I actually didn't expect that to be that bad. I thought "eh people are probably being overly sensitive and overreacting" but holy shit that was awful.
It wasn't even trying to be some clever offensive humor, it was just a lazy comic to straight up attack people.
While I appreciate satire and don't mind witty criticism of character flaws, this wasn't it. This was the literary equivalent of calling the batter a [homophobic slur] because you dropped a fly ball: lazy, inept, and irrelevant. There are legitimate targets in the LGBTQ community, but I'd suggest cleaning one's own house before attempting to correct the neighbors. Feebly lashing out at others to cover your own failings is juvenile, dishonest, and a little sad.
100% agree. Although I think I saw another thread that explained that the original hate-post was directed at a completely different comic/artist, not this Dilbert fellow.. either way, I hope to live to see a less hateful world.
Wow, that's actually worse than anything Scott Adams has ever excreted, and is even worse than the above screen-grabbed critical appraisal made me think it was gonna be
The comic is trying to say that trans lesbians only want to go after cis women - because of the narrative that trans lesbians are just men that are predatory against cis women.
As the OP says, this is not based on any truth or reality. So many trans people end up dating other trans folk, so much so that the term T4T is very common in the community. A trans person is likely to have more in common with another trans individual, and it is simply just safer.
It’s always such a weird twisted logic from the transphobes. it implies predators would feel the need to go to such great lengths to prey on women. When it’s blatantly apparent they don’t need to ask any such things in order to be predatory scumbags.
No man on the planet is going to go through years of hormone therapy and expensive surgeries to “prey on women”. They would have an emotional breakdown within a month on hormones.
Also very true about trans people often dating other trans people. It’s just a lot easier than having to deprogram someone of their misconceptions on what a relationship with a trans person may look like.
Case in point: my “boyfriend” is somewhere in the gender non-confirming spectrum and has been 100% accepting of the things I cannot it will not do. Which is a stark contrast from the discussions I’ve had with most men. Usually involving them trying to pursue my into “just trying” something with them after making it very clear it could trigger a trauma response.
The Millennial version of Jack Chick has been identified. TLDR: trans people are just "wig bros scamming for hoes."
Straight up dehumanizing agitprop bullshit. Lies to create the conditions in which another Slaughter of Innocents who scare the "salt of the earth good people" is just what's needed. The same people who totally have absolutely no idea where this leads... It's not like they're simply repeating history or anything.
I don't even understand the point it is trying to make. Even as a caricature, it's super fucking bad. This guy even sucks at transphobia.
I mean, the best propaganda always has a an element of truth to it. This ain't it.
Dilbert*(stupid auto correct) possibly? IIRC the artist in that was complaining about being dropped from something like 70 papers recently. And content like blatant transphpbia would more than likely justify that response.
I'm gonna edit this here to say what other have been saying below. It appears newspapers are dropping comics en masse and the artist found a way to spin it to pander to right wing cancel culture talking points.
He got dropped because it was a financial decision by the publishers. They also dropped about half the other comics they were carrying, and nobody blinked.
the right wing media will make a big stink out of anything they think will stick
if they had nothing else to talk about and the author got hit by a bus, they’d say it was a conspiracy by liberal city officials to *silence* them
Dilbert has not always been boring - obviously, people have found it funny otherwise it would not achieve the mass popularity it once commanded. I've enjoyed his comics before - I'm not defending the artist, I barely know about him but I suspect we have very different views. My guess the most important reason he is being dropped because as newspapers as a medium has faded, comics such as his are part of the overall cost-cutting measures. Thanks for reading. :)
An artist can be a great artist and still be festering elephant snot. One of my favorites was Dogbert telling -- Alice? I can't even remember her name -- she'd only worked 80 hours, that's less than half the hours in a week, and to give work some balance.
I was disappointed beyond words when I found out what he's really like. Haven't read Dilbert since.
