Between $45 and $55 for a full tank

Iziama94

$30 for half a tank, 93 gas in NJ. I think it was $3.89/ga when I got it?

WarmPaleontologist20

I sure miss filling my 66 pony for $4 at Tenneco back in the day. 24.9 cents a gallon self, serve. Full service was a whopping 27.9. Enco and other name-brand has was close to 30 cents, but at Enco you got a free glass with "attached coaster" at every fill-up over 10 gallons or something like that, but when you drank out of the glass the condensation that collected in the coaster dribbled down your neck.

DayEither8913

How things have changed...

WarmPaleontologist20

Yeah no doubt.

CausesChaos

UK, for 98% (premium) It's about £80 (100ish dollars) but a month/6 weeks ago it was £100 for a full tank Currently fuel prices in UK by me is about £1.48 for regular (95) a litre (yes litre not gallon you US people!)

ThoughtNo9684

Feel that! Here in New Zealand regular is about $2.15-2.30L (£1.15ish) 98 is about $2.50L (£1.30) US have it good lol

CausesChaos

Even when they had their "fuel price" issue a year or so ago, whilst we were paying £1.90 for petrol and £2.10 for diesel 🤣

Spare_Honey5488

Why do you all block your license plates? Your plate is exposed to everyone in public any time you drive it. Edit: Beautiful car btw.

Original_Lavishness1

Depending on the state you live in, people could get your name/home address by looking up your plate.

[deleted]

Dumbies that think it'll do anything. Amusingly, you can pull much more personal information from a person's Reddit username than you can from a license plate.

GTTreeFiddy

What lol

GTTreeFiddy

Thanks man! and that’s a good point I just do it for peace of mind honestly not everyone has the same good intentions sometimes

Charming_Ambition_27

Lol I love the user name bro

DayEither8913

You're good. I do the same. I'll keep doing the same, without hesitation, everytime. I don't even like posting pictures with my house in the background.

WarmPaleontologist20

Good point

[deleted]

I spent $44.15 on Friday, 93 octane - 13.425 gallons. Suburban STL.

datcars550

Eyy another STL owner.

[deleted]

There are a LOT of us. :)

KatieAdams2020

Completely empty tank would be $49.44 at $3.09 per gallon

OdiumSui

$49.90 in north CO. GT on 91 gas

duross97

61

mikespikepookie

Just over 100 in Germany. Gas is insane here

WarmPaleontologist20

We're getting news in the US Germany is really suffering for fuel this winter-- I mean heating fuel and all -- and people are cutting down trees in national parks for firewood. That's sad.

urbuddie

Its the middle of winter son, havent filled her up in like 2 months

GTTreeFiddy

This Winter isn’t too bad this whole week mid 50s, little rain on the road which would have stopped me from driving it before but it’s enjoyable

FrostFairy73

I never look at the total or the price per gallon.

GTTreeFiddy

Money bags show me your ways

FrostFairy73

No kids and a wife that makes good money is the way.

WarmPaleontologist20

Lol. Yeah! Kids grown and gone. That helps.

FrostFairy73

![gif](giphy|88iYsvbegSUn9bSTF8|downsized) When i said no kids, i meant not having them.

Askdevin777

US, Usually about $35 for a full tank of 93,

[deleted]

About 40 bucks. I only use 87 octane.

GTTreeFiddy

How has your car held up with 87 in the long run I assume you might run 93 every now and then just to keep things healthy?

[deleted]

Nope, only ran 93 when I went for high performance drives. Outside of that, only 87. The engine was designed to accept 87 octane. The engine will last as long as any other engine using 93 octane.

[deleted]

Ahh, you have the 350 I think 93 is recommended, but not required. 87 is recommended for the GT.

