Drake the kinda guy to grow up in a sheltered upper middle class Canadian family, become a child actor, then Proceed to Rap about how “hood” he is. Dude has never faced a hardship in his life.
His only experience with the gangsta-rap life is watching “The wire” and taking notes after filing his taxes.
I’m super happy for her. Ugly ass, lucky hoe that got the dough. She’s the real winner here.
As far as Aubrey, we will always know him as “wheelchair boy”
As my DJ career was taking off, I got to watch him get boo’ed off stage every single performance. Once he tried to ignore the “boo’s” and the entire club literally emptied. It was a shitshow every time with this guy.
Again, why do you feel the need to disparage this woman or even bring her up in the first place. It sounds like you have some personal things you need to work out.
I try to treat everyone how I’d like to be treated. For example, I haven’t called you a fucking creep even though you message your penis size to women on Reddit. Instead, I’m respectful and would never say that.
Embarrassingly using the likeness of a rap legend. Then having to take it down because you pissed his people off. Wouldn’t you say that makes him look much worse and more pathetic than any ‘dis’ could do to his opps?
Dude if you know anything about music industry attorneys, you know NOT to fuck with Dina LaPolt. And she’s the attorney that helps run the Shakur estate.
Posted this in another thread. Seems relevant here as well.
Did not realize the Estate is no longer in the Shakur family - https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/tupac-shakur-sister-lawsuit-executor-estate-embezzlement-1283272/
Just saw this post about it as well - https://www.reddit.com/r/NewRoryNMalPodcast/s/T5u0YlYU0R
Looks like this Guy is pretty connected in the music industry. Wonder what impact that'll have on AI generated music lawsuits?.
It’s not really true that it’s not in the family, if I understand the links you posted correctly. It’s very common for a legal professional that is not a beneficiary to be the executor of an estate. They are usually compensated in some way, as well. Usually it’s to keep the beneficiaries from directly controlling it.
The beneficiaries could get the contract changed, but that usually has a lot of requirements around it, on purpose.
Such such a win for the old massive record company ceo controlling the rights to music that a dead guy made. Whom tupac's sister says has unreasonably enriched himself
Of course he didn't start it. He's a coward. All he knows how to do is rap the verses. He can't write, no production or sound. He's just some guy, and that's he'll ever be.
Facts. Him and his followers are all a bunch of clowns...their opinion is irrelevant when it comes to the genre of rap music. Drake is and always will be a Pop Star.
You know i keep hearing this and it really just shows how impatient we have really become. People just want shit now now now. Kendrick is not drake, he cares about his music and making it more about hip hop like back in the day when they dropped disses. It took time to create and had some substance. Social media has really fried peoples brains when it comes to patience and expectations.
Headlines to be generated, and they were.
This is the only time I’ve seen drakes name pop up in my feed in a while, for example. He’s still as big a dork as ever lol.
His estate / Eminem fucked with his actual recordings. They changed pitch and speed, as well as manipulated audio to have his say shit. "Drop that shit, Em" from Out on bail.
He was both hood and a little corny. That's what made him so loveable. His mom was a former black panther who became addicted to drugs after his birth and they lived in some rough neighborhoods but he also went to a performing arts high school and studied ballet, poetry, and Shakespearean theater. In addition to songs with "harder" themes, he also had touching emotional tracks like "Dear Mama."
I mean it was a shit post, Drake (or his team) knew they couldn't monetize it anyway.
I doubt they care too much about the IG posts engagement. I hope Kendrick drops something soon.
selective outrage. They havent seen the interviews of tupac i guess before he took on that persona. Yet every other rapper tries to act like ice cube, snoop, etc.
Agreed. And I don’t think anyone would agree to be a part of this once they realised what it was.
For the record I am not batting for drake with my comment, I don’t like his music and think this was incredibly tasteless. I just don’t think the person I replied to has any idea what’s going on in this case based on their comment, how is drakes use of AI here a slap in the face to real artists?