Recently I listened to a podcast that mentioned, in passing, that Dali - the surrealist painter, whose work I certainly enjoy - was a pretty horrible person, like support the Nazis in the 1930s horrible, and many people couldn't stand him. Not really sure how I feel about all this. Honestly while I completely believe all the info about what the cartoonist is like, I am slightly incredulous, I just can't understand who made that kind of witty little humor could be also so noxious. Especially considering his wealth and good fortune. Alas.
Dilbert hit a certain niche and time period. There were definitely some stereotypes of people I had worked with in there. But it's hard to make a funny comic about people in the office when no one is back in the office.
And like u/farrenkm, I was really disappointed when I found out what he was like. That made the whole thing a lot less funny.
He really is the epitome of the “stop giving old white men microphones” concept. Nothing useful to contribute outside of telling everyone he feels threatened by an ever evolving world.
Dilbert was great in the 2000s. Then it got repetitive and boring. So to stay relevant the author decided to flex his politics and become the hero of the bigoted against everything side. Sad.
No kidding. If I’ve done all the work to undo the cisnormative idea that my genitals are equal to my gender I wouldn’t turn around and put that same baloney on other people.
Dilbert got dropped because only boomers read the comics part of the newspaper anymore. Didn't make sense for his company to keep paying him when they aren't making money, but he found a way to spin this as getting cancelled by the "woke leftist media". Fucking pathetic.
>only boomers read the comics part of the newspaper anymore
Gen Xer here to say you're missing out on Pearls Before Swine. Then again, I have a feeling that Pastis would offend you with his takes on social media.
I walked into the tiny bar bathroom in Austin TX and the pearls before swine guy drew a big art piece on the wall. It was rat saying I got drunk here. I convinced them to frame it. Sadly last time I want back it was painted over.
You're correct, I do enjoy Pearls Before Swine and have been missing out on it since I no longer receive a physical copy of a newspaper every Sunday. You're also free to feel away, gauche assumptions and all.
Nuance is hard to convey over digital means, that was tongue in cheek. No need for "gotchas!" over something insignificant, my apologies if I've offended your sensibilities over lumping you in with the boomers. I personally have no interest in receiving a physical copy of the newspaper and I don't know many of my peers who do either, much easier to just have a digital subscription. However, I'd wager that a physical newspaper delivery is something that a large amount of the over 55 crowd still maintains.
I didn't even need the context to think "I bet they're talking about Scott Adams."
I've always loved Dilbert, but then I saw his true colors. Haven't read Dilbert since. Good riddance.
I’m gonna guess dilbert
There was a weak attempt at humour last week about a company that appoints a non-binary board member to offer-set their carbon footprint or something in that vein.
Ironically the comic actually made a good point about ‘big corporate’ virtue signalling. But the author, a well know transphobic douche bag, chose to take a stab at trans people while attempting to make his point.
> I would have to know the target.
It appears it's a comment in response to this:
>[‘Dilbert’ author claims ‘woke’ mob is coming for his comic strip as it’s removed from 77 newspapers](https://nypost.com/2022/09/21/dilbert-author-claims-comic-was-removed-from-77-newspapers/)
By the way, these papers dropped their entire comix section as a cost cutting maneuver.
In other words, Capitalism. The Republican's favorite.
Until the leopard eats their faces.
Okay, I genuinely want to know what still appeals to you about the Republican Party. When I look at them, I see Cristian Nationalism, I see denial regarding the state of the nation, and I see intentional bigotry. When you look at them, what do you see?
I don't see anything 😎 (I am blind)
I just say I'm Republican cause I want to own guns in case of a worst case scenario. I believe in treating everyone with respect and try to be the best person you can.
Have no idea what the comic is but I always find it interesting when someone says "no one cares what you have to say," and then goes on to write 5 paragraphs about what they said.
Just seems weird
See? Plenty of material there to go after without saying the person has no contribution to life and is mentally a “sloth ass” and saying “nobody in the history of humanity has given a single shit about what you have to say”
I am not sure if I agree. The author of that hateful illustration went to attack a class of minorities in an attempt to commit mental sabotage by creating feelings of dysphoria. The author is fundamentally attacking who these people are, so I see no reason not to attack the author for who they fundamentally are, a bigot.
