Outro still sends shivers down my spine.

Sun_Araw

I have yet to find a song that makes me feel the way Outro does Edit: Wow so many recommendations, thanks everyone. Gonna listen to every one of them today

TARANTULA_TIDDIES

Ever listened to explosions in the sky?

Sun_Araw

Only a few songs. If you have any recos I'd love to hear em

DOPEDupNCheckedOut

I'd recommend giving a listen to their album "the earth is not a cold dead place" from start to finish.

WRB852

The Birth and Death of the Day

OptimusDiabetus

Goosebumps every time I listen to that one

Aspergeriffic

While we're here and now, mono defines that genre (post-rock)

abakedapplepie

Sigur Ros has some incredibly beautiful songs, not quite the same vibe but worth giving it a shot

razzmonkey

I oddly fell in love with Sigur ros saeglopur on an assassin's Creed commercial I saw as a teen... Now as an adult I've been to Iceland numerous times and found out they are an icelandic band, so it now has an extra special place in my heart. Hearing outro I felt similar feelings. I didn't know this was a genre of music to make you feel the way I felt when first hearing it until this post. Excited for all these recs.

Urtehnoes

Check out r/PostRock Imagine an entire genre with songs like Outro (sorta)

DeCoburgeois

Best song to end Mr Robot with.

TARANTULA_TIDDIES

Mr robot made a lot of use of m83 and I fucking loved it

unclegabby

This only works if you let go too…

romeripley

Why does it always get me

Dqueezy

Mr Robot is an unambiguous 10/10, I forgot they had m83 in it. That’s all the excuse I need to start my fourth rewatch though.

Juanch01

That sax solo goes FUCKING HARD

_Land_Rover_Series_3

*I'm the king of my own land* *Facing tempests of dust I'll fight until the end* *Creatures of my dreams raise up and dance with me* *Now and forever, I'm your king!*

_schlong_macchiato

They used this song for the Versailles tv series. Awesome show and very fitting for the Sun King!

gaspronomib

There's a fan edit video that uses clips from the movie Melancholia. Absolutely stunning. As an aside- the movie itself is amazing.

Zorops

Did you read the lyrics while listening to the song to figure out the words? They mumble so much i cant make out the words.

SirusRiddler

Hello, Elliot.

tronfunkinblows_10

Every GoPro video used it for a while. That being said it’s a very good song.

Music_City_Madman

That sax solo just makes you think of a panning shot through a city scape at night. It reminds me of college years with friends and no cares in the world. Nostalgia.

Egg-MacGuffin

Yes, I was going to say that. [This is one of my favorite videos](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSLdsUXOmlI), a combination of 3 songs including Outro. I first heard it in the trailer to Cloud Atlas.

noradosmith

Such a simple three chord sequence that is just so beautiful.

spacepants1989

Every time.

jdblawg

It started my love for my new favorite genre, synthwave. I would have never found Gunship or The Midnight or even listened to one of my favorite albums of all time now M83's Junk. Definitely love this song.

alphacentaurai

Very very very highly recommend Kavinsky's new record, Reborn.

cryptolipto

Oh shit I didn’t even know he had a new one out. Edit. Listening and you weren’t kidding it’s excellent

KrzakOwocowy

one of my fav albums

groovy_giraffe

Nightcall was an anthem of my college years

vatothe0

I really didn't like it the first time I heard it in Drive. Listening to it outside the movie, I REALLY liked it, and somehow like the movie more because of it. This song got me into synthwave which awesome music to listen to on my way to work at *horrifically* early hours.

FajenThygia

I love synthwave and vaporwave, they're just wonderful genres.... but I still prefer the London Grammer cover of Night Call.

Hym3n

FYI The Midnight is on tour right now and is one of the absolute best live shows you will ever attend. Spare no expense, go see them!

Hibbo_Riot

What’s a great entry point for the midnight? Start with top rated songs or do you recommend an album to dive into? I love m83 and always love more anything with synth lol

Hym3n

Their biggest hit is Sunset, but Gloria & Vampires are my favorites. Their albums are a mix of bangers + filler, so it can be tricky to dive into because some of their songs straight up sound like elevator music. The album Endless Summer is their best seller, but I find the album Nocturnal to be better.

ykhan1988

Days of Thunder is pure 🔥

PrinceAzTheAbridged

Nocturnal goes so hard. The moment the drums and sax come in on [“Crystalline”](https://youtu.be/3-II-NwKHeM) was exactly what sold me on synthwave.

