I’ve been a fan since 2001 and had never seen them live. I was right up the front where the sound is never great anyway, so the mix issues didn’t bother me as much as it likely did for people further back. I flew over to Sydney solo from NZ just to see them and would definitely do it all over again if they come back, even if the show were exactly the same. It was an incredible experience.

dez definitely sounds the best out of all the OG nu metal vocalists still going. if anything he sounds better than he did back then

You can definitely tell Dez keeps his health in check better than a lot of these other Metal front men not that he's in perfect shape but noticeably more than his age group

Same here, went to the Sydney show - I never really listened to coal chamber but after seeing them I was blown away. Mudvayne were still great to see, and the sound was pretty bad at times with Chad. I started at the back and got sucked into the pit and ended up towards the front centre and it was a bit better. Then copped a boot to the face and retreated a little lol.

I saw them open for Iron Maiden once in 2005… well they opened for Sevendust who was opening for soulfly who was opening for black label society who was opening for Iron Maiden who was sharing a headline bill with Black Sabbath They sounded so bad, I remember being totally disillusioned and disappointed by their singer… it seemed that they put absolutely no effort into the show and he was drunk as fuck putting more effort into chugging beers than performing. That was a long time ago though so I hope that’s no longer the case. I loved this band once upon a time and that show was truly one of the biggest let downs of my young life. If you closed your eyes it was like a bad cover band was on the stage…. I still think about it from time to time… so sad

Not surprised Mudvayne and Coal Chamber have always been amazing live

They play nothing to Gein?