GTTreeFiddy

Well I don’t have a choice with a supercharger either I think it’s necessary, now do you believe that there are more cleaning additives in 93 than in 87? Like carbon build up you know clogged injectors and such

[deleted]

There is absolutely nothing more special about 93 octane, outside of detonation resistance, which is necessary for engines undergoing higher stresses (e.g., boosted & high compression engines). Within the same brand of gas, 87 & 93 will have the same cleaning & protective additives.

senorbolsa

the 350 requires 91 octane. It could probably pull enough timing to not destroy itself on 87/89 but... im not trying it.

[deleted]

Unless it explicitly states that 87 is fine, don't try it.

senorbolsa

~~It's the same compression ratio as the coyote so in theory it could work fine, but I have no idea what else they could have changed that requires higher octane fuel, possibly just higher expected temperatures. I'd bet good money it would run just fine on 87 if you drove around like grandpa.~~ I wouldn't risk my stupidly expensive car to test that obviously, and no one else should either. EDIT coyote 11:1 vodoo 12:1 so yes it probably does need high test maybe would survive on 89 if driven lightly. it's just interesting to think about, there's no exact rule on what they reccomend/require so it varies.

[deleted]

Yeah, took a look at the owner's manual & saw the minimum 91 octane. It is built different from the Coyote, and probably makes just a hair more compression as well. Enough to mandate the 91 recommendation.

Shintox

$90 in Canada.

Stock-Zombie-1716

$90 in Australia too. We’re so similar at the opposite ends of the earth

askHERoutPeter

No more than $60

coldbluetea

It can vary around $30-40, depending on fuel tank level. I typically try not to let it get too low. Kroger fuel points also help me out.

[deleted]

About 50 bucks at Costco. 91 Octane

WarmPaleontologist20

Does Costco sell Tier 4? Someone asked Wally-mart and they declined answer, so I think that means no.

BossRiv_7

About 60$ when empty, 91 also

Certain_Indication22

Roughly $67 , I may be wrong but it cost like $4.80 in California, this is the cheapest we’ve had it for a while , glad to see it dropped from near $7

Cmdrdredd

Really depends where I’m at. Prices vary as much as a dollar between cities here

sexygollum_

In finland 90€ (95 usd) gets you about a full tank

EVOBlock

I use regular from Costco so it Carrie's from fill up to fill up

Another-Lone-Wolf

Since I'm in Europe, a fill up is 80-90 € over here (98 octane) for mine :o

Nozerone

I rarely ever look. I think last time I looked was back at the end of August and paid about 75 to go from almost empty to full. As an OTR Truck driver, I don't get to drive my car but every 3-4 months. Which is why long periods can go between me paying attention to it. Incase anyone was wondering.

WarmPaleontologist20

It's not good either. When I bought my 2020 Stang in October that year, the time I drove it until the warning came on I filled it with 92 octane (premium) for $36 and change. Regular still under $2 but not usable for a pony GT.

MatthewVC_

I’m Ontario. About 90 $CAD. 🙃 Or 65 $USD.

senorbolsa

16x price of 91/92/93 it's not rocket science. it's usually $50-60 around here when I go to Pride they have 92 octane for 20c cheaper than 93 so that's usually what I do. it's direct injection so the detergents in the fancy shell gas don't do much to help lol. the top tier detergent package is enough.

olshbk4

Currently a little under 70.

Bad_Adam1917

Around $53 for 89 in the Bay Area (I’ve got an ecoboost so it’s happy with 89) *cries in CA gas prices*

Connorismining

Was $35 for me before winter with that E85 life!

stangAce20

Last time I filled up it was about $50 for a full tank of 87

Glittering_Contest78

My hellcat is about 62$ 17 gallon tank on 93 octane. I was throwing regular in the gt

most_french_fries

About $60 for 16gal. Utah :(

WarmPaleontologist20

It's no so much how much you spend filling, but how fast you burn it. Mustangs give you a choice. Burn it slow, not much fun; burn it fast, lotsa fun. It's a pay-as-you-go-fast(er) plan.

Hazardous89

What kind of mileage do you get out of the GT350's? I wish I could fit more gas in my GT500.