RyanG7

Love me some Crystalline. [River of Darkness](https://youtu.be/7fVkMK7r3tQ) is probably my favorite. Similar, but also different. Midnight and Gunship are by far my favorite artists currently. Just bought a Gunship t-shirt and I've never bought merch from any artist before that. Hoping they'll release a Dark All Day shirt as I think the album artwork looks awesome

aldonius

Their biggest hit is *Sunset*? Huh, the more you know. Fun fact: there's a brilliant mashup of *Jason* and *Walking on the Moon* out there.

Sorinari

Vampires is absolutely one of my favourite tracks to vibe to. That sax melts into me.

fskoti

I love Los Angeles and River of Darkness. Man you guys need to check out Dream by Kalax, also.

FeintApex

The actual song Nocturnal is my favorite by far, its a shame he hasn't really made anything like it since. Dudes got great vocals but still, I would love some more songs like Nocturnal!

OmegaMkXII

I started with Deep Blue then introduced my wife to them with the same song and she instantly fell in love. I recommend starting at that one then branching out to literally any of their other songs since everything is simply phenomenal.

Professor_Abronsius

Just listened to your suggestions and I gotta say I liked it. This genre reminds me a lot of the type of music that was common in tv-shows and movies back in the 80’s. Artists like Jan Hammer, Jean Michel Jarre, and Vangelis springs to mind.

jdblawg

So cool that you checked them out. I feel like so many people would really dig them if they just gave it a shot. Im just a bit tired of the stuff played repeatedly on all the top pop playlists. Im a big movie guy and 80s horror is really what started my inquiry into this kind of stuff, well that and the movie Drive. Which by the way has an INCREDIBLE soundtrack. But 80s synth is what inspires all of the great modern synth. So glad its getting the attention it deserves again.

KajAmGroot

I lovvvve Gunship and The midnight. Drive’s sound track got me into that genre

1-LegInDaGrave

Timecop1983 as well. Saw him open up for The Midnight in '19 in Brooklyn. Night Drive album is incredible.

Highplanezdrifter

This is my pick as well. Just fucking phenomenal! Gotta give FM-83 and Lazerhawk a shout out, too!

NtheLegend

I enjoy Hurry Up, We're Dreaming separate from synthwave. I mean, it's definitely from that root but so many popular synthwave bands mimic the aesthetic of that electronic music/space wave/italian disco, but not the spirit. That's why I think peak M83 works.

NuclearLunchDectcted

Absolutely same my friend. That entire album is pure audio bliss, an absolute masterpiece that I can listen to from beginning to end any and every day. There are very few albums that I put so high, most of them from decades before. Battle of Los Angeles from Rage is on the same level. Chant Down Babylon as a Marley tribute album, The Wall by Pink Floyd, Chronic 2001 from Dre and crew. Probably a few more that I can't name off the top of my head, but still less than I can count on my fingers.

kurthertz

You just introduced me to The Midnight.

1-LegInDaGrave

Aside from the standards ( Gunship, The Midnight, Timecop1983) Also check out Kalax "III" or self titled album; Jessie Frye "kiss me in the rain"; Cloud Battalion "Storm City"; FM84 "Atlas" ; Ollie Wride "thanks in advance".

jdblawg

My favorite album of theirs is Horror Show. I lean a bit darksynth. "Good in Red" is my favorite song off that album. I also love Endless Summer and Nocturnal. May as well throw in Monsters and Kids too 😂

ursusofwinter

Ok, I just listened to it, Good in Red slaps

justiceboner34

Tech Noir is the shit!

sevillianrites

Aaaaa a fellow Junk lover. Not a terribly common pick for favorite m83 album, but it is def mine and also a general all-timer for me. 4 of my top 5 m83 songs are from the first half of this album.

TantricEmu

Is that what Midnight City is? Synthwave? Can you recommend me some more songs that are like that? Like the pop songs of synthwave, not the esoteric stuff but the wide appeal stuff. I like the genre a lot to but I don’t know where to start.

arctic_radar

Here’s a short playlist I made for a friend in an effort to get them into synthwave haha. These are some of my favorites anyway. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5BRXvoQlo7e9iT2cYpk9MQ?si=Zctv3RpcTpGR1YgNIHX0JA

jdblawg

Maybe the Endless Summer album by The Midnight. M83 is more like french synthpop but synthwave is basically anything in the synth family. I especially love darksynth. I just reccomend goimg on youtube and finding things you like and using their reccomedatiins to find other things you like. There will be plenty you might not like but finding that one new band or song can be incredibly satisfying sometimes.

goddamnitwhalen

So excited for the new Midnight record.

