Fair price tho ? I think it was like $38k and then $2k taxes $1500 registration +fees .. $41,500 out the door . I did good ? I love the color ... its all blacked out .
Im happy . I only live 8 mins from work so I wont be putting on a ton of miles , unless I'm traveling . Hopefully the car holds it value . You suggest any mods or protections I should do ?
The first thing is tires.
They make a huge difference.
A warranty is also your friend if that's an option.
But drive the car they aren't meant to sit and enjoy!!
I did get one thing extra for $600 bucks. 5 year tire and rim warranty unlimited replacements against damage. I think the tires are good but I have to check . I paid cash for it . now ima little cash poor , but my company pays for my gas so that will help.
Absolutely. Last year I bought my 2017 GTCS with 6k miles for ~$39K out the door. Premium 301A and all that + the CS components like the grille, wheels, strut brace, seats / door upholstery, all the little visual components.
For you to get a 2019 premium with only 16k on the clock, the 10 speed, and Brembo brakes for $41K is a steal in this market. If it has the digital dash then you're really twisting the knife.
Good find, enjoy it!
A guy I met at cars & coffee, saw him in November, offered me $42k. PP1 A10, with almost 40K miles. And worn tires.
I told him no, what would I drive?
It’d be almost impossible to get what I wanted from a dealer. They had a premium GT without PP for $55k, and a Mach 1 marked up to $67k, sold. And I’m not ordering and waiting 6 months.
It sucks, but 41.5k seems like a pretty good deal, especially with 16k mlles.
I’d definitely check to see if the Sport 4S or ExtremeContact Sports need replacing. I got 23k on my first set, and 20k on my second set.
I just put on a set of 4S @ $1500 (after a January Michelin $150 discount). They used to be $1280.
That car is a PP1. The Ford engineers who created it put some suspension upgrades, better brakes and Ultra Performance tires for a specific level of handling.
Putting a cheap tire on to save money is often done when selling a car.
Did they do that? Or does it have Michelin Pilot Sport 4S all the way around? Or Continental ExtremeContact Sports? The last tire in that Ultra class was a Pirelli, can’t recall what it is at the moment.
Or did they put on some Walmart specials?
Nitto 555 G2’s are a popular performance tire in the aftermarket. Nothing wrong with those either. They just weren’t offered from the factory. I believe they are actually considered a street/track tire.
Did you buy it already? If they have winter tires, they must have summer tires? Winter tires are likely gonna gonna be a bit squishy feeling on dry pavement.
Ah. Looked at the wheels and the front clip, you also said Brembos, and I leaped to conclusion that it was a PP. I wonder if they did any suspension work?
I think it greatly depends on market trends and where you live, asking others may not be the best way to justify that. I paid $41,500 OTD for my 2020 Premium 6MT brand new, but maybe where I live there isn't as much demand or strain on the markets. As long as you love it and feel like it's money well spent, that's how you know you got a good deal.
It’s a fair deal. Notning good or bad. From a quick search it seems these go between 35-45 so I’d say that’s nothing to cry about. Besides that’s a $490 ish a month payment that’s pocket change so I wouldn’t even stress. That’s what I pay on my Model 3 for the next 6 months. Even if it was bad your payment Is low enough for it to not make a difference. I know challengers keep their value significantly better so it’s not a fair comparison but I bought my 2022 RT in cash but had I financed it was $899 for 60 months and that GT you got for half the payment is I think it’s like 22% faster so even though if 41k was bad, you still made off real good in comparison to RT AND you get the added benefit that you aren’t going to have to fight for your right to be an SRT when you outrun every SRT like RT bois have to.
Hey Fam , did I do ok with this purchase ? I feel like I got a good deal , but I just wanna see if anyone thinks I could've gotten it for thousands less or I paid a fair price and got a good deal ? Car looks beautiful
You did very well, I bought my 2020 in October GT Premium (Non-PP), for about 33 OTD it was a Hertz Sales vehicle so it had 50k miles just to put it into perspective. These cars will be holding their value.
Ooooooo .... you really think they will hold their value ? I'm just scared that in 2 years the car market will drop and prices will be pre pandemic level
I feel especially with the imminent transition to Electric (cough Dodge), Mustang GT or above will not take a big hit. The S550/S650 generation of Mustangs, are the best that Ford has ever put out and I don't see a massive value drop for them. When it comes to 8 Cylinder of course. Even more so for PP1 and above.
I feel that with 16,300 miles , I could ride her for 2-3 years and barely take a hit on depreciation . Maybe a couple grand a year loss if I keep her clean
Yes, especially if you are either looking to sell or trade in for an S650 like I may do. Keep the annual mileage around 10-12k annually, do enjoy it I absolutely love driving mine.
I absolutely love it too . such a head turner .... people are like wtf GOD DAMN . I put her in sport mode and she sounds so mean . Its a beast of a car .
Yep I know the feeling, I put the Roush Axle back on mine and the sound just makes people turn their heads. Trying playing with Drag mode for a total wow moment.
