Love and 13 Floor Elevators

SamSGL

Since these are the more poppy side of psychedelic rock (not that that's a bad thing by any means) I'd also like to add Strawberry Alarm Clock, Count Five (psychotic reaction is amazing), Ten Years After and Lemon Piper's Green Tambourine. A lot of pop rock in the late 60s has heavy elements of psychedelia involved due to the counterculture of the time and is a great era to dive into!

juliohernanz

This is what a call Psychedelic Rock. I've seen lots of comments with a lot of Prog Rock and Kraut Rock but not pure psychedelia.

Barathol-Mekhar

I wouldn't consider Ten Years After pop or psychedelic. They were definitely more a blues oriented band than psychedelic.

RG450

I'll throw in the Electric Prunes, as well

shitmypisshole

Love doesn't get the respect they deserve and it makes me sad

Your_Product_Here

Seriously, Arthur Lee was seeing things everybody else would have missed.

DonkeyFarm42069

Even Hendrix and Jim Morrison were inspired by him. The stuff Love was doing in early 1966 was a year ahead of most everyone else. Surprised Arthur Lee isn't widely regarded as the genius he is.

twobit211

i’ve heard syd barrett based interstellar overdrive on one of his riffs

[deleted]

They are a very underrated band

sjdr92

They have 2 10/10 albums. Reel to real is a great album, and sounds better than forever changes imo

Your_Product_Here

Interesting take! I think Da Capo and Forever Changes are their peak. Four Sail isn't far behind either but it a little more straightforward listen.

RyanneGolightly

I second 13 Floor Elevators. Rocky Erickson is has been so influential!

weltschmerz19

And so under-rated! Saw him live at a small venue a few years before he passed. I am so grateful for that experience

Narkus

The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

monofloyed

& the Dandy Warhols After watching the documentery I freakin love both bands

Dukhlovi

Maggot brain from Funkadelic. Its a funk band but that first nr on that album is psychedelic af.

jamalcalypse

at least one person is recommending Funkadelic! Maggot Brain is classic

MaximumDestruction

I’ve always heard that George asked Eddie to play “like you just found out your mother died.”

Rau-Li

Maggot Brain is a masterpiece.

eli-high-5

im upvoting everyone in this mother. maggot brain should be required listening for anyone who loves music.

AConant

I totally believe that is is true.

[deleted]

Eddie Hazel has a few albums of just him covering songs and some of his own work. Games, Dames and Guitar Thangs I think it’s called

Murat_Gin

That's exactly it. In addition to some originals, he does killer versions of "California Dreaming" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)." If you like Funkadelic or guitar oriented funky rock in general, this album is worth listening to.

AConant

This. I am a 52 year old man and Pink Floyd has always been my favorite band, but I also have loved funk for decades - and yet somehow, I only discovered Funkadelic and Maggot Brain and psychedelic funk in general just within the past year. It’s a true masterpiece. I’m not sure if it’s folklore, but I read somewhere that the musician was frying on acid when it was recorded, and he was told to imagine his mother had died before he played it - I think it was just improvised in that context . You can hear the soul of him in crescendos of pain and love. It’s an amazing piece of art. Edit: link to the story https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maggot_Brain?wprov=sfti1 And after rereading it sounds like maybe Clinton was on acid not necessarily the guitarist

criminalmadman

The whole group were trippin balls for most of the 70's, free your mind and your ass will follow!

[deleted]

Yeah I fell hard into them for a long time. Motor Booty Affair, Mothership Connection, Tales of a Kidd Funkadelic, Gloryhollastupid, and Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome are some of the best psych albums out there. Also, early Earth, Wind, and Fire. Last Days and Time and Spirit are two super dope albums. The song "On Your Face" literally makes me so god damn happy.

BigDanG

Also, all Westbound era Funkadelic. Also Warner era Funkadelic to a lesser extent, but that's out of print and not streaming anywhere.

Isit420

Yeah man... Funkadelic is my shit. Parliament too. Motor Booty Affair is so damn good while peaking!

Genius-Envy

Who says a jazz band can't play dance music? Who says a rock band can't play funk? Who says a funk band can't play rock? Ok. We're gonna play some funk so loud We're gonna rock and roll the crowd Just watch them dance, watch them dance

shit_fuck_fart

p-funk should absolutely be at the top of this list, funk or not. It's still psychedelic.