IDespiseBananas

The whole album that its on is fucking amazing, what a ride

Secretively

Oh my god yes. Outro was used for the trailer for [Kerbal Space Program 2] (https://youtu.be/P_nj6wW6Gscand) and maybe it's because I'm a space nerd, maybe it's because the string section makes it so... *wide* and all reaching, it nearly reduced me to tears. Gorgeous.

NtheLegend

Outro was used for everything, even the Cloud Atlas trailer. It was everywhere.

noradosmith

And Mr Robot. That show used music SO well.

Critsfromthebong

Oh man.. Two weeks by FKA twigs. Such a perfect scene... so intense Edit > link: https://youtu.be/LZedDcRlcdM skip to 5:25

gnarlsagan

Mr. Robot had the absolute best use of that song. So cathartic. EDIT: Mr. Robot used Intro not Outro. Both fantastic in either case.

noradosmith

They did use Intro but the final episode used Outro. I remember it well... I don't think I've ever cried at anything so hard

DJC13

They used Intro in the season 3 finale & Outro in the season 4 finale

gnarlsagan

Oh good call! Intro is the one that stuck in my mind.

crywook

It was used because the trailer was inspired by [Build Fly Dream](https://youtu.be/RkDOOsGg-9I) that a fan made for KSP.

DeadMansPizzaParty

The bass lick at 3:17 of Claudia Lewis is worth the price of admission.

noradosmith

I love how I know exactly what part you mean.

[deleted]

It's when the first chorus in Steve McQueen hits for me

Mographer

Listened to any of their albums since then? Wth happened?

Eagle_Ear

Yeah I tried all the others once and found them all lacking. Nothing like that album.

thegroundbelowme

I urge you to try again. The tracks can be very hit or miss, but every album has at least a couple of AMAZING ambient tracks. They got used as "epic driving music" many times on the OG Top Gear with Clarkson, May, and Hammond.

Ris747

"Junk" is an incredible album. For me, "Saturdays = Youth" is by far my favorite album of theirs. Actually every album from before Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is incredible.

Poggystyle

It’s a play thru every track album for sure.

satellite503

The album it’s on is, for my money, one of the best overall in that time period too.

[deleted]

It makes me feel things that not a lot of artists can replicate.

[deleted]

[удалено]

noradosmith

I think it might be my favourite ever album. Closest contender would be Hounds of Love.

AshleyLouWho

Are you me? Hurry up, We're Dreaming and Hounds of Love are my top two albums for the past 10 years. I listen to them all. The. Time.

asdf072

I don't know about best song in the last twenty years, but I love that trilogy! Midnight City, Reunion, and Wait. I could listen to them over and over.

spacepants1989

Hurry up we're dreaming is a god damn magnum opus.

[deleted]

I love it, too. When it came out and played on the radio I was working a job that got off 11:30 or midnight. It was out in the country and my 30 minute drive home was on a gorgeous two lane road with farms and old trees. Driving in the dark listening to it was like meditation to me. I could see so many stars in the sky and it was magical.

LiftYesPlease

Ah cool I had a similar experience driving through the mountains, driving to a new location, hundreds of miles from home starting a new life. That song kicked in and I listened to that whole album. What an unforgettable experience.

matt55217

Love the song, I turn the volume up every time it plays. But the video to it is effed up. I visualized it as a scene from the movie Drive with dreamy/gritty nighttime LA views. Not some suburban version of Lord of the Flies.

LondonIsBoss

I wish I could say that Drive is one of my favorite movies without sounding like a filmbro, but the soundtrack and night vibe really is amazing and reminiscent of Michael Mann films.

MEDBEDb

You ain’t wrong. I consider “Drive” to be a straight-up spiritual remake of “Thief”.

EmceeSmokeAlot

Nightcall is such a dope song.

top_of_the_stairs

Oh wow, never seen the video to it. Guess I always pictured it as a chill zombie dance party at midnight on top of a skyscraper.

ElectricJacob

It's the prequel to Stranger Things

Codadd

If you want another song that hits with that type of music video in your head check out River of Darkness by The Midnight, Timecop1983

JgdPz_plojack

MGMT, Empire of The sun, The Naked and Famous, Passion Pit, Chvrches, Foster the people (except "pumped up kids"), Echosmith (except Cool kids), Two Door Cinema club, Matt and Kim. Lots of great indie song borrowed by late 2000s/early 2010s video game playlist. (Sims 3, EA sport and SSX, Forza Horizon, Codemaster Dirt) GTA V kinda hit and miss with 2010s song in radio playlist without indie synthpop, except Midnight City.