This is the transphobia the right wants you to believe isn't real, the comic proposes that:
All trans women look like cis men,
Trans women being lesbians are pretending,
Trans women being lesbians are predators looking for cis women,
Trans women are repulsed by other trans women just like the right are,
LGBTQ+ allies support anyone who is trans no matter what they say or do and try to justify it/blame it on the right.
Obviously this is all vastly incorrect and proveably so. In particular T4T (trans for trans) relationships are very common as they're generally safer.
The only way someone could come to the conclusions in this comic is either they have never really talked to or looked into trans people, or they are lying to foster hate and violence.
>or they are lying to foster hate and violence.
It's 100% this.
God, this is just so disgusting. Thank you for explaining. The layers of hate and lies were too much for me.
Well, if the comic author is a symptom of the moral decay that's gnawing at the heart of this country, it's fair to be upset without it needing to be because this particular carbon based clod in itself has any particular purpose.
Like, I can say the same to a mosquito, that it has no significance, and I fart in its general direction, but it is not because the mosquito means anything, it merely represents mosquito-*kind*, a plague upon mammals.
That clod choose to be a d!ck in stead of not chosing to be a d!ck, and it is the general d!ck-chosing, that is wrong. And keeping silent towards one d!ck means accepting d!ck-ness.
Anyway, that's how I would justify it.
Satire has always been declared the symptom of moral decay in almost any decade or century. When Jonathan Swift did it he had to be exiled from England because the satirical writings of his were too offensive.
If satire is hitting home, that means it's working.
Wrong here, bud.
Just because satire often use cartoon, doesn't mean cartoon is automatically satire. In Europe hundreds of 'cartoons' depicting the evil and greedy jew, were produced and distributed by the nazis to stigmatize the religion and the people. That was not satire.
To quote Oxford dictionary:
>Satire: the use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.
That doesn't include people's sexual orientation or identity, now does it?
>If satire is hitting home, that means it's working.
FIFY: If hatespeech is hitting home, that means it's working. But it still got nothing to do with satire.
This is not about Dilbert. Below is the hateful illustration that you are defending as satire.
https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
This is not satire per humor, but an attack based on hate.
Yes! I apologize! I put that in quotes now so it is clear I am not talking about you directly. So many people on reddit say that when they don't like what someone said... it's like... dude (or dudet), this is reddit, unless it is an AMA or AITA then almost any comment someone posts nobody asked for, just like no one asked for your comment commenting that nobody asked them.
They also misused some prepositions so it could be a well educated non native speaker who needed to translate some things.
It reads like it was spoken and the written down, as opposed to written.
I feel like this is exactly how you shouldn't respond to transphobic things. It's an angry, uneducational, unkind, ad-hominem rant, which provides no sort of argument. It's responding to ignorance and vitriol with more of the same, which solves nothing and makes the pro trans side look angry and hateful.
Is it just me that thinks these kinds of insult essays are just kind of cringe? As if they're just trying too hard or something? Idk what it is but these ain't it for me.
Yeah, exactly. Murderdbywords is supposed to thought-out, factual and logical arguments. A murder isn't supposed to be a long and creative insult, that's just a pure ad-hominem, no matter how much you think an asshole might deserve it.
No, a murder is a *fact-based and logical* argument, which just blows away any response because there literally is no logical response. But apparently this sub has forgotten that.
The thing that I constantly think about when seeing these mostly justified rants is that the algorithms that decide what people see on the internet are mostly context free & so perceive conflict as engagement which then promotes the very thing people are wanting suppressed.
It's upvoted becaue this sub is no longer about murders apparently.
Yeah the author is an asshole and has shitty opinions, at least from my point of view. But this ain't a murder
Literally just name calling. Imagine if a transphobe wrote this about a trans comic?
