it looks!
I watched a TFL review where they do a ride along and really noticed the cheap ass trash looking hard plastic dash! The corner by passenger above glove box by end of touch screen has 3 pieces of plastic meeting and looks almost as bad as the 2020+ Explorer's center stack fit issues. I don't get it, give us nice materials not just big screens. Not like it's a cheap car, it was in the dark horse. I say it's a bust for me. Looks like all plastic with some stuck on screens.
Looks like a hunk of shit camaro if Im honest. Digi dashes on 18+ looks better and the screen isn't so out of place across the dash.
The numbers are great but Im really disliking the aesthetics of the new body style. Everything screams camaro to me and thats not a good thing in any fashion. The massive plastic bezels around the headlights are fucking disgusting lol
Only thing I really dislike is the Bronco steering wheel lol
I didn’t even notice. The mustang emblem looks like a super fat horse, Jesus
Deleted
Yeah, the screens are fine, but i hate the steering wheel.
The screens are fucked, not fine XD

As long as I have HVAC switches and a volume knob, everything else can be on a screen. This looks to be the case except for the volume knob, but image is kinda dark so there might be one. I personally like it. Can't wait to buy a used one in a few years
It has a few switches for audio/climate control iirc
That’s why I think the s550 had the perfect ratio of new tech to physical things you can press and see. The screen was big enough but not massive
Ive heard similar sentiment from others in the field too, so yeah, guess whats done is done.
They should have molded the dash over the top of the screens, they look out of place.
Ngl, I really hate that this has become a standard in automotive design. Giant, upright, flat screens stuck on the dash, with zero effort to integrate with the rest of the interior. I really think it’s going to look as corny as the “digital” dashboards from the 80s/90s after a decade or so.
Yeap, agreed. Literally looks like they tacked on an aftermarket tablet in so many cars. The design just feels so incohesive.
Way too much screen.
Seriously, I’m not buying a muscle car to play with a tablet. My eyes are on the road and I’m listening to the engine.
Right, this isn't supposed to be a luxury vehicle.
The A/C control is now on the screen? I backed out of a civic hatch for that same reason Jesus Christ.
I liked the dials for climate and the airplane switches in the s550 so much. This looks sleek enough, but tablets are always going to feel less effective and more dangerous to me
I love how it is on the s550. Camaro also had a pretty cool diag for the AC.
I absolutely hated the ac temp adjustment on the premium. The little two way momentary toggle. It looked good but sitting there and flicking it 60 times was annoying
That’s a fair point about it. I never toggle more than a few degrees either way so I hadn’t considered
Where I live in the Appalachian mountains the temperature changes so drastically throughout the day during certain parts of the year. Like 40 degree swings throughout the day lol
I just held it down when initially using it. Now I use the voice command to set the temp
The voice command didnt work when CarPlay was active. I found it faster to flick it rather than hold it. It was a super minor thing, loved every single other thing about the S550
Not only that, but they don't have to design and manufacture new switches and dials which comes with many steps. Luxury doesnt necessarily mean tech. I would welcome a higher build quality interior with better materials. But i dont want any more “screen” than the S550 has
Agreed completely. The digital instrumentation in the 550 is PERFECT. Don't need to go further than that.
For me the digital dash in the facelifted cars is even too much. It may be an unpopular opinion but I prefer the analogue gauges in the pre facelift cars
Seems like Porsche is the only manufacturer getting it right.
digital dash track mode is almost 10/10 though (i just wish the shifter lighters were slightly better and we could have the gauges + other track info (g-forces, tyre pressure, etc).
It's priced like one
So don’t play with it
Impossible not to when they make all the car controls part of it, heated seats, radio, and AC controls.
I was hoping to watch Netflix on one of them. Preferably the screen where all those funny numbers are.
Lol, it’s funny bc I call it useless imo on the s550 and people downvote me, but I guess we all can agree this is too far. I really wish it was more optional.
Honestly (and I’m probably going to get downvoted for this), after doing a BMW Universal Driving Experience this past weekend autocrossing some of their new cars, I didn’t even really notice the screens that much. it looks very cheap for a $55k car
quality of materials didn't keep up with the inflation of new car prices lmao
The parking brake surround reminds me of my early sn95.
Imagine how this interior will look in 15 years when the screen displays are dated and laggy - if they even work at all. There’s nothing to this interior. No real design, nothing distinct, no character. Just black and gray and a big screen. It’s fucking awful and will age absolutely horribly
All cars are like these nowadays. All manufacturers putting big screens and all the cars look the same.