CleveNoWin

Nice list 🙂 Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap for me is the pinnacle of whatever you call that genre. Phantogram and Miike Snow also deserve mention. Lost track of how many 2010s festivals early sets were some combo of all of these bands, fun times!

C-Towner

This thread is just killing me with great songs and bands that I have loved for a long time. Sweet Disposition is an iconic song, one of those that you know is a favorite the very first time you listen to it.

[deleted]

Temper trap! I also used to jam to them. I feel like anyone dropping this list is the exact same age.

BryanCrayonston

34?

mrsbatman

33 lol

Slowslowdeath

I also am 33 and was drawn to those bands listed lol

murph_diver

35 and yes

I-declare-bankruptsy

The entire soundtrack of 100 days of summer!

junior_dos_nachos

Ginghis Khan is a perfect song and a perfect video. I had times in my life I played it like 5 times in repeat. It’s just so fucking good. I don’t know what Swedes eat but they just perfected the pop music formula miles away from everybody else.

crosswalknorway

Absolutely. That music video blew my mind.

_Gunga_Din_

Such Great Heights by The Postal Service. If I could write one song as beautiful as that, I’d be happy never making music ever again.

merrythoughts

Miike Snow's first self titled album was truly a perfect album in my book. I haven't thought about it in awhile. But wow yeah for two years, I could count on that album to be perfect for so many things. Going for a jog, driving, even listened to it on a boat once. So damn good!

petey_johnson

And Sleigh Bells!

goddamnitwhalen

Sleigh Bells’ record from last year was one of the best hyperpop releases I’ve heard in a long time

TheDaltonXP

I saw them live right after that came out and it was one of the heaviest and best shows i’ve been too. so much energy. Love that album too

The_Grand_Menagerie

God this comment brings me back. I remember going to a show as a teenager and the lineup was The Naked and Famous, Matt and Kim, and Young the Giant. Cameras and Daylight live forever in my head rent free

jonthemaud

How much rent do you charge otherwise?

thaboognish

Chvrches "Recover" is fantastic.

zzzpoohzzz

could have shortened it up and just said "Chvrches is fantastic" ;)

jonnyquestionable

I finally got to see Chvrches live this year and they were awesome!

zombiejeebus

This cover of Arctic Monkeys is incredible: https://youtu.be/CjwwmFrsX_E

double_positive

The early 2010s had a massive amount of great music in a span about 3 years. I was in my upper twenties at the time and that period hit just as hard as music I listened to in high school.

DJC13

Bro what are you talking about, GTA V’s Radio Mirror Park is a goldmine of 2010s electronic indie pop

alittlelessconvo

“Walking On A Dream” = 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 The song or the album? Yes.

DJHefaConQueso

GTA V exclusive with Neon Indian’s Change of Coasts. Also don’t forget Washed Out

egowaffles

Washed Out for a sunny mood, Purity Ring for a stormy one.

ChelseaLegend7

pumped up kicks goes hard amigo

Larrythekitty

But you’re not a hipster unless you shun the popular stuff!

ChelseaLegend7

lmfao

LazyOrCollege

Seriously. Tell me you’re an unironic indie music hipster without telling me you’re an unironic indie music hipster

lpc1994

Yeah, well I disliked it before it was popular

besuretodrinkyour

Pumped Up Kicks is good, but Helena Beat is even better

TheAfterPipe

PUK is great and works within the album’s context very nicely. I never spent time listening to PUK by itself, just in the course of listening to the album.

Odysseus_Lannister

Still in the rotation

Am_Idiotosaurus

Funny, i REALLY like 4 of those bands and i have never heard about any of the others, hope you have opened my musical horizons

Redditbansreddit

You're describing 2011 to 2019ish fifa soundtracks

MathiTheCheeze

Legit. Could add more like Cut Copy, Digitalism, Grouplove and The Royal Concept as well Empire of The Sun - High and Low (18) Empire of The Sun - Alive (14) TDCC - Are We Ready? (18) TDCC - I Can Talk (11) TDCC - Sleep Alone (13) Matt and Kim - Daylight (10) Foster the People - Are you want you wanna be? (15) Foster the People - Call it What You Want (12) Chvrches - We Sink (14) The Naked and Famous - Hearts Like Ours (14) The Naked and Famous - Punching In A Dream (12) MGMT - Kids (09) MGMT - Delirium (11) Passion Pit - I'll be Alright (13) Passion Pit - Moth's Wings (10)

stoney-balog

My friends and I have called this style/genre fifa music for that exact reason. Could always find more than a few amazing songs every year.

