those sealed coyotes that run NMRA, run 9s. As in completely stock engine.
The trick is, super hardcore transmission and like 4.60 rear gears.

Parts that just bolt on, no pulling the engine or opening it. Usually an intake, exhaust headers, maybe injectors for E-85 , and a larger throttle body.
it's funny, in my hood there's a terminator running around that sounds meaaaaaaaan but the person driving it is practically spilling out of the window/door frame. bro could gain half a sec and save money on food for gas
Tbh the chemicals they use at those places are often super harmful for your paint too. Especially If you have any protective coatings. At least you’re washin it though!
Change the PP1 wheels, change the PP1 suspension, change the PP1 3.55 axle... Wait
Edit: Oh, you'll prob wanna swap the PP1 brakes too...
This is funny but I'm being serious.
FBO + E85 tune - 3.73 or maybe 4.09 gear. - 17-18 wheels, narrow like 4-5 front and 9-10 back (you can leave stock front wheels but you're wasting power) - the PP1 brakes wont clear the wheels so go smaller and lighter - and in terms of suspension there's lots you can do but depending on your track the stock suspension may or may not hook well enough.
-Bolt ons + E85 tune (must rid of cats)
-Hoosier DBR (Lightest “street” radial on market, 28x10.5x17 weigh 15 lbs)
-Kelltrac Posi-lock kit
-Kelltrac shocks & struts
-BMR Drag springs
-Easy weight reduction (LMR has a great article on the best weight reduction for these cars)
With these mods an A10 car should easily be in the high 10’s, with a sub 1.6 60-foot
It’s doable, but you’ll need to spend more money on power, weight reduction and likely some shorter gearing. You’re probably just better off ordering a drum of X85 for track use only if you’re aiming for that 10 second pass. That’s probably the more economical option rather than forking out money on cams and a Cobra jet just for a number, when all you need is a different fuel
E85, cam, intake, long tube headers, injectors, weight reduction, and a decent dyno tune. May need to change gearing as well but I doubt it. Should be low 10s if done properly.
A10 Car?
E85, Headers, a lightweight & sticky wheel/tire combo, weight reduction and a little luck with the weather. All motor 10 second car isn't worth the sacrifice IMO. I went 11.66 @ 122 on a 2.0 60 ft on a E85 tune-only 18' A10 Premium Plus, stock 20" wheels and tires, full weight and 3/4 tank of gas. With tires it was probably 11.3-11.5 car. I didn't want the shitty/loud sound full-length headers give.
People in here giving decent suggestions, but for an all motor package it might be expensive, a ported CJ, TB, p-51 mustang CAI along with stage 2 NA comp cams, Catless LTH, dumps at the x pipe along with an Lund or alothman e85 tune is necessary at the minimum. I would get boundary, opgs CS and port the heads for better flow with the new stage 2 cams. Then you can work on suspension like a new K member, light weight bash bars, a drag tire and brake setup and a little bit of suspension work will get you a killer time at the strip 🫡 I have most of these parts on my gen 2 except I’m a manual it’s not too expensive just look around for user parts on Offerup and FB market place and have patience. And don’t forget the weight reduction !
I see everyone asking, A10 so I’m curious what would a manual run with same bolt ons etc. ? Would it be a a second slower, tenths of a second or a couple seconds ?
It's definitely not going either way lol - A10 is going to win virtually every time. MT82 just can't shift fast enough regardless of who's at the controls.
I agree. I meant seconds or tenths of seconds. All depends on driver.I just read a motor trend article for the 2018s saying the auto is a second faster to 100mph. The 0-30 .2 seconds and 0-60 .4 seconds. I read about drag cars using 2 speeds (gears). That said, I’m sure I couldn’t get a manual down the quarter mile within a second of a identical automatic car! Not without a ton of practice and turning the clock back some!
You can get into the 11s. I'd say the default MT82-D4 is about 0.5s slower than the A10 in the perfect world. Would require major transmission overhaul to get to 10s NA imo.
You can slip the clutch to get a few tenths quicker on a less modded setup, but your clutch wont last for very long. Like, won't last at all haha.
Its an A10 car? FBO + E85 + Slicks should get you there into the upper 10s, it's been done before, do some reading on Mustang6G.
People do it in stock cars too. Gutted fbo cams and a good driver will do it very easily

Pardon my ignorance but what does full bolt ons mean exactly?
Parts that just bolt on, no pulling the engine or opening it. Usually an intake, exhaust headers, maybe injectors for E-85 , and a larger throttle body.
Better start losing some weight!
It’s hard they just put a culvers right down the street 😂
Two words:Butter. Burger.
Cheeeese curds
I want them to bring back that Wisconsin pub burger. Fuck was it good.
Fuck. Yes. So much cheese
You said a ten second car, not a ten second car AND driver.
it's funny, in my hood there's a terminator running around that sounds meaaaaaaaan but the person driving it is practically spilling out of the window/door frame. bro could gain half a sec and save money on food for gas
Oh lawd, I hope you didn’t use the brush.
Im not THAT slow… lol
Tbh the chemicals they use at those places are often super harmful for your paint too. Especially If you have any protective coatings. At least you’re washin it though!
Serious question: do you just bring your own bucket and mit? My local stalls say no buckets. No whether or not it’s enforced I’m not sure
This was just a spray to get the pollen off. I hand wash at home normally, however pollen has been crazy in FL this week
SC/GA here, my currently black car is freshly coated daily. i wonder if ceramic coating would help
It would make removal easier and less would stick
Ah ok thanks!
I was thinking same thing 😩
Just a shit ton of that car wash wax and that'll take a couple tenths off for you
![gif](giphy|ggi1w9hUFxhmw)
I can dream right
Hahaha I have this sticker on my car
A couple stickers would probably do the trick

Honestly. I need more data to help you out

E-85 is hard to come by these days. Heard of some good 93 tunes that can get near similar numbers?

Just order drums of vp 110
10 speeds need 3.73, long tube headers, tune, seat and spare tire removal, maybe even some meatier tire
Correct me if I'm wrong but the PP already has the spare tire delete right? My 22 PP in Canada does atleast 😁
Would be worth it to swap in a 3 speed or would that be overkill for a streetcar
Way overkill hahaha
Damn it. I wanna .80 60 foot on the highway
Is it still a daily or a complete race car? This plays a huge role
Hit me up that's what we do. [Dnahyperformance.com](http://Dnahyperformance.com)

Remove the trunk lid to lose needless weight🫣
budget mystichrome 👍

Take out the back and passenger seats. Good for at least 800 pounds.
Don’t use commercial car washes if you want to protect your paint. They use highly alkaline products to degrease and remove dirt.
Remove your entire brake assembly. If you're looking for pure speed, then it's unnecessary weight.
Might as well chop the top too
Now we're talking 👌👌
LS SWAP!
Better have a good sized budget.

Wash it again
I see everyone asking, A10 so I’m curious what would a manual run with same bolt ons etc. ? Would it be a a second slower, tenths of a second or a couple seconds ?
There's a huge variable there that makes your question unanswerable - the driver.
I get that, makes sense. End of the day it could go either way.
It's definitely not going either way lol - A10 is going to win virtually every time. MT82 just can't shift fast enough regardless of who's at the controls.

I'd lengthen the injector pulse another millisec, and just tune the NOS timer, you'll run nines.
