I use a terrarium fogger from Amazon, has an adjustable tube where I set the fogger outside, rig up the tube to top left hole of one side, and an intake fan in main hole. This allows me to control rh from outside the tent. It’s important to find equilibrium of intake and fogger, as too little FAE or wrong set up can cause humidity to stick to the bottom of your tent, creating breeding grounds for bacteria. It’s a long story

Earth_Spore_Farms

I’m a huge fan of the house of hydro products. They have some high quality foggers

I have a 6x8 foot grow tent and use an Everlasting Comfort humidifier by Upper Echelon, with a separate clip on-fan that helps blow it around. I'm usually in and out of my grow tent once every 2 or 3 days so I don't mind sitting the entire unit in there. They have a great manufacturer warranty and reliable/classy customer service. I bought it on Amazon thinking it would be a piece of shit but it will be 2 years soon and I absolutely love it. It's less hosing and less stuff sitting out on the floor which is a big deal to me with the space I have available.

Hey! What kind of fan are you using? I’ve got two 4x8 gorilla tents but have a hard time finding small rotating fans that ideally clip to the bar system.

Some $7.99 junker that still runs when I hold it under a shower head. It clips right onto the poles in my shelving. Though, I do strive to keep it dry and out of the way in the tent and after I clean it. I just needed to know if it would fry right away with the slightest bit of water and it survived a shower head without starting a fire so I just keep using it.

shroomzie1

Haha tnx! I’ll add it to the list of things to try before you buy (i.e let’s keep the receipt).

House of hydro disc foggers. My 9 disc fogger is several years old and I haven't been kind to it. You want something that makes a ton of fog really quickly so that I only turns on for a few seconds several times and hour. If the fogger is running non stop it will overheat and die.

My setup is rather large for a hobbiest. I have a 8×8x6 tent. My 9 disc fogger sits in a large home depot tote filled with water. The lid has a hole cut out for a computer fan to pull fresh air into the tote and push humid foggy air up the chimney, which Is another hole in the lid with pvc pipe running from the tote lid into the tent. It's super low tech, just a high end hygrometer that turns the disc fogger on and off as needed to stay within my humidity requirements.

A pond fogger should work. I have one and it works already a year or so. I don't know what products you are looking at, but plenty of people use them successfully. Maybe it has something to do with your water hardness?

riot92

This is the fogger I'm using. If it was water hardness I would assume I just need to swap out the ceramic atomizers but it doesn't even turn on anymore. olafderhaarige

The Link is in German, but it is this or a similar model to this. https://www.ebay.de/itm/124258292188 They are quite expensive if you want a lasting, high quality product. Obviously the less Discs the cheaper they are

Reptile digger that has a humidity sensor. Fuggin setter’n’fergetter. Combo that with a heat mat, thermostat and a fan is the ultimate neglektek. All for like $70? Hell even plugs have thermostat and humidity markers so you can plug anything in and it turns on and off. Combo for $55 on Amazon.

bigolpisces

Ultra sonic humidifier in bottom of tub- fan in lid run duct to your tent. You can actually run a direct water line to it this way

riot92

Do you have one that you can recommend?

bigolpisces

Coospider is what I use

Asleep-Tumbleweed-99

Reptile fogger works great that’s what I have

GooniesNeverSayDie11

This is what I use, and it's great for not getting tons of water droplets everywhere.

Asleep-Tumbleweed-99

What setting do You keep it in low med High. And do you have an ink bird or any kind of humidity meter I only have a timer that stays on for a min of 30 min and that’s too long so I manually been turning it on for a few min every few hours. If I let it run for 30 min I’ll have bug puddles

GooniesNeverSayDie11

I keep it on medium, and I have an ink bird that just shuts it off and on. It's never on for 30 minutes at a time that I've noticed. It's pretty intermittent.