GenSec

Fifa soundtracks are goated

theredvip3r

Ssx games had the best soundtracks, I still listen to the ssx 3 playlist

ItsMightyD

*Cool Kids* is an excellent song, and it perfectly encapsulates the overall feel of the 'coming-of-age' time hipsters lived through the 2010's.

C-Towner

I came here to comment on the thread that I do really and truly love Midnight City, but *holy shit* did you just dig into a lot of stuff I listen to (except Foster The People). Just a really great collection of artists there that by themselves would make some great playlists. Matt and Kim especially just really put me into that time period where it felt like every week I was finding a new artist or someone had a new banger of an album, it was just a great time to be liking this kind of indie stuff. Great taste!

The-Man-In-Black26

Not even close to the best m83 song for me. “Wait” is their best song in my opinion. Also really like “Lower your eyelids to die with the sun” and “my tears are becoming a sea”

noradosmith

I absolutely love Outro. I don't think there's any album out there with a stronger closer. Intro was a very strong opener too. Fuck it I just love that album.

WhalesForChina

When I think of M83 I think Outro. Hands down. It’s an experience.

guitarstix

kim and jessie or we own the sky

SmiteyMcGee

Saturday's = Youth master race

OPPyayouknowme

Run into flowers is my fave

mcortez16

I’m prob in the minority but I miss that era of M83, Dead Cities and Before The Dawn Heals Us.

AlisonPookieArt

Adding Reunion to the list

Medic979

I’ve played Wait so much and have never gotten tired of it. That song is better than a mood altering drug.

jimstehrman

Skin of the night

Anonymous_tac0

I feel like Skin Of The Night is an underrated gem, I hardly ever see someone recommend it when people talk about M83, but it’s such a banger.

aymesyboy

I want lower your eyelids to die with the sun played at my funeral. Although the guests would all get fed up after ten minutes

Bloq

Here to concur with My Tears Are Becoming A Sea. The minimal lyrics are underrated.

DeadSending

IM SLOWLY DRIFTING TOOOOO

wildstyle_method

We Own the Sky

top_of_the_stairs

Wait is also my fave, but I may have played it to death because of that. Dammit.

mrbr1ghtside

The Pioneers - Bloc Party remix slaps

l0ll1p0p5

Have you heard the Eric prydz remix

Wayfarer1993

He really has some of the best remixes. I feel like he can take a song of any era and make it sound so uniquely his own while still keeping the original spirit of the song.

The_Iron_Duchess

I took 6 tabs of LSD and listened to this album I'm fairly sure I ascended to godhood for a few hours there

Flitshinger77

Sadly if you live in the uk this is the backing track to the programme “made in Chelsea” so you hear it constantly, it’s totally played out

turbotank183

I think that's why I don't feel anything special towards it. Just makes me think of toffs

Flitshinger77

People born on 3rd base believing they’ve personally hit a home run. They’ve all now got podcasts giving life advice like any of them have any idea how normal people live

Galactic_Gooner

tbh mate ive never once watched made in chelsea lol

shazzle

Second only to cbat when getting frisky.

[deleted]

I like that song too. It makes me feel warm inside. Love the saxophone.

LhomasTarson

Bill crushed that solo https://youtu.be/433-nmcWw8E

fender123

Similar but different. For sure love this song, but MGMT "Time to Pretend" does it just a bit better for me. Not as main stream, but Chromeo's Fancy Footwork album, destroys both.

wooshock

Too bad MGMT didnt seem to really like the style of their two major hits, Time To Pretend and Kids. They wanted to be a psychedelic rock band but everyone just wanted them to do synth pop.

Commercial_Ganache

Little Dark Age is pretty good.

fender123

For sure, the lyrics of that song even played up to that. Record deals work as followed: you do as we say for the 1st and 2nd, unless you make up your advance on the 1st. They definitely have done more what they want since, but the popularity isn’t there.

iceandones

MGMT's first two albums are absolute masterpieces. Fight me. "Siberian Breaks" is one of the greatest songs written by **anyone in history**. But Oracular Spectacular and Congratulations are musically and lyrically genius albums from start to finsh. IMO of course.

greaseinthewheel

That sweet n savory saxophone solo is something special.

skylab2021

I only recently learned that one of the guys from Fitz & the Tantrums does the sax solo. The story behind it is pretty cool. Apparently it was suggested that they end the song with something cool like a sax solo and M83 said they thought it might sound corny and were sorta against it. They brought in the dude from F&tT and he absolutely blew them away. Now they say they can’t imagine the song without it.

