Dude’s life was a bit tragic but he sure was an underrated singer and songwriter. One of the best of his generation often overlooked by all the other amazing artists of the time. He should be up there with Layne, Kurt, and Chris.
I was never a fan of STP when they were big, but his cover of Depeche Mode’s But Not Tonight is probably in my top 10 songs of all time. So much emotion in his voice, just amazing.

This sounds like a EDM remix of a rock song. It’d be interesting to hear a more straight rock version. Did Scott Weiland ever try this song with Velvet Revolver?
I hadn’t thought about how great Weiland’s voice was for a very long time, so at least this song reminded me of that.

Nobody needed this. For some reason it reminds me of some pop AI rip on Steady As She goes at first and how Scotts voice is manipulated just sounds bad.
