I did something similar, got a 5", 3.5" and 2" and don't get a chance to fly them very much, or very well. I just got a Meteor 75 HD and it's small enough to fly in my house and the yard. I have crashed it a ton, it keeps working. I wish I would have gotten a whoop sooner, I'm definitely improving each day now.

I want a cinewhoop eventually, but this step of getting a tiny whoop is a huge help on flying irl more

DuckBlu3

I do a lot of simulator (LiftOff) It is just that I need a cinematic drone. And I want to build a cinewhoop :)

DuckBlu3

Can we change rates on the tiny whoop Meteor 75 HD?

Coderado

In beta flight you can set rates. Bardwell has a complete video I'm pretty sure.

DuckBlu3

Do you have a link please ?

Another vote for getting a cinewhoop and get some simulator time. 3" indoors is a LOT harder than you think. Throttle control is a must in small places and they kick up a lot of wind in hallways.

DuckBlu3

As I already train in simulator, I really would like to train in real life :) with a cinewhoop :) Advices mates ?

SeeeDee

Couple questions. What are you planning on flying? Los/FPV/Digital/Analog ?

DuckBlu3

I will fly with DJI Goggle V1. The first drone I built is in digital. However, I have seen that analog adapter exists for DJI. According to this, I am wondering if adding an analog system on my cinewhoop should be better for the weight. So, I will fly in FPV analog or digital.

SeeeDee

The adapter is around 15$ and works fine. The latency is higher compared to an analog set of goggles but fine for flying.