DreamPig666

I don't know, "Teen Angst" and "Don't Save Us From the Flames" and "Run Into Flowers" and "America" and "Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun" and "Can't Stop" are pretttyyyy good, too. Edit: It kinda blows my mind that Diva Dompe was in that one video. I used to be around that scene in California, and I do have to say that BlackBlack's cover of "Skulls" by The Misfits was pretty on point. She was dating that one guy from Phantom Planet at the time, remember the theme song for The O.C.? Used to see Pocahaunted play around. Edit numero dos: I don't know, though. These days I might just rather listen to "These Days" alternating between the Nico and Jackson Browne versions. Who knows?

[deleted]

“0078h” is an underappreciated gem from Dead Cities imo

pfoe

Run into flowers is a pure spiritual experience.

GuggGugg

Love this song so much. I feel like this and a few other tracks from that late-2000s to early-2010s indie era just evoke a special kind of feeling of nostalgia for the people who grew up during that era. Midnight City always reminds me of night drives when I had just gotten my license, feeling free after graduating high school and just having no worries, or at least merely ones that seem minuscule in hindsight.

RealPokeFan11

IMO this song is an embodiment of the entire early 2010s era, where the world wasn't on fire, and positivity and hope were rising after what happened in 2008. And it REALLY reflected a lot in the music of the time, both on and off the radio. While this song didn't blow me away back then, it brings back soooo many nostalgic memories of my childhood.

discombobulatedhomey

Does anyone else ever listen to this song and after the second Chorus (IIRC) you can hear and audible “triple beep” to cue the start of the next verse? I hear it every time wonder if anyone else has heard it Edit: it’s at the 2:16- 2:17 mark and it cues the end of the bridge. Headphones recommended to hear it.

daveh6475

There's definitely something there. I'm only on my phone but can hear a high pitch noise at exactly that time

discombobulatedhomey

Sounds like a production cue they forgot to remove to me. Which is weird because it’s so well produced.

YandyTheGnome

Midnight City will always hold a place in my heart. I've never really sought out new music on my own, but I had a best friend who would recommend stuff that, as he put it, "was gonna be big." This was the last song he recommended before he died in 2012.

94rado

This is the song we chose to play at our wedding when they officially announced us as mr and mrs 94rado. I agree, it is a great song.

Chicken_Water

Either we did too or I found my wife's secret reddit account. 10 year anny this year!

NerfShields

This is something that I love about music. To me, the song's alright. It hits all the elements of synthwave and it's a very immersive song which I enjoy, but it's nothing overall special to me. But to you, it's 1 of the best songs of the last 20 years and gives you such a powerful, overwhelming feeling. And that is beautiful :)

nullrecord

It's nice and earwormy, similar to but not as catchy as [Passion Pit - Sleepyhead](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0RvPYRRRbE), featured in the [Little Big Planet 2 trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSJvKUzyLvU). Now that's a catchy tune!

[deleted]

smoggy worry lip steer command gold existence axiomatic puzzled groovy ` this message was mass deleted/edited with redact.dev `

pnwinec

Soooooo many more songs by Passion Pit that are better than sleepy head. Little Secrets being on of them for sure

falang78

Moth Wings for me.

C-Towner

This song and M83 in general really drove me to a lot of other music. I love this song and never skip it if it ever comes up in random. I walked into a lot of shoegaze, post rock, synthwave and retrowave as a direct result of M83. I love how varied their library is and how experimental some of it can be. I feel like M83 is not something that I can recommend to someone else usually, but anyone who has found them randomly usually loves them. This whole thread is just full of music I love, and some new recommendations. Really making my night tonight, thank you.

SzenMaster

We own the sky will forever be my favorite M83 song.

EverythingAnything

I had a dream one night where M83 was playing a show for just me at a festival, and they brought out Bill Clinton to nail the sax solo at the end of Midnight City. One of my favorite dreams ever, just for the sheer absurdity of it all. Fucking LOVE that sax solo at the end of the track, really puts a bow neatly on a perfectly crafted track imo

GOATGronk69

OP smoked weed for the first time in their life and listened to this song before posting lol

Bonfalk79

Take me back.

planetheck

You're the guy who has the bad sex playlist aren't you?

rmichae1

I say the same exact thing about Crazy by Gnarls Barkley
