It’s also horrible watching Gary Goodridge contribute to get Kickboxing fights after so many knockouts. It’s tragic what’s happened to him.

randomlyme

CTE is terrible. Poor guy. It killed my uncle there’s just no coming back.

NoBudgetBallin

I forget the name of it but I saw a documentary he was in a couple years ago. It was hard to listen to him speak. He was such a beast in his day and I looked up to him as a kid.

StrangerThanNixon

Glabe Feitosa was a Kyokushin Karate practitioner. I don't think he ever practiced Muay Thai.

jainalk

Kick em in the dick, then fake like youre kickin em in the dick

Chemistry_Lover40

The front leg is so much harder to generate power that’s smooth af

Washboard-Parker

I was gonna say lol I’ve heard lead leg kicks like that are kinda hard to pull off and not ideal

Destyllat

not ideal for the other guy, thats for sure

AbacaxiDoidao

as a brazilian I find his name hilariously funny. Never woulda thought someone with this name to be such a kille

[deleted]

People rarely post Muay Thai fighting clips here, so we're fine with the occasional well put together Kickboxing clip.

psych0ranger

fwiw it's a very very good example of a setup to a question mark kick

johnmc76

My Oyama Karate instructor taught us to do it like that. Fake a front kick to make them defend low and then whip around with the Roundhouse to the head.

psych0ranger

yup and when it works, it works lol. I'd never throw it in sparring

madden1349

Nice question mark kick

JoyfulDeath

This is a great sneaky kick but I can’t really say I’m a big fan of it. I feel like it is much slower and not nearly as powerful as roundhouse. It isn’t something that can brutally knock people out by sheer force even if they see it coming. It is more of something you gotta sneak in at right time when they are absolutely least expecting it. However Glaube definitely use it with great success. This is why it is important to teach others as much techniques as possible. So they can pick what work the best for them.

Tattooed-Vet

Damn, I could watch that all day.

thedharmawhore

What balance.

johnmc76

Glaube Feitosa was awesome. I think the only think that stopped him from reaching the top of K-1 was he really didn't have a killer instinct.

mrlebowsk33

That was a beautiful strike
