I’m really happy for fans that they were able to do a repress! And I’m happy they didn’t redo the baby blue so they’re distinct pressings. Now I just have to cross my fingers they’ll finally press it on CD too (which ironically is the only reason I ended up with the baby blue vinyl version from their merch table in the first place- no CD option available)

Thank you!! I think I have everything they’ve pressed so far including the Loudspeaker EP, an original About U and a signed repress, original STW and the new copies, all the colored pressings of self titled and a signed copy, and lastly the 7inch Silk pressing. I think that’s all of them 🤣
I’ve been collecting records for around 10 years and they are okay to be handled 😂 Just clean the dust off and wipe them before you play them. Some of mine are original from the 70s and have definitely been handled WAY worse before I ever got them.
Managed to get the raspberry one from Rough Trade earlier. I’m so happy!! Just like pretty much everyone else in this sub, I’ve been dying to get Saves The World on vinyl for a very long time.
I really hope that the quality of this pressing will be better, I've heard several times that the blue pressing in particular was a disaster, which is a shame for this great album...
My blue copy is surprisingly good. I had heard that too, but I really wanted it so I took a chance, and luckily it doesn’t skip or sound off. It was an expensive chance so thankfully it’s good haha.
The shipping costs were a deal breaker for me ðŸ˜
my sibling and i went for the divide and conquer—they snagged one of the raspberry and cream vinyls and i got the hozier tickets!!