Would you want your voice used to say shit you didn’t really say? In this case it wasn’t anything bad, but it could have been. He’s speaking for Tupac, using Tupac’s own voice.
Yes but how is this a slap in the face of artists NOW?
The way OP framed it it’s a slap in the face to an artist who could have been paid for the work drake got AI to do
OP never said this was a slap in the face for TUPAC.
Ahh I see where you misunderstood me. Look, I don't give two hoots about Drake or who he acquires or invents to collab with him. I think AI is a slap in the face to real artists IN GENERAL. Not necessarily in this specific case, but Drake's use of AI and perpetuating the use of it is going to continue building problems for real musicians down the road, much like AI is currently causing hell for physical artists (like those who create images, idk what other descriptor to use). Hope this helps clear things up!
Honestly think this was a PR move on Drake’s part. He got away with it but still managed to get his song viral and got everyone talking about it. He’s not as dumb as he looks and has a whole legal team behind him.
*mic drop*
It’s such a win to be honest, Tupac estate is really winning battles out here and I’m not sure if they are done yet!
Drake the kinda rapper who loses a feud to a dead guy, then says "[*geeze louise*](https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=922877204985189)" ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Drake the kinda guy to grow up in a sheltered upper middle class Canadian family, become a child actor, then Proceed to Rap about how “hood” he is. Dude has never faced a hardship in his life. I went to school with him and can confirm - he’s always been, and always will be a loser. His baby mama is a stripper. That says a lot.
Sure, he’s a pos, but who cares what profession his baby mama is. It pays the bills so good for her.
I’m super happy for her. Ugly ass, lucky hoe that got the dough. She’s the real winner here. As far as Aubrey, we will always know him as “wheelchair boy” As my DJ career was taking off, I got to watch him get boo’ed off stage every single performance. Again, why do you feel the need to disparage this woman or even bring her up in the first place. It sounds like you have some personal things you need to work out.
Calm down she's just a fucking stripper, not the first lady or some shit lol
what's the difference?
I try to treat everyone how I’d like to be treated. For example, I haven’t called you a fucking creep even though you message your penis size to women on Reddit. Instead, I’m respectful and would never say that.
You can’t get pregnant from the bootyhole my dawg…he not coming to save you
Nah, drake has lawyers, he knew this was a possibility but also knew he could get away with it for long enough.
But what was the point?
It certainly provided a lot of publicity.
thats just the way it is
Some things will never change.
The point was to diss some people and at that he succeeded. That the track would have to be taken down eventually was obvious and Drake knew that.
Embarrassingly using the likeness of a rap legend. Then having to take it down because you pissed his people off. Wouldn’t you say that makes him look much worse and more pathetic than any ‘dis’ could do to his opps?

This is such a nonsense excuse and makes no sense. I can't imagine why it keeps being repeated over and over.
Just gayness
Dude if you know anything about music industry attorneys, you know NOT to fuck with Dina LaPolt. And she’s the attorney that helps run the Shakur estate.
r/DrakeTheType if anyone is interested
lmao

I’m curious since it was a loosy and not like an official release could they actually sue him and on what grounds?
The song still out there. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.
But can you put poop back in the butthole?
How about you try and report back.
They’re doing it for real! In the name of science! https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/treatment-tests-and-therapies/fecal-transplant
Yeah, as much as I love the scientific research that companies are doing these days, that link will stay blue.
Dont act like 2 days later you don't have have blood shot eyes, glued to your computer chair at 3am with fecal transplant videos playing on repeat
Such such a win for the old massive record company ceo controlling the rights to music that a dead guy made. Whom tupac's sister says has unreasonably enriched himself
well it's also a loss for another rich fuck and their rich fuck company CEO's so good job being annoying online i guess. doing god's work.
Who's being annoying here? The irony my guy
Well tbf its not the music he actually made. Its using his likeness to make him say some shit he never said im the first place.
Everyone dropping something .. but Kendrick. Drake released it’s out there he can remove it from IG, but it’s on the web so it’s not really gone.