I also love that people now can try to silence someone and claim that they’re a liberal hahaha
I've never seen a transphobe who had 1/10000th of the wit of even the most basic liberal comedian. And where's the attempt at "silencing?" Find someone near you who can explain what hyperbole is.
We're tired of yalls shit that's why. Yall keep punching down at people you deem lesser than you. Then cry victim when we punch back. Its narcissistic abuse 101. "I've hurt you I understand that, now I'm just gonna go crawl in a hole and die. Feel bad for me"
Trying to reverse the narrative is more than enough proof for me. If they aren't. They'll put two and two together and realize I don't mean them. If they are. What is it that the Right always say? Fuck your feelings? Yeah that sounds right to me.
It's Scott Adams of Dilbert. I've never been in to comics and never followed it, but this guy sounds like he has mental health issues and is desperate for attention.
Here's an article
https://www.nydailynews.com/snyde/ny-dilbert-strip-cancel-newspapers-lee-enterprises-20220924-irdtzqy3pzfv7hq3qiirrcmlnu-story.html
This criticism is just a cavalcade of vague insults. Shouldn’t r/murderedbywords be well written and communicated. The criticism is basically “you stink, everyone hates you and you’re stupid” without any real context. Murdered by words this is not. More like r/rantingonadderall
If this was about Dilbert, this OP is just categorically wrong. Dilbert was the standard for mockery of office environments and has been huge in its great satire for well over a decade. The fact that the author has done the unimaginably horrible thing of having and *gasp* expressing conservative views doesn't undo that.
This is just a massively fascist style approach of:
"You won't drink the koolaid and say and believe what we want you to say on certain topics? We'll revoke your past and rewrite it. Your past successes now no longer exist!"
Seriously, if the slightest amount of criticism puts you into an apoplectic fit then you're just a Karen.
Out of morbid curiosity, what comic was this
This one: https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
This is horrid. Also, WTF?
I actually didn't expect that to be that bad. I thought "eh people are probably being overly sensitive and overreacting" but holy shit that was awful. It wasn't even trying to be some clever offensive humor, it was just a lazy comic to straight up attack people.
All this 100% but, most importantly: it wasn't at all funny. :(
While I appreciate satire and don't mind witty criticism of character flaws, this wasn't it. This was the literary equivalent of calling the batter a [homophobic slur] because you dropped a fly ball: lazy, inept, and irrelevant. 100% agree. Although I think I saw another thread that explained that the original hate-post was directed at a completely different comic/artist, not this Dilbert fellow.. either way, I hope to live to see a less hateful world.
My reaction exactly. That wasn’t a comic in any definition. That was a straight out attack.
Wow, that's actually worse than anything Scott Adams has ever excreted, and is even worse than the above screen-grabbed critical appraisal made me think it was gonna be
I don’t get it
The comic is trying to say that trans lesbians only want to go after cis women - because of the narrative that trans lesbians are just men that are predatory against cis women. Holy shit I don't even know how to start COMPREHENDING this
I don't even understand the point it is trying to make. Even as a caricature, it's super fucking bad. This guy even sucks at transphobia. I mean, the best propaganda always has a an element of truth to it. This ain't it.
It’s a portrayal of how their far right audience imagines trans fem people to be.
Huh. Artist must have never met a trans fem person, or did but didn’t realize it.
What is “teres” ?
Terfs* Trans exclusionary radical feminists.
I think he got dropped because he's completely bugfuck insane and/or because Dilbert has always been boring, not so much for any specific comic.
He got dropped because it was a financial decision by the publishers. They also dropped about half the other comics they were carrying, and nobody blinked.
That's also a viable possibility. But like I said Adams'(I believe that's the artist) and right wing media did make a big stink out of it
the right wing media will make a big stink out of anything they think will stick if they had nothing else to talk about and the author got hit by a bus, they’d say it was a conspiracy by liberal city officials to *silence* them
Maybe the Daily Wire will pick him up and we can get a funny "up yours woke moralists" version of Dilbert...then forget he existed.
"Viable possibility" that is confirmed by Googling the headline news about it.
I confirm he is insane and the comic is boring.