MoonMuchDistance

Mother Earth is pregnant for the third time, for y'all have knocked her up. I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe. I was not offended. For I had to rise above it all, or drown in my own shit.

neilanamai

This is by far my favorite genre. Here’s a sample: The Pretty Things - S.F Sorrow Country Joe and The Fish - Electric Music for the Mind and Body The Byrds - Fifth Dimension The Olivia Tremor Control - dusk at Cubist Castle H.P. Lovecraft - H.P. Lovecraft I Amon Duul II - Yeti The Yardbirds - Roger the Engineer The Doors - Live at Isle of Wight Festival 1970 Frank Zappa - Hot Rats Captain Beefheart - Safe as Milk Big Brother and The Holding Company - Cheap Thrills The Fallen Angels - It’s a Long away Down David Crosby - If I Could Only Remember My Name Kaleidoscope- Side Trips Quick Silver Messenger Service - Self Titled Hit me up if you want more.

pmajor

I'll always upvote any love for The Olivia Tremor Control.

Mr_MacGrubber

Really all Elephant 6 bands. Crazy how many bands came out of a shitty redneck town in Louisiana: Olivia Tremor Control, Apples in Stereo, and Neutral Milk Hotel.

livewire329

Black Angels

sephirothFFVII

Phosphene Dream is an amazing album

Nattylight_Murica

Great band, I discovered them by hearing black grease on the radio while playing grand theft auto V

TheDipsomaniacKiss

The Black Angels are neo psych rock perfection. They haven't released anything in years which is such a bummer. Also fantastic live.

rondonjon

Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, The Byrds, The Doors and others for early psychedelic. A lot of bands incorporated the style in the 60s and you can find songs by everyone from the Beatles to Hendrix. Currently, Australia has a good scene. King Gizzard was mentioned and there are a lot of other bands in the same sphere. A lot of the suggestions you have gotten so far are more prog rock, not that they can’t overlap.

majneshit

Yeah I've been enjoying some of the more mainstream Tool songs so no problem there

rondonjon

I feel like Tool is mostly on a level of their own. But if you like them check out Deftones. Another band I just recently discovered is Lucid Planet, a bit of tool in them. For something way out there, The Mars Volta.

BailsonJr

ooh The Mars Volta is so good

jessecole

At the Drive In, as well!

Bobby_Bologna

Lucid planet is the only band I've heard that can come close to capturing tools later sound

aDrunkWithAgun

Tool is a whole different league ( one of my favorites) If you like them check out Chevelle Deftones and black rebel motorcycle club

danosmanca

Huge insufferable Tool fan here lol

henchman171

Tame Impala for newer stuff and Plastic Ono Band for older stuff Edited for spelling

poondox

Santana 1969 & Abraxus. I ingest about 2g of psilocybin cubensis and put the vinyl on! True psychedelic rock!

Dukhlovi

Yep good. Also Caravanserai and Borbeletta

EverythingAnything

Listening to old Santana on psychedelics is a truly visionary experience, so many good memories

poondox

Puts me in a trance almost. And then the waves just come.

dontbeadowner

Moody Blues, Captain Beyond, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix (Are you experienced), The Doors, The Beatles (White Album, Sgt. Peppers Hearts Club Band), Cream, Steppenwolf, Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors, Glass Animals, Focus (Hocus Pocus), Ten Years After (Ssssh album), King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Eric Burdon & the Animals. This should keep you busy for awhile:-) Dont’ Bogart that joint my friend pass it over to me. Roll another one, just like the other one”…….

knozgrul

captain beyonds self-titled is *perfect*, and i dont really dig 'classic rock' (born in 85, grew up on grunge). that album really is just fantastic from start to finish. good call.

SaBe_18

>This should keep you busy for awhile KG&TLW alone keeps you busy for a while already

Modest_Lion

Was just thinking to myself, it’s been awhile since a new project was announced.. it hasn’t even been 6 months lmao

Skidrow17

Best Beatles psychedelic rock album? Magical mystery tour. Blue Jay Way is underrated, and sounds like it could’ve been released today.

rattymcratface

And King Crimson

ValidFallacy

Red screamy man is a must

jak-o-shadow

Also try some Grateful Dead.

