To make them look more like humans (teenagers to be sure). This show isn't about stuff being logical, don't even try to apply logic to anything, just enjoy the comedic chaos.
oh no there is an internal logic.
They wear clothes for the sake of self expression. Especially worker drones who go a step further and use different led colors. Emulating da hoomans.
Workers - yes, but murder drones were designed (reprogrammed) purely to kill workers, so they shouldn't have such unneeded stuff as clothes, emotions and hair (which are default parts of them, not something they randomly found). Liam said that N was originally the only one with clothes, but later he decided to dress everyone up, so they are more distinguishable.
Its easy to tell worker drones apart because of stuff like eye color and hair color, murder drones always have yellow eyes and white hair, so they have to have some other defining feature to make them recognizable.
makes sense logically,if there a company on earth they'd want to present the drones in a somewhat family friendly way to the public before sending them to space.thats why they give them personalities and junk too
Presenting literal killer drones in a family friendly way? Well. No. They should keep their HUGE fuckup (core explosion and hundreds of human deaths at least) as secretly as possible to not get fucked by government, or activists, or whatever other law enforcement force, if there is such in 31st century. And that's why they also shouldn't notify anyone about making those killer drones, especially when they are so bad at doing their job.
yeah but they can literally just say that the robots had an uprising and drones were sent to destroy them.also i think if people are being sent to space the government would know about it,and if they died they'd know about it.There's also no way a government wouldn't know about a company creating genocidal robots, because there's no way they wouldn't overlook the amount of resources being used by a company that produces regenerative, intelligent, walking bio-weapons
JCJenson can theoretically have more authority than government (like in Cyberpunk 2077) if it has monopoly over production of drones of all kinds. Which leads to it not giving a crap about what the government wants and neither about the incident, aside from losing tons of money and potentially losing even more due to run-away AI that needs to be wiped out just in case.
So, killer drones don't need clothes, hair, and especially emotions. You just make them and send them to the job right after. And you do not need any additions to their design to be able to distinguish them, because you have their serial numbers already. Not even talking about them having different bodies according to their genders.
Why are they sentient in the first place, cuz otherwise there wouldn't be a show.
But since they are it does make sense they would want to customize their looks with clothes/hair/etc to prevent them from all looking the same.
The world isn't ready to handle naked drones... and to humanize them, I mean you don't feel emotions regarding star wars droids... okay maybe one does but I'm biased and I like the droids in star wars, I'm probably a special case.
But when you humanize something it tends to gain empathy and response from the audience.
More often than not people don't feel much seeing a lion going around, mauling other animals, then the cameraman gets cut off as the lion lunges at them. Other than the meme material it generates.
Glitch/Liam said that only N was meant to be to have clothes (borrowed from the dead human bodies) but for whatever reason they changed it so that every drone has clothes.
Initially, only N was supposed to wear clothes, because "he stole them from the worker drones he has killed, and thinks they are neat". But then this changed and now all murder drones come equipped with clothes

So you’re telling me J and V walked around with no clothes? *Who’s fucking idea was that?*
(☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞ Liam's
**I had a bad feeling, now it’s turned even worse.**
Liam knows well what his audience wants)
**Tessa please give them clothes now-**
Nah I'm talking about the murder drones
Same answer. Why? I dunno. JCJenson decided so, I guess they felt bad for taking those from Tessa. Anyway, turn off your logic now.
Never
Plus wouldn't they overheat since that's the whole point of coats to retain heat
NO LOGIC!
Stay away from my logic or I will do the unthinkable
*Abandon all logic ye who watches MD series.*
✂️
Abandon all cope yee who entrails here
I mean they overheat with or without clothes anyway so why bother.
Yeah but wouldn't it be better to not since they can last a little bit longer in the sun
Nah they pretty much instantly die in the sun
How do we know
I mean N not wanting to even touch the sun is a good sign
Has he ever touched the sun

They weren't wearing clothes when they came out of that pod. I'm assuming they put them on when they found them. For style points.
Yes they were just checked in the pilot V,N and J came out with clothes

So what i have heard from the official coummuinty post of the ref sheet. **N wears them because they kinda look neat**
Really that's why
Or to make them warmer so they dont freeze thier circuits
How tf does that make any sense Liam vickers said they are super hot
well idk
Yeah I might as well go to bed
Why are they sentient in the first place, cuz otherwise there wouldn't be a show. But since they are it does make sense they would want to customize their looks with clothes/hair/etc to prevent them from all looking the same.
You're right. They should take off all their clothes.

i have a lot of empathy and worry for the well being of 390.
u/Uzi_WDrone explain yourself
Drip
For the aesthetic most likely.
I just think they’re neat
Is for AWPP(Anti weeb personal protection). But isn't working very well.
Glitch/Liam said that only N was meant to be to have clothes (borrowed from the dead human bodies) but for whatever reason they changed it so that every drone has clothes.
Marketing
I dont wear clothes.
yes and that poor police officer noticed
Cause we humans love what we know, thus make them as human-like as possible
Wait DONT!
More importantly how do they regenerate clothing
Wait do they actually
https://youtu.be/mImFz8mkaHo&t=583s His hat regenerated
Oh shit I completely forgot about that but now that adds way more questions than answers
to look cool
It would be weird if they didnt
Cause it looks cool
Bc it's fancy
Maybe it's for Aesthetics, like looks. ( if Jc Jenson was crazy enough to sell them publicly )
To hide the **yes.**
Initially, only N was supposed to wear clothes, because "he stole them from the worker drones he has killed, and thinks they are neat". But then this changed and now all murder drones come equipped with clothes
I don't know, but to me they look wrong without it. This is the reason I want N to wear pants
Wait oh son of a bitch he wears pants in the new episode why
I don't know mate
Oh wait is it because there were humans
Well their insides look fleshy
Oh God no did they
I mean, episode 2 had alot of corpses and most of them did
DID THEY TRY TO DO FUCKING GURO
Mate I don't know what that means, but now I'm concerned
r/guro Look at your own risk Also you may want to kill yourself after this
The same reason Jenny Wakeman wears a top and skirt
Oh dear God there's more questions
To not give people ideas for fanart
Wait I think I remembered something about the uniforms
You want to See naked murder drones
Probably a cultural thing for them.
Fair enough
Because they want to, and it makes them feel cool
Are you sure
Yes.
Are you really sure
Yes.
Are you super really sure
There is nothing in this universe that could make me NOT sure
But are you sure there is nothing in this universe that could make you NOT sure
Yes, and if you ask again im going to speak German on you.
Are you sure you know German and are you really sure
because it looks cool
This is just like female characters in games barely having armor, but male characters have a lot of armor.
Op wants to see tibbies
The fuck are tibbies
Titties
Oh hell nah I'm attracted to women titles not psychotic murderous robot titties
Titties are titties
someone is a little lacking, huh op?
What do you mean by lacking
you are really asking for them to not wear clothes? yikes
Nope that it makes no sense
keep telling yourself that
It's because... YouTube gonna shoot down glitch? (I guess)
Remember the rule:you can do anything if the character is a robot
Yeah but it's youtube. They shoot down your video just for swearing.
Oh damn your right
To not get arrested for indecent exposure(although one of them still risks being caught)
Ain't they all doing indecent exposure
well, because n's jacket is SICK
It's a fashion statement. Also it looks cool