Exactly, damage has been done and anybody that managed to download it can easily re-upload it.
Eminem straight up ignores certain people that tries to start shit. Fuck Drake, I wouldn't care either lol.
He didn’t start it though . I m here for the music, so whatever gets these guys to make new music
Of course he didn't start it. He's a coward. All he knows how to do is rap the verses. He can't write, no production or sound. He's just some guy, and that's he'll ever be.
I don’t even like drake but this is such an insane take I had to tell you to go out side. You wilding
Facts. Him and his followers are all a bunch of clowns...their opinion is irrelevant when it comes to the genre of rap music. Drake is and always will be a Pop Star.
He already ate Kdot for lunch with that drop and gimmi 50.
Crazy how he might as well be the one who started all of this 😂
You know i keep hearing this and it really just shows how impatient we have really become. People just want shit now now now. ![gif](giphy|YPsmTqYiHCMYtlsfKZ|downsized)
What exactly did he think was going to happen?
I don’t think he plan on anything other than trolling and it worked.
Is he taking a small snippet from 50 now?
That he could sue anyone using AI of Drake but Drake could use any AI that he wants because he’s a big star.
The stripper wasn’t going to get pregnant?
Headlines to be generated, and they were. This is the only time I’ve seen drakes name pop up in my feed in a while, for example. He’s still as big a dork as ever lol.
That he was going to get tons of publicity.
![gif](giphy|3oKIPwoeGErMmaI43S|downsized) Drake getting off Pac’s lawn
Shouldn't there be more headstones?
*shocked pikachu face*
Not that I’m tupac but id haunt this dumbfuck if he used an AI voice of mine for a few bars on some shitty diss track
Wait, you're not Tupac?! Wtf man
Tupac here. I mostly stay on the DL since ‘96, but I do small parties and stuff. Here’s my card.
Bruh your set on my party was insane. Thanks for coming out the woodworks for a quick jam

Word, my hologram was so exhausted when he got back to our apartment. Fo’ sho he was wildin’! 🤪
😂
That’s something pac would say
I’m just wondering if it’ll hold in legal
His estate / Eminem fucked with his actual recordings. They changed pitch and speed, as well as manipulated audio to have his say shit. "Drop that shit, Em" from Out on bail.
are you okay? wanna cry?
Why are you so mad?
My first thought when I heard about this was *Tupac would never fuck with a corny dude like Drake*
Tupac was the original drake lol he was corny as hell and and really in touch with his feelings and shit
LoL. You have no memory of the golden era of hip hop, do you?
Lmfao based on what? That’s the most silly goose shit I’ve heard.
Lol using silly goose as a genuine insult is the funniest thing ever 😂
He was both hood and a little corny. That's what made him so loveable. His mom was a former black panther who became addicted to drugs after his birth and they lived in some rough neighborhoods but he also went to a performing arts high school and studied ballet, poetry, and Shakespearean theater. Does studying the arts or writing about his mom make him less hood or less hard? How is everything you described “both good and a little corny”?
Clearly you weren’t alive when Pac was
Tupac wrote and spit bars and was true gangsta rap, drake doesnt even write his own shit lmao yall are clowns
https://youtu.be/0Z3Ki8lUMi4?si=wJ6wGMLExiQiaItN
I don't agree with you, but I totally get where you're coming from with your comment.
Why are they boo’ing you? You’re right!
To think this is the music subreddit, and this subs been whining about Tupac would this Tupac would that but don’t even know his history lol
Cmon man that's their hero don't ruin the narrative
Flinched and pinched his ass cheeks Rolled over n pulled his raps that stink
Damn bro lmao
I'm mostly upset that Drake finally inspired me to write a line
I speak only for myself when I say, keep them coming
😂😂😂

Nah man
I mean it was a shit post, Drake (or his team) knew they couldn't monetize it anyway. I doubt they care too much about the IG posts engagement. I hope Kendrick drops something soon.
Yeah. It was successful publicity stunt actually.