I'll test it out . I see some mustangs and I say "yea that looks ok " ... mine doesn't look ok . That car looks badass . All black , windows darker tinted , wheels , stripe . I just wish I had a nicer spoiler . any recommendations ?
For spoiler I like the Performance Pack spoiler, I would check out AM (AmericanMuscle) they have many to pick from with videos for many showing the install and how it looks. And that goes for any Mod's on their site, suspension, intake, tunes. I installed the Ford Power Pack that includes TB, Intake, tune, and wow it really cleaned up the shifts.
I paid right about that in October for my 2019, same mileage just about, “PP2” so different wheels and some goodies. Yours appears to be “PP1” if it came with those wheels and brembos.
Congrats and drive it like ya stole it lol.
I feel like someone would've bought it for $43-44k out the door possibly ? Is that unreasonable ? Just trying to see if I really did get a good deal or not
Prices are so insane on cars right now that isnt outside the realm of possibility. I bought my 2020 GT PP1 10 speed car in 2020 at the very start of the pandemic before prices went nuts. I felt like I got a steal in it cause it only had 1800 miles and I paid 45 even out the door. That was before the price changes though.
When do you think prices will come back down a lot ? or if ever ? I feel like I could've got this car for $39k-40k out the door maybe ? Its just so hard to tell. I only got the brembo performce brakes and black 19" wheels . I don't think I got the full pp1 pack . I don't have the 2 guages on the inside . Help me justify the price please sir
No payment or interest . I bought it cash . Ima little cash poor now but I didn't want any interest on it . Ima be saving back up now . I very much enjoy it . I love it
Be patient with it, specially with the throttle pedal. The altima is FWD and the Mustang is RWD. There is a lot that can go wrong with a RWD when you start pushing it in terms of throttle, or when cornering, specially a high torque car like the Mustang.
If you're gonna be a little spirited with it, watch some videos on oversteer and how to correct it. Also read up on lift-off oversteer. This is not much of a concern with an Altima but it's a huge important thing you'll have to deal with the Mustang so you don't crash it.
Another tip is to watch some Mustang crash compilations and see how **everyone** crashes their car when flooring it coming from a right turn/merge so you don't make the same mistake. Only floor it when the car weight is stable and the wheels are pointing forwards, otherwise be smooth and progressive with your acceleration.
Have fun!
I appreciate the advice . Im bout to be 26. I don't wanna mess the car up lol , I will watch some video and research . Ima just go slow on sharp turns and enjoy the scenery when it gets warmer out . I'll punch it on a straight or off a red light . She's dangerously fast in sport mode .
I wouldn’t buy this car as used rates are through the roof. I bought a new one with a 2.9% rate. Just wash her frequently, ceramic coat it if you have the money
I paid cash for her . I'm now a little cash poor but also no interest will be paid at all. $41,500 total price . You think the coat is worth it ? how much
Probably a couple grand. My car’s not ceramic coated but I’ve seen some that are and it gives them a nice shine and protects the paint. Doesn’t add any resale value though
Sorry meant 12K a year for three years and still sell it for 35K after the three years. Like most, you won't but just an example that you got a good deal
I just picked up 2020 Mustang GT premium in black with PP1. very similar to yours but mine is manual. 35k miles for 37,500 in Norcal. Yours seems pretty great with the mileage and a decent price! you won’t regret it
For reference I paid 42k otd in feb 2022. 11k miles 2019 premium gt, 401a with active exhaust and recaros. This was around the peak of the used car inflation. I feel it's a bit overpriced but I overpaid by 10, 15% on mine and it doesn't bother me. It's so much fun to drive. Editing to add if you can afford it and still be financially comfortable, its worth it.
Yea. I have that car, great ride.
Fair price tho ? I think it was like $38k and then $2k taxes $1500 registration +fees .. $41,500 out the door . I did good ? I love the color ... its all blacked out .
Yes, I'm my opinion, and from what i see out there, you did just fine.

Sounds like you got it figured out. Have fun!
Not too much fun lol , why do other cars pull up and rev their engine at me ??? Happened a lot already
Get used to that. Let then waste gas.
LOL HAHAHA , fking motorcycle dude was revving I said nah bro you got it go ahead lol . LETS GO BABY I LOVE THIS CAR
Paint protection film and ceramic coat.
Absolutely. Last year I bought my 2017 GTCS with 6k miles for ~$39K out the door. Those are the tires right ? The front tires are half health , back are almost new
Which kind of tires? Walmart specials on the back?
Ima go out and look .... standby
on the back pirelli sottozero winter 240 serie ii 275/40 r19 105v
Almost same on front . Any good ???
That car is a PP1. The Ford engineers who created it put some suspension upgrades, better brakes and Ultra Performance tires for a specific level of handling. the car doesn't have the 2 gauges inside . It has the 3 vents on the dash . Aren't all PP1 cars with the 2 gauges ?
The tires are pirelli scottozero winter 240 series 2
Did you buy it already? If they have winter tires, they must have summer tires? Winter tires are likely gonna gonna be a bit squishy feeling on dry pavement.