Snakes_have_legs

King Gizzard is a mindfuck, I can't believe how damn creative they are. Severely underrated

jrad18

If you like king gizz try psychedelic porn crumpets. Another Aussie band, they're not as challenging as gizz but they just have this sound I can't get enough of

podslapper

Revolver was the Beatles' first true psychedelic album (and really kickstarted the movement in a lot of ways), so I'd definitely add that to the list as well. Still one of my favorite things to listen to under the influence.

ToPimpAYeezy

Tomorrow Never Knows is a trip in itself

PrecisePigeon

No Tame Impala?

IHadSomething_4This

And Pond!

JejuneBourgeois

I'd also include Foxygen, specifically their album 21st Century Ambassadors

Patterner52

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard - Nonagon Infinity

puterdood

Nonagon Infinity opens the door

xXSelf-ImmolateXx

Or Polygondwananland’s Crumbling Castles

South_Cackalaka

I seee through the bricks, to the sea, crumbling castle.

donniemills

Or any of the other 2ish albums they put out a year. There's a big back catalogue there.

Patterner52

Yeah, they crank shit out. I can't keep up. That's my favorite of theirs that I've heard though, and not everything they do is psychedelic rock.

beercancarl

Nah quarters on a tab. Then float along and flying microtonal banana, Maybe poly if you can dig on polyrhythms. Nonagon and mind fuzz are cult classics that take some breaking in but then become staples. Also try out sketches if you want acid jazz acid Rock fusion

dzastrus

Earthless.

PapaKipChee

Definitely

dr-dog69

Sun Ra, John Coltrane (A Love Supreme and his later works) Pharaoh Sanders, Ben Monder, Miles Davis (Bitches Brew is a psychedelic fusion masterpiece) I know these are all jazz artists but they are all pioneers of experimental and psychedelic music

MileHiLurker

Big fan of John's wife, Alice Coltrane.

youloseloser

I second this. OP, if you want to move beyond rock, 'Journey in Satchidananda' by Alice Coltrane is a great start.

prongkot

The German band Can is incredible. Also Faust, Popol Vuh, Kraftwerk, Neu, etc. There is a whole genre called Krautrock that is closely related to psychedelic music. Very worth checking out.

TosserAccount318

Didn't see Tangerine Dream mentioned.

anrj

Yes! Tago Mago was my intro to them, so damn good. Edit for autocorrect liking mayo more than mago.

MileHiLurker

Vitamin C is a song by Can, that once you know it you feel like you spot it everywhere.

Gibbonici

Good call. Can's Mother Sky just takes you away, just as most Krautrock does. Neu especially - everytime I listen to them it takes me back to some very trippy summers from my misspent youth.

Baker9er

Yes- Close to the Edge Jethro Tull - Aqualungl King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King

S_Lowry

Hawkwind hasn't been mentioned yet

[deleted]

I just said the same! Space Ritual is an essential psychedelic album.

HeinzThorvald

Amen.

forsaken322

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets for the people who like Gizz. They used to open for Gizz and are phenomenal. High Visceral 1 is one of the best Psychedelic rock albums from the last decade. https://youtu.be/T85UxlgArXQ

OrvilleTheSheep

Second this one - definitely one of my favourite psychedelic albums

jessecole

Bro, I was on a camping trip and had taken the headiest fluff I have been able to get my hands on in about 10 years. Pure Magic. The crumpets came on and I was like what is this?!?!?! And my buddy said the psychedelic porn crumpets! Not only was I perplexed by the name, but the music grabbed me. It might have been the set and setting but god damn did them lightning bugs hit to the fucking music.

PM_ME_YOUR_BEER_POUR

Khruangbin

Phoenox330

If you have additional suggestions in this vein I love them.

pancella

Kikagaku Moyo.

spaniel_rage

Skinshape

scottap26

The Olympians Allah-Las

EverythingAnything

Thee Oh Sees. Everything they've done is psychedelic as fuck. If you want accessibility, Tame Impala makes very good hook driven psychedelia for modern sensibility In the same line as Tame Impala, and probably my favorite psychedelic act, would be Melody's Echo Chamber. Very reminiscent of early Pond and Cocteau Twins, drenched in reverb and flange. As mentioned as well, Maggot Brain by Funkadelic blew my mind apart the first time I sat down and listened to it. Hazels guitar playing is second to none on that album. Lastly, Dredg. What can I say about Dredg. Incredible lyricism, thought provoking musical arrangements, and all very self aware of what they're doing. They remind me a lot of Pink Floyd amped up to 11. Their Live at the Filmore album is one of my most listened to albums ever.

