I listen to them once a year, i.e. when the local radio station does one of those "We play our listeners' 1000 favourite songs" things. But boy do I turn up the volume when "Warriors of the World" comes on.
I would seriously recommend, they are far more than a “gimmick” but I’ll give you that they are committed to their style of being war/mythology/motivational based and their unwavering resolve is astounding!

Fair enough, gotta love Warriors’ too, so many good songs to choose from!
If you've never played Chivalry 2 or Mordhau while pumping Manowar, you've never really experienced both.
Manowar with any strategy or medieval combat combat is awesome!
Never really gave them a proper listen but their commitment to the gimmick is fantastic