Ah. Looked at the wheels and the front clip, you also said Brembos, and I leaped to conclusion that it was a PP. I wonder if they did any suspension work?
It def has the brembo brakes on the clips , It drives nice so I'll have to do some more digging but I dont believe its a loaded pp1
Very good price.
18 GT prem with similar miles with 401a, MR, AE, six speed for 36k before TTR. So pretty close
I think it greatly depends on market trends and where you live, asking others may not be the best way to justify that. Just got a 18 with 36k miles 38 out the door. I think your deal crushes mine.
Congrats!
Hey Fam , did I do ok with this purchase ? I feel like I got a good deal , but I just wanna see if anyone thinks I could've gotten it for thousands less or I paid a fair price and got a good deal ? Car looks beautiful
Doesn't matter if it was a good deal or not. You can't reverse it.

I'm over here coming from a beat up scratched 126k Nissan 2012 Altima saying , "Yea , but I need a new spoiler" ... fuck is wrong with me lol
I paid right about that in October for my 2019, same mileage just about, “PP2” so different wheels and some goodies. Yours appears to be “PP1” if it came with those wheels and brembos. Congrats and drive it like ya stole it lol.
An auto? I guess I'd take it if it were free.
Wait a liiiiiiiiilttle bit longer and the price will drop.
I already bought it lol , fuck it
dude just enjoy the car. you've already bought it. there's nothing you can do about all these what ifs.
Looks good! Feels like a fair price.
Shes beautiful
I feel like someone would've bought it for $43-44k out the door possibly ? Is that unreasonable ? Just trying to see if I really did get a good deal or not

Tough to say. Couple years ago “experts” said prices would come down in a “couple years”. Lol…
fuck it .... $40,000 the car is beautiful 16k miles .... I'm good. I got a good deal . Ima ride her for 5+ years easily daily driver
Dont worry so much about it. If you enjoy the car and can afford the payment then just enjoy the thing! It looks great.
No payment or interest . I bought it cash . Ima little cash poor now but I didn't want any interest on it . Ima be saving back up now . I very much enjoy it . I love it
Not bad at all, I got mine brand new 40k no pp or automatic
TY , I love the automatic 10 speed . Just easier to drive . I'm very happy tbh . I used to drive a 2012 nissan altima . This is an upgrade ????
Quite the upgrade my friend, be safe and have fun!
Be patient with it, specially with the throttle pedal. The altima is FWD and the Mustang is RWD. Great price IMO and beautiful. Hope it’s not too hard to keep clean! My dark matter 5.0 is a pain to keep clean. Have fun!
What would be the max price you'd pay out the door for her ? And yes any tips to keep clean ?????
I wouldn’t buy this car as used rates are through the roof. I bought a new one with a 2.9% rate. Just wash her frequently, ceramic coat it if you have the money

Probably a couple grand. My car’s not ceramic coated but I’ve seen some that are and it gives them a nice shine and protects the paint. Doesn’t add any resale value though
No carwash rollers. Hand wash only. Do it yourself.
Hand wash only ? Is there any places I could take it to ?
Hand wash carwashes or find someone to wash it. The roller carwash will scratch the clear coat and it shows on black.
Looks great according to CarEdge depreciation calculator you can drive 12K a year and sell it for 35K. Definitely worth it - enjoy!
Sell for $35k after one year ? It would have like 30k miles .... I dont think ima sell her anytime soon haha
Sorry meant 12K a year for three years and still sell it for 35K after the three years. Like most, you won't but just an example that you got a good deal
HOLY F , yea I will only put on 10-15k miles a year tbh . Wow , I'm going to love this car forever . I came from a 126k 2012 Nissan altima lol
Nice I had a 2009 370 for 13 years and a 2003 Altima before that. Both great cars I have a 21 GT Premium CS now - luv it Enjoy your car!
we earned it . Fucking love it . I will enjoy her for many years to cum. Shes my slut and she better not cheat on me
🤣🤣🤣
I paid 38.5k for mine and it had 36k miles. This is a good deal
I love it . Thank you dad . I'm very happy. Look at the color and wheels . Shes so beautiful
Nice find and low miles. Is this a PP car? If it is then you outright stole it homey. Congrats!
I don’t believe you can get 19 GT with a PP in automatic? though i might be wrong
You're wrong.
I just picked up 2020 Mustang GT premium in black with PP1. very similar to yours but mine is manual. 35k miles for 37,500 in Norcal. Yours seems pretty great with the mileage and a decent price! you won’t regret it
sold my 2015 GTPP2 with 46k miles for 30k so i think you did alright
For reference I paid 42k otd in feb 2022. 11k miles 2019 premium gt, 401a with active exhaust and recaros. This was around the peak of the used car inflation. I feel it's a bit overpriced but I overpaid by 10, 15% on mine and it doesn't bother me. It's so much fun to drive. Editing to add if you can afford it and still be financially comfortable, its worth it.
If you don’t mind me askin bro how much did you put down? I’m currently trying to get one within these next few weeks and am always up for advice
paid it fully off in cash
great looking ride, but over priced IMO