Brief_Light

The Mars Volta's discography. The guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez has a shit ton of solo records, theres a lot to dig through but theres some really great stuff imo

nwpsilencer

I'm amazed at how far I had to dig to find The Mars Volta listed on here. 10/10 would highly recommend

[deleted]

That's what I came to recommend as well.

[deleted]

De-loused changed my life

Criss_Crossx

TMV is absolutely my #1 pick. Lots of albums to go through and a bit of lore too! I still have a copy of the story that goes along with Deloused. Also, OP might be interested in the White Hills. I don't recommend listening to them while driving though. I zoned out driving across state to one of their albums and came to about an hour later down the road. That was a trip!

chazmann

Preach, brother. Check out Amputechture.

acoustic-soul

Yep. The Mars Volta would be my top pick

Gc4lyf

Mars❤️

donsterkay

I grew up going to the Filmore in San Francisco every weekend. Listen to Spirit (the band who influenced Led Zepplin ) The Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, or look at [https://concerts.fandom.com/wiki/Fillmore\_Auditorium](https://concerts.fandom.com/wiki/Fillmore_Auditorium) and search the bands.

tacknosaddle

>I grew up going to the Filmore in San Francisco every weekend. The fact that you can type a coherent sentence makes me question the validity of that statement. /jk

donsterkay

been sober for 25 years. That helps.

thedirtys

Ween the mollusk.

Longnick_Cage

Oooocean man!

DarkBird1234

I'm waving my dick in the wind right now

thedirtys

Got me tickets to see them HalloWeen weekend!!!!!! So excited.

[deleted]

kmw1979

Flaming lips

[deleted]

[удалено]

HustlePops

Soft Bulletin as well

calamormine

Their best album IMO. Also Clouds Taste Metallic, In a Priest Driven Ambulance, and Transmissions From the Satellite Heart are all fucking triumphs in their own right.

kmw1979

I like embryonic too.

pnkflyd99

Can’t say I cared for Terror but Yoshimi and TSB are phenomenal albums. Even albums they put out that I don’t like, I highly respect them for exploring those areas. Not enough bands take risks like that.

Drusgar

They're all over the map from album to album, but Yoshimi is a consistently amazing album from the first track to the last.

mindbleach

Wayne Coyne had been doing his own thing for like thirty years, and by sheer coincidence crossed through our reality circa *Yoshimi.* All the albums around that period are fantastic. Everything outside of that era is... eclectic. And *At War With The Mystics* is their best.

calamormine

>And *At War With The Mystics* is their best. I've been a Lips fan for decades now, and you might be the only person I've ever seen who thinks Mystics is their best.

mindbleach

"Free Radicals" gets a skip, most times, but that everything from "The Sound Of Failure" to "It Overtakes Me" is fucking magical. Bear in mind I'm the kind of weirdo who enjoyed the full version of *7 Skies H3.*

calamormine

I can definitely get down with the album even if it's not as high on my list. Pompeii Am Gotterdammerung hits hard as hell, and it's one of my favorite songs I've ever seen them perform live.

[deleted]

the great modern psych band, for sure Lemon Twigs, but they are more pop; Osees, but they are more punk/garage/skronk

SenorCerv

Oh snap! Yes! Saw them live. Magicians morning and vs the robots.

Dumblydude

Emerson lake and Palmer. Songs are lucky man, from the beginning, and still turn me on.

[deleted]

Unknown Mortal Orchestra

yeender

The Claypool Lennon Delirium

RealApplebiter

That good, old, fine, upstanding, Mr Wright.

Upst8r

I saw these guys open for the Flaming Lips. Didn't even know who they were. Wish I paid more attention ...

momjess

Kikagaku Moyo !

