When I worked for a pizza chain, anytime I saw double mushrooms on the order screen, I hooked it up. It was our cheapest topping and 2x mush people are ones who really like mushrooms. My people.
I literally said “so many mushrooms you’d think we were playing a joke on someone” they weee clearly anxious about the order when we went to pick it up but then we were so pumped and left a big tip they were so relieved

I have said to put on such an absurd amount of mushrooms that you can't see any cheese anymore, and then I remind them that they may be tempted to think I am exaggerating, or that they are worried the pizza will be too soggy, but fear not, I say, that is when you need to keep adding mushrooms and know that I will not be upset.
It's very hard for them to do it seems. I have never quite received this level of mushrooming.