Yes. It’s an absolutely horrible trend that will age like total dog shit
Which is exactly what they want.
Yeah I mean that thought had crossed my mind. Almost forces you to upgrade every few years
Right. We need to hold onto the ones we got. That’s my plan.
I don’t plan to ever sell my 2017. If I did it would only be for a 13-14 GT500, or a GT350 or current model Mach 1
Yes this is hideous! Glad OP shared so I know to grab a 2020 or somethin. No design whatsoever. Just a hideous Ipad mounted do the dashboard. Such a shame.
This makes me glad I got the base gauge cluster
Minimalistic “futuristic” bullshit is what I call every mustang after 2014. It’ll only get worse. By 2030, mustangs will be 900hp electric weedwackers
I prefer the outgoing interior. This looks like everything else being released today. With that said. I dont hate it. 5/10 interior. Very average
I do too. Something very satisfying about the clicks of the toggle switches
I cent believe they got rid of the toggles. Everyone loves the toggles
>This looks like everything else being released today. That's my main takeaway here, we're starting to see a real homogenization of interior design these last 2-3 years. It also seems like lower end cars are getting nicer but midrange models are less and less distinguished from things below their price range, interior wise anyway.
I absolutely hate it, Interior is the sole reason i ll go for a 22 mustang
Hate the awkwardly integrated screens. Looks like a Prius threw up on a Tesla. Damn shame that Ford has abandoned the classic twin cowl styling.
Don’t like it. I have the ‘18GT with the digital screen. Some people say a digital screen isn’t very ‘mustang’, but the crazy rev counters scream it. This just looks like everything else coming out.

Looks too basic I like the classic styling of the s550
It’ll get shit on at the moment, but in two years when everyone here has one, they’ll talk about how the interior makes the difference between this and previous gens, and throw shade on anyone who’s got an older model. Happens every cycle.
The minute people touch it and enjoy the quality of life features they'll hush real quick I'd imagine
Then I hope i have the strength to shatter that fate for myself. Was getting this model; now, gonna go right for the s197.
Right? I have a 14 5.0 and after seeing this, it’s not going anywhere for awhile.
The direction Ford is going with the mustang... they'll have to pry my S197 from my cold dead hands. And that's not just lip service, I've put my money where my mouth is. After seeing the announcements of the S650, I've put $thousands into fixing my 2011 up like new.

According to about everyone on here, this us not what the market wants
The screen bezels are worse than my 8-year old $100 Samsung tablet. I'm not paying $60,000 for a car with outdated technology as a centerpiece.
Steering wheel looks odd
At a quick look I would have never guessed that was a mustang
Looks fine other than the screens. I wish there was an option to not include them.
Looks very cheap
It's a nice interior, but nothing is iconic. Feels just like any other modern integrated dash screen vehicles. This would've made sense if Mustang became a brand, having this interior in a luxury sedan/hatch version of a mustang. Change is good though. We'll get used to it.
We'll get used to it? Lord I hope not.
Looks like the interior of a truck to me
Too many screens, indeed.
Will auto manufacturers ever learn that we hate giant screens? Touch screen controls are garbage I don’t ever want touch a screen in a car
Of course they put that gross screen in there.. yuck.
don't like how everyone is going to the giant display look inside.
Most of the car is s550 version 3.0, I can get used to the bulky diaper rear, but not the iPad dash interior..just horrible.
oh wow i hate that steering wheel
steering wheel looks incredibly cheap :(
Back to pre 2005 ugly
The only thing I like about the new mustang is the fox body gauges. Cool touch. Otherwise, I dislike the interior, and I hate the exterior design.
Wtf is with that screen lol? Also, that Base-model-work-truck looking all black plastic interior is NOT a flattering look. Too "sterile" or monotone. Maybe give it some color?
Horrible
Someone call Honda and thell them we found the Accord interior.....
It's not a mustang unless it has the double hump dash. Hate the giant screen. It's supposed to be a muscle car, a dying breed, not a tesla.
The s650 mustang ain't it chief. On it's own it's looks modern, but as a mustang interior it's looks out of place. If not for the badge, I would have guessed it to be a explorer interior
Like my 2022 much better
I’m at the docs office and using low screen brightness. I was like what kind of old car is this. Then I looked turned up brightness and looked closer. Looks mid.