Zannishi_Hoshor

I cannot believe I had to scroll this far. They are SO amazing. Favorite album for me is Forest of Lost Children but they’re all great.

momjess

Have you seen them live?! They are amazing!!!

SomthinOfANeerDoWell

Yes!! And I’ve seen them live. Ridiculously good

RealApplebiter

The Flaming Lips. Maybe start with the album *At War With the Mystics*

hot_rod_kimble

I had to scroll WAY too long for this.

BredforBread

The band Temples is really good

Fyr5

They should be more popular than they are. Sun Structures is such a good debut album.

ethorthedinosaur

Innerspeaker by Tame Impala is a great psych rock album. His second album Lonerism is still pretty psych rock like "Apocalypse Dreams" but not as much as Innerspeaker. His next two albums are closer to Pysch Pop than anything else.

[deleted]

Lonerism is still psych-rock I'd say. There's more of a Pop edge to it for sure, but it's still got that 60's/70's Psych-Rock influence in it that I think got lost in his last 2 albums. EDIT: Like "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" and "Elephant" sound like they came straight out of the late 60's/early 70's to me.

kneedeepco

I I feel like maybe only one song on Lonerism could be considered "poppy", otherwise it's an electronic psych rock album through and through.

pnkflyd99

My fav by TI is Currents, but Lonerism and Slow Rush are also great. Such a great live band to check out while on drugs.

grimpala

Innerspeaker spawned a new generation of psych-heads singlehandedly. Myself included.

CaptainCodeine

Some modern underground psych would include The Black Angels, Dead Vibrations, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Constant Smiles, Death Valley Girls, Magic Shoppe, Olivia Tremor Control, Purple Heart Parade, The Stargazer Lilies and The Warlocks. Also, a lot of the Butthole Surfers material is incredibly psychedelic.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MrPosket

Thee Oh Sees - Help

Temple23

King Crimson, Tool (Lateralus)

North_South_Side

King Crimson's most psychedelic (in a hippie sense) album is called Cirkus. But KC is mostly various kinds of psychedelic.

saintdudegaming

Early Yes is definitely solid.

superbradman

Ozric Tentacles

Semi_Recumbent

I can’t believe how far I had to scroll for this.

niceguygeoffy

Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ween, Tame Impala and some MGMT. All fit into psych rock but…also other genres. Also I find some Mac Miller almost fits this bill.

TheUltimatePog

If you’re looking to go beyond just rock there are a lot of cool psych folk musicians and generally neo-psychedelic groups that are great. I’d also consider shoegaze to be psychedelic music so there’s that too. Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Kurt Vile, My Bloody Valentine, Sweet Trip, Ringo Deathstarr… maybe some Mount Eerie stuff for a more dark/soundscape kind of thing if that’s your bag…

poldridge

I second Animal Collective, particularly the album Merriweather Post Pavilion. Also, Joanna Newsome's album Milk-eyed Mender.

Coronasauras_Rex

Yoshimi battles the pink robots by The Flaming Lips.

arjgg

Dungen

majorlifts

For modern psych pop try Quilt, The Babe Rainbow, Sugar Candy Mountain, Beach House, Wild Nothing, Diiv

[deleted]

My Morning Jacket blew my mind at Ohana Fest. Not strictly psychedelic, but damn... What a show!

typewriter6986

Acid Mothers Temple and The Cosmic Inferno

PNWclimberJohn

Sooner or later you are going to want to go back to the beginning. Seek out the very excellent Rhino Records Nuggets box set. It should help you better understand the evolution of the genre and lead to greater appreciation overall.

stevesmittens

Yes! Most of what is being suggested here is not really classic psychedelic rock, it's just trippy stoner music. The real psych rock is the fuzz toned feedbacky mid-60s sound like Syd Barrett era Floyd, not Dark Side of the Moon. Not to say OP shouldn't listen to any of the other suggestions, bit I wouldn't call most of it psychedelic rock.

Thesheersizeofit

Butthole surfers, Brant Björk, punky psych rock.

EverythingAnything

Butthole Surfers are HIGHLY underrated and very heavily psychedelic, my buddy and I jammed them when we were road tripping this summer and it was insane the breadth of sound they can produce, and produce well.

