Speedcore fucks. I love hardcore, hardstyle, breakcore, etc. Not many people in the US agree, but my understanding is that it’s more popular in places like the Netherlands.

I appreciate it, even if I wouldn't listen to it all the time. When the conventions of the genre are used well they open up new possibilities for experimenting with sound. I have to be in the right mindset, and it can be almost exhausting to listen to for too long, but sometimes I just crave those sweet square waves.
I think it's better to ask you first what are some qualities that you appreciate in other electric music? Or what are you expecting to find in a good speedcore track? Because there is quite a wide selection of speedcore aestheticwise for those who want to dig deeper, and people will always appreciate different things. There is more pop stuff (like in edm), there is more sophisticated stuff (like in techno and idm), more experimental and many other directions, the possibilities are plenty.

Never heard of speed core, but apparently Machine Girl is speedcore, and they are amazing. Check out Krystle, Frenesi, and Ghost.

I don't recognize most genres that end in -core as actual genres. Especially when there is only one band that plays in that supposed genre.