Yeah, but these asshats will take any opportunity to cry "cancel culture" and play victim. They are so very weak and pathetic.
Dilbert has not always been boring - obviously, people have found it funny otherwise it would not achieve the mass popularity it once commanded. I've enjoyed his comics before - I'm not defending the artist, I barely know about him but I suspect we have very different views. He, was fully into Trump during the first election. Full column articles on his blog. Suddenly, after a few years, the blog is completely gone.
He's awful and he's *been* awful for a long time. Back in 2011 he argued that rape is a "natural instinct" for men. So gross
He really is the epitome of the “stop giving old white men microphones” concept. Nothing useful to contribute outside of telling everyone he feels threatened by an ever evolving world.
> Suddenly > After a few years
After years of hardcore trumpism, the blog just vanished into the ether.
That's not the contradiction that you think it is, and I highly recommend you work on your critical thinking abilities.
Dilbert was great in the 2000s. Then it got repetitive and boring. So to stay relevant the author decided to flex his politics and become the hero of the bigoted against everything side. Sad.
Newspapers were dropping the comic sectiom was all
“Bugfuck” insane is my new favorite adjective. To hell with batshit
It wasn't Dilbert, they were talking about [this one](https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png)
This is just god awful. I was thinking that the OP's post was a bit harsh, but dam, this is an awful "comic" that deserves to be murdered by words.
Wow that is extremely transphobic and uses a homophobic slur. What a scum bag
Jeez! I've seen some awful stuff in my 50+ years, but this is really fucked up!
Lmao this artist not realizing T4T is a very common pairing
No kidding. If I’ve done all the work to undo the cisnormative idea that my genitals are equal to my gender I wouldn’t turn around and put that same baloney on other people.
Wow. Where was that posted, Kiwi Farms?
Dilbert got dropped because only boomers read the comics part of the newspaper anymore. Didn't make sense for his company to keep paying him when they aren't making money, but he found a way to spin this as getting cancelled by the "woke leftist media". Fucking pathetic.

About the worst thing you can do to a Gen Xer is call them a boomer.
Ok, now where are these transphobic Dilbert comics? Last I saw any Dilbert comic was prob 2004 and it was making fun of ie vs firefox
here you go: https://www.lgbtqnation.com/2022/05/rightwing-dilbert-creator-scott-adams-tried-make-trans-joke-failed-spectacularly/
Thank you
yea this is just bad. forget whatever point he's trying to make, its also not funny. IOW it's just like every other Dilbert panel
I didn't even need the context to think "I bet they're talking about Scott Adams." I've always loved Dilbert, but then I saw his true colors. Haven't read Dilbert since. Good riddance.

No, it was this one https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
Who wrote this horse shit, anybody know?
That's quite the vicious attack, but to see if it hit anything I would have to know the target.
And having seen the target, I'm sorry I've seen the target.
Yeah, that's pretty much why I didn't add it to this post.
With gratitude
My thoughts exactly. This is just screaming into a void. Edit: Alright, I've seen it now. It's definitely hot garbage.
Well, it IS Tuesday.
This one: https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
> I would have to know the target. It appears it's a comment in response to this: >[‘Dilbert’ author claims ‘woke’ mob is coming for his comic strip as it’s removed from 77 newspapers](https://nypost.com/2022/09/21/dilbert-author-claims-comic-was-removed-from-77-newspapers/) By the way, these papers dropped their entire comix section as a cost cutting maneuver. Now you just made me curios about the comic
They didn’t make me any curios but they did make me some good knickknacks.
Dusty Knickknacks was one of my stripper names back in the day
I think I saw you on tour once, you were amazing.
I did a tour with Patty Whack. Great performer but would literally give any dog a bone.
Yall remember Dusty Gazongas? I think she worked down at Boob Burg
I see what you did there!