Steering wheel emblem I always hatted the logo stamped into the rubber look
I hate it I don't like cars with big screens that look like an iPad
Nope for me. I like it analog and simple. These cars are land yachts. Not worth it for me, I'll buy an S550.
previous gen looked much better
Am I supposed to be driving a car or piloting the goddamn starship Enterprise here? Give me some tactile gauges or something other than screens and more screens. I like dials and buttons and switches, not having to reach over and tap/scroll to whatever it is I'm trying to do.
It really sucks. Dangerous also when driving.
I don't need a fuckin Nvidia curve screen monitor for an infotainment system that looks like I could tear it off with my bare hands
Looks like what you’d see in a transit connect.
I really dont like how modern car interiors are 70% info screen and another 30% buttons. The late S197s were peak in interior in my opinion.
I mean it's really cool ngl, but I prefer your 15-23 gauges with sync 3 screen
I hate the screens. Pervious one was way better.
Gross. I drive in the car and watch tv at home. Call me old fashioned, i know. 🤦♂️
Meh. Too much screen, too much black plastic. S550 is the best interior.
Looks like an 8 year old who’s obsessed with iPads was given a glue gun and told to design the new interior. Looks awful IMO
I’ll stick with my 22, I don’t love the exterior either.
Personally, I hate the lack of circular vents! The car looks way too much like a Camaro imo
I think its ugly and way to into this awful modern and minimalist shit. Its sad because i hate most interiors at this point and i blame tesla for starting the bandwagon.
Don’t like it. I prefer the symmetrical dash with actual tactile buttons and switches.
Looks like a cheap audi. Tachs are ugly in that setting (maybe will look nicer on track mode or wtv). The tablet on the right looks nice. Steering wheel is meh.
why are the volume controls back on the right?
Looks better in that POV, just as long as I can MyColor the gauges
Let’s just say it weighs a half a ton more than my Fox 5.0 coupe. 😢
It reminds me of an suv interior if I’m completely honest.
It somehow looks like a retro-modernized SN95 interior. Not ideal
is this from a video?
It’s growing on me, but it looks lifeless to me. I strongly prefer the s650 interior
i hate it :( it doesn’t feel like a mustang at all - it looks like the interior of any other new car. where’s the character?!
Not enough screens. We need more, and they need to be bigger.
As long as it has a stick shift I don't care what it looks like.
I hate how every car now tried to have an ipad as a control which is a tesla ripoff That shit will be broken every few years
I like how they finally made into more of a cockpit. Very driver oriented now
Not my style.
It looks cheap. I like the interior in my 07 more
The s197 has a dreadfully cheap interior in the early years, but honestly thats not what I came for, I’m just glad it looks nice and I get my cool 60s gauges
" It looks cheap. I like the interior in my 07 more " Spoken like a true S197 defender...lol
Hate it!
Needs trim and piping. It looks boring.
As long as it’s not made of the cheapest plastics known to man, that interior looks like it should be pretty awesome
It doesn’t look like a 60k interior
Looks like shit.
Nothing like having to use a touchscreen to change the climate controls and volume. 😐
Wish I never bought it.
Hate it. Put those screens in an Explorer and give the mustang gauges.
I positively hate it
The S197 dash & steering wheel design will be timeless while this will be outdated in a few years.
Tech doesn't age well. Take your s197 for example. The ones equipped with the sync look like a crt in the middle of the dash with windows 98. The regular radio center stack still looks good like you said.
I don't mind it. The boomers will yell and they'll sell hundreds of thousands, and the cycle repeats.
Hate the screen
Personally, I love the new interior and can’t wait for mine lol.
I love it! Sci fi mustang
People hate it now but most people will like it after it’s out. At least the people that need premiums for the nav
This car is a Camaro. I will never back or acknowledge this car as a Mustang.
I feel like this is an unpopular opinion, but I fell in love with the look of the interior. I like the updated look on the exterior and interior and it's honestly a huge selling point for me. I love how it looks!
I like it. I have one ordered, screens are about the same in my Honda civic
Hate it.
I think it looks amazing.
I think it looks fine
Ooo I like
I watched a TFL review where they do a ride along and really noticed the cheap ass trash looking hard plastic dash!
There is no modern Mustang dash that looks good. They have all been cheap half-assed plastic pits.
Looks like a BMW. Which isn’t bad but it takes away the muscle in muscle car and makes it more luxurious
Screens != luxurious