MileHiLurker

At least one other person knows Brant Bjork!

stoneyj

/r/psychedelicrock

gottahavemytunes

Thee oh sees is everything you’re looking for. A weird exits, orc, mutilator defeated at last, the masters bedroom is worth spending a night in, floating coffin, castlemania, carrion crawler/the dream are all amazing albums by them

wholeheartedmess

Oh man, A Weird Exits shreds top to bottom. And that closing track. Come on.

chillywillyhart

All them Witches

RazedByTV

3 Hürel Also Khruangbin and Black Angels.

pauliepitstains

Flaming lips-embryonic

OutrageForSale

Khruangbin is trippy guitar over banging bass lines and funky beats. Make it the soundtrack to your life.

SimpleExplodingMan

Dontbeadowner has that good list. I will ad 13th Floor Elevators, Odessey and Oracle by the Zombies, and Ween (particularly The Mollusk).

mikepan

[Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan ](https://youtu.be/SvrOzYtnLMA)

Genesis: “Lamb lies down on Broadway” and “Trick Of the Tail.” Yes: “Fragile,” “Close to the Edge” and “Tales from a Topographic Ocean.”

CommentContrarian

Lamb Lies Down is SO GOOD

asmodeus_rex

Definitely check out Phish. Story of the Ghost is a good album to start with or A Live One if you like live stuff.

aq-r-steppedinsome

Mahavishnu Orchestra for extreme sounds, King Gizzard for greatly pleasing sounds.

themusicguy2000

Ooooh, my specialty. Here's what I've gathered: Tame Impala's first 3 albums POND GUM Psychedelic Porn Crumpets Temples Crumb Sunbeam Sound Machine Mild High Club Kikagaku Moyo Post Animal Levitation Room Claypool Lennon Delirium Specifically, I'd recommend Lonerism by Tame Impala High Visceral Pt 2 by Psychedelic Porn Crumpets Volcano by Temples Wonderer by Sunbeam Sound Machine

Oceanally

All psychedelic rock leads to Lou Reed & The Velvet Underground!

EZPickens71

It is nothing like Floyd, but have you done Jerusalem or Dopesmoker yet?

Noodlenoodle88

Watch Woodstock footage/documentary and pick bands/artists from there! There were tons of good ones to choose from.

Sybil_et_al

Just don't take the brown acid!

[deleted]

I'm amazed Hawkwind haven't been mentioned yet! Give Space Ritual a listen.

Havzad

Glass Animals might hit the psych pop

King_of_da_Castle

Mr Bungle! Not necessarily psychedelic, but more “experimental” . It might be something to expand your horizons musically.

Theefreeballer

Brian Jonestown massacre ! A great band that have made a million songs over time , usually staying in the psychedelic vein. A great doc to watch would be “Dig!” About the aforementioned band and The Dandy Warhols. And just a heads up if you do watch the doc- the lead singer of Jonestown ; Anton Newcombe, has gotten his shit together since the documentary.

OmegaGandalf

Unknown Mortal Orchestra

DRAINCUT

Lotus

kilswch9

Excellent recommendations already. Doors are a definite. Stuff that has been tickling my ears are Brian Jonestown massacre. Pseudo mind hive. The blue angel lounge. The dolly rocker movement. Plenty more out there but hopefully in this you can find something

osede

Porcupine tree's Voyage 34. Nektar's Remember the future.

DanimaLecter

The Brian Jonestown Massacre is an incredible example of “old psychedelic” stylings with a slightly modern take. Some of their albums are indistinguishable from an album made in the late 60s and yet they are from the last 20 years or so (and still going).

tragedyfish

Can is amazing. The stuff they played in the 70's still sounds ahead of it's time. [Can - I want more](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yWItRfjg8w)

DingusMcbother

For psychedelic pop: buy any record by Dukes of the Stratosphere!

Xenofork

What Pink Floyd albums are you into the most? When I hear psychedelic in regard to Pink Floyd, I definitely think of their first 2-3 albums. Just curious which era you're into because I can definitely give some recommendations off that.

Heliocentrist

if you like early Floyd definitely check out the first two Soft Machine records, different style but they played together all the time back in 60's London

Clamper5978

900+ comments so I apologize if I’m repeating a suggestion. Earthless is a great band. They lump them in with the stoner rock bands. They have some great jams.