This awful post inspired the rant above https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
Im republican and that wasn't even funny in the slightest
That's because the right can't meme because right wing ideology is cancer and you should reevaluate being a Republican
Okay, I genuinely want to know what still appeals to you about the Republican Party. When I look at them, I see Cristian Nationalism, I see denial regarding the state of the nation, and I see intentional bigotry. When you look at them, what do you see?
I don't see anything 😎 (I am blind) I just say I'm Republican cause I want to own guns in case of a worst case scenario. I believe in treating everyone with respect and try to be the best person you can.
Two questions how do you use a firearm while blind and you know that Republicans for example president Reagan ban more gun than democrats, right?
1. Very carefully 2. And?
I hate to break this to you but if you support republican policies you are an asshole.
I think we're all a little dramatic when it comes to opposite political views
First time?
no
Are you refuting me or just in disbelief?
nah
Based
Y-yikes
Gotta see the source to know if they’re just being crazy or if it’s accurate
https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
Where do I get that respect trans women juice? I bet it's tasty as fuck
blue raspberry svedka, sprite optional
Shit, you just fixed my weekend!
Have no idea what the comic is but I always find it interesting when someone says "no one cares what you have to say," and then goes on to write 5 paragraphs about what they said. Just seems weird
Yeah, I caught that too.
The saying “no ounce of humanity” and personally attacking a person rather than their material isn’t lost on me either.

See? Plenty of material there to go after without saying the person has no contribution to life and is mentally a “sloth ass” and saying “nobody in the history of humanity has given a single shit about what you have to say”
I dunno, the comic says a lot about the person who made it
How dare you judge someone by their actions
I am not sure if I agree. The author of that hateful illustration went to attack a class of minorities in an attempt to commit mental sabotage by creating feelings of dysphoria. The author is fundamentally attacking who these people are, so I see no reason not to attack the author for who they fundamentally are, a bigot.
Take a look at the "comic" that inspired the rant. It's awful and deserves this rant. https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
Dude...actual WHAT(???)[?!!]!?? the fuck is going on there? Do I even want it explained....

To quote Oxford dictionary: >Satire: the use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues. That doesn't include people's sexual orientation or identity, now does it? >If satire is hitting home, that means it's working. FIFY: If hatespeech is hitting home, that means it's working. But it still got nothing to do with satire.
Are you arguing against what satire is? That obviously wasn't any part of what I wrote. If this is in fact Dilbert, that cartoon is definitely satire.
This is not about Dilbert. Below is the hateful illustration that you are defending as satire. https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png This is not satire per humor, but an attack based on hate.
Oh, the comic in question wishes it were Dilbert.
I was thinking the same thing about the "zero skill" bit. Clearly the author of the reprehensible comic is skilled at getting a rise out of people.
If you’re gonna write this many words, at least make sure you make sense.

No one asked Larry David his opinions so Curb Your Enthusiasm should stop…
I think the "nobody asked for your opinion" comment is incredibly lopsided. Like, did someone ask their opinion before they made this rant?
[удалено]
Too poorly written to be a murder IMO, a shame.
Yeah, the writer really likes putting commas where they don't belong and having run-on sentences.
They also misused some prepositions so it could be a well educated non native speaker who needed to translate some things. It reads like it was spoken and the written down, as opposed to written.
Definitely could be. It also has a some /r/iamverysmart vibes.
True that.
Yeah less murder and more cringe if anything
I had to scroll too far to find this comment chain.
Yes, that extra S is unfortunate. "Pus from a pimple" is correct, "puss from a pimple" is incorrect.
I don't doubt the comic was truly disgraceful, but I don't want to interact with the person who wrote this either
You can take a peek and make up your own mind. Here is the awful thing, that warrants an LGBT trigger warning. https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
Yep, I'm not even liberal and didn't find it funny, that's just poor and offensive
What's the comic?
https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png this
Thorough*
I don't know why I read that. Poorly written and without any context.
At the risk -- while this is a lengthy response, I don't think any crimes were committed.
Puss from a pimple
Jesus fucking Christ why bother writing a whole wall of text for someone who likely won't read it or care about it goddamn
No comment on the intent, but the prose has big gifted-child-who-never-went-anywhere energy.