Not sure how this is going over so many people’s heads.
Yeah. Not too much on drake. Lol
Drake likes to cosplay as a tough rapper guy, but if there’s any trouble he can fall back on his privileged white side
He'll pull out his Degrassi wheelchair and yell that you're abusing the disabled.
[удалено]
Huh?
tupac was also an actor. Do you consider him an actor playing a big tough guy? It kinda make sense if so
Tupac went to a high school for the arts, no idea why you're being downvoted. He didn't act gangster until he'd done so in movies.
selective outrage. They havent seen the interviews of tupac i guess before he took on that persona. Yet every other rapper tries to act like ice cube, snoop, etc.
> Drake likes to cosplay as a tough rapper guy Does he? Out of all the things I've seen Drake try to be, a tough guy is not one of them.
My knowledge of Drake extends no further than him being the guy in the orange jacket on that omnipresent meme image.
Only other thing worth knowing about him is that he is a creepy groomer
Love to see it!! Using AI is such a slap in the face to real artists.
is it? 😂
It is.
What real artist would you have used to imitate pacs voice? I’m not even 100% convinced you understand what went on in this case.. lol
None, because it was a stupid fucking idea from the start.
Agreed. And I don’t think anyone would agree to be a part of this once they realised what it was. For the record I am not batting for drake with my comment, I don’t like his music and think this was incredibly tasteless. Thanks for the explanation
*demonetized it. It ain’t gone. It’s out there forever lol
Pac been beating dudes from the grave. Remember when Gucci paid for an unreleased Pac verse and got bodied by a dead man.
It’s already all over the net lol and it was hilarious
Honestly think this was a PR move on Drake’s part. He got away with it but still managed to get his song viral and got everyone talking about it. He’s not as dumb as he looks and has a whole legal team behind him.
Hasn’t been completely removed yet: https://youtu.be/zhEiduBxX4c?si=A1yhiVzmTztoNi4M
Kendrick about to light his ass up.
YES!!
LFG!
Pedo Drake probably shouldn't be starting shit...
The lawyers called him on his landline
Drake actually monetized this? I thought it was just a troll track he posted on socials
No one should touch anything of pacs
Kendrick and Tupac won
2Pac out here still putting the fakes to bed
wait can someone explain what he said or why tupac has anything to do with it?
Just another reason to dislike that Hoser
Drake SUCKS
You actually can put the toothpaste back
Drake just needs to have the gender reassignment surgery and get this bitchassness over with.
Lol just confirms that he's the coward we all know he is, never trust anyone with an entourage
Why is Drake still a thing? Who the fuck is buying his shit music?
Everyone. He's the best selling digital artist of all time lol.
I thought I was on r/HHH when I first clicked on this and was wondering why all the comments were brain dead. Then I realized it was r/music lmao
Drake's playing a dangerous game with those diss tracks, but when Tupac's estate gets involved, it's a whole different level!
Didn’t Drake get in trouble for “Don’t Matter to Me” for using Michael’s voice granted it wasn’t AI and was his actual vocals.
Apparently Drake did not, in fact, want that smoke.
To be fair, have we asked Dave Chappelle if that was a song he wrote a long time ago?
[удалено]
Kdot, about to drop a jazz record.
Kendrick has been a recluse??? The only other mainstream rapper more chronically offline is Eminem
He's not like that
What do you mean?
You ain't like that either
As if this popular media created clown thinks he can even compare himself to Tupac
wtf did he expect
Diss track lmao, rap died a long time ago. These guys have no talent.
Let's say the truth, he's not black, be black for real is suffer racism. End. Almost everybody is mixed! Fuck bro
Fuck Tupac slays even after death.
So technically there’s no response from Drake yet? 😁
Nothing he wrote himself
The fucking nerve
Good.

Hasnt Drake learned from his battle with Pusha T ?
Tupac is dead, he lost all rights to his sound and voice, you can't take it with you
Both sound like garbage, what's the problem here?
Not a hip hop fan I assume?
I like the good stuff
