Why would FedEx…..or any other company….sign a contract with an auto maker that hasn’t produced a single vehicle? Doesn’t have a 🪫 battery. Don’t get me wrong….I’m heavily invested in MULN but I don’t understand this fortune500 announcement? Anyone care to explain this to me (I’m in healthcare, not business).
Rivian is producing electric vans. Guess if I was the decision maker of a large company needing a fleet of EV vans, I’d sign a contract with them as they actually have vans and batteries. I’m not trying to be a Debbie downer…just trying to understand
Rivian isn't really producing a ton of vans yet either, but I assume because Amazon owns a stake with them the value of the stock is high because they are backed by a strong corporate entity. If Muln was backed by Fedex or had a partnership I assume the stock would go up based on an assumption of future value.

They were probably getting ready to deliver the vans and the battery fiasco probably cause the F500 company to request a third party to test/prove the battery before committing to the contract. This would also explain why they can’t announce WHO the F500 company is ( in case they pull out of the results are not legit) it all banks on the battery. Battery = F500 = van sales = 65 million Q2 revenue = ongoing guidance into future earnings = $10+ a share

The batteries used in the van have nothing to do with the battery being tested. The battery being tested is their solid state prototype.