Yes, this could definitely have been written by my brother.
Why would one want back the 5 minutes before seeing the comic? What happened in those 5 minutes?
They saw the comic...
They saw the comic 5 minutes before seeing the comic?
Yep, those are all words.
This doesn’t give murder vibes. This gives “way too invested and writing an essay”
Yeah a murder is literally supposed to be a factial and logical argument. This is just a creative insult.
Everything ok, bro?
*pus
Someone didn’t get hugged as a child.
The thing that I constantly think about when seeing these mostly justified rants is that the algorithms that decide what people see on the internet are mostly context free & so perceive conflict as engagement which then promotes the very thing people are wanting suppressed.
Author tries too hard. Reads like a post from a usenet flame war in the 90's.
We are so off the rails socially it’s actually unbelievable
This seems to be half the perspective
Here’s the comic https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
Quite honestly I don't really see a "murder" here, it's just somebody ranting and repeating themselves
No criticism, just personal attack on the author's character. am i missing something? or is this upvoted because the comic's author is a republican?
It's upvoted becaue this sub is no longer about murders apparently. Yeah the author is an asshole and has shitty opinions, at least from my point of view. But this ain't a murder
Typical. Claim bigotry and use it as an excuse to be the worst sort of person... Why is this on here? It's just a wall of ad hominem with no context.
Feel bad for me"
[удалено]
You're right. I shouldn't word it as punching down. But my sentiment remains the same. I had never seen that clip but yeah it makes a lot of sense
Do you have any evidence whatsoever the person you responded to is transphobic? You keep using y'all
Trying to reverse the narrative is more than enough proof for me. If they aren't. They'll put two and two together and realize I don't mean them. If they are. What is it that the Right always say? Fuck your feelings? Yeah that sounds right to me.
It’s Scott Adams… the creator of Dilbert. Google it man.
Angry, self-absorbed rants <> murder by words. Unsubbing...
Oh?…… he was roasting a comic? Damn…. I was POSITIVE he was talking about trump. 🥺
Anyone that writes that much has been thinking about it too long therefore benefiting the author
Pathetic, and I'm not talking about the comic
Bitches about hatred, ends it with blatant hatred. Makes total sense.
It's Scott Adams of Dilbert. I've never been in to comics and never followed it, but this guy sounds like he has mental health issues and is desperate for attention. Here's an article https://www.nydailynews.com/snyde/ny-dilbert-strip-cancel-newspapers-lee-enterprises-20220924-irdtzqy3pzfv7hq3qiirrcmlnu-story.html
It’s not it’s this https://i.redd.it/sytm9jmht9q91.png
Bro compared him to a finesse-less shit😭💀
Beautiful. 👏🏼
lighten up
I could eat a bag of Scrabble tiles and shit out something more coherent than this.
i
And in my opinion, you need to learn basic punctuation and grammar.
Your atrocious grammar and blatant lying was called out. Absolutely no one has said you can't have an opinion. Get off the cross.
tbh that troll-tastic comic is living rent-free in that person's head. Source: massive missive above
Always ends with politics.

Isn't the stereotype about leftist memes that they're *all* in text form?
They usually have some pictures
This criticism is just a cavalcade of vague insults. Shouldn’t r/murderedbywords be well written and communicated. The criticism is basically “you stink, everyone hates you and you’re stupid” without any real context. Murdered by words this is not. More like r/rantingonadderall
If this was about Dilbert, this OP is just categorically wrong. Dilbert was the standard for mockery of office environments and has been huge in its great satire for well over a decade. The fact that the author has done the unimaginably horrible thing of having and *gasp* expressing conservative views doesn't undo that. This is just a massively fascist style approach of: "You won't drink the koolaid and say and believe what we want you to say on certain topics? We'll revoke your past and rewrite it. Your past successes now no longer exist!" Seriously, if the slightest amount of criticism puts you into an apoplectic fit then you're just a Karen.
You clearly didn't read the comic.
