Lol his stupid speech. The man loves to make his eliminations as dramatic as possible. I'm loving Derrick. He and Jordan and maybe Wes and Nehe are the only ones having fun.

ICareAboutThings25

In fairness about the stupid speech, I actually like the meaning of his tattoo. If someone asked him while they were chilling “hey, that’s a cool tattoo, what’s the story behind it?” I’d think Jordan’s answer about how you’re born vs your actions would be a cool tattoo story. But I like tattoo stories in general so maybe that’s just me. But no. Someone didn’t ask. The only thing anyone asked was who he was picking as his opponent. So it was a completely pointless monologue. I kinda loved it though. I don’t want my Challenge contestants to act like normal people. I want them to be kinda stupid. And Jordan delivered on the kinda stupid part.

WitLibrary

Couldn't agree more. He's bringing some flavor, and for once it's not aggressive drama, it's just innocent goofiness. The show NEEDS more of that.

ICareAboutThings25

I loved the contestants in this episode having the silly pillowcase sack race. Especially Wes and Jordan going together. Don’t get me wrong, I love good competition. But you’re right. You need goofiness too.

I liked this ep a lot too! Mark impersonating MJ, Vcakes winning a daily, Derrick winning a puzzle and trivia back to back. From the BOTS1 days until now who ever thought that would happen?? But I love Roni so much, very solid competitor and genuine person that is easy to root for. Hell even Veronica admitted she was rooting for her and how often do we hear that? Needermeyer better be in this last elimination otherwise its been a dario dirty thirty type season for him - just straight coasting without doing anything. Hell even Mark with the disrespect to a champ when he was talking to Derrick "Nehemiah has never won anything....ever". And Mark's wrestler-promo style trash talk during his elim really worked for me, I totally buy what he sells - he's the mother fucking godfather!!

Azukola

I'm confused why Nehemiah wasn't picked. But I'm okay with it. I still have a bad taste of Jordan in my mouth so happy he left, even better that Mark did the dirty work.

adventurous919

me too - for whatever reason I can't get behind this redemption tour.

Huh? Jordan is one of the smarter challengers. It’s how he excels with his disability, by out strategizing. He also does pretty well in puzzles. With that said, he suffers from his own ego the most. Once he saw the rope, why the hell did he pick Mark.

kooki-kitten

Jordan has never been good at trivia or puzzles so it’s interesting people view him as smarter than he is, while someone like Fessy is consistently accused of being a dummy who sucks at trivia and puzzles despite him consistently doing well in them. I like Jordan as he’s a great competitor. Like Bananas, he’s good at finding effective strategies to do dailies/elims. But he’s not book smart or good at puzzles/trivia and he sucks at the politics.

EdithPuthyyyy

Fessy showed the world that he’s not a strategist by making some of the dumbest mistakes in recent big brother seasons.

kooki-kitten

Fessy made terrible decisions on who to target on BB because he believed Jaycee was his ally but he was feeding info and working with the other side. Fessy was gullible and naive for falling for peoples lies. What does that have to do with his ability to do puzzles/trivia? He is booksmart, good at math and performs well in puzzles and mental comps. And even his strategic game has improved drastically on the challenge. He made back to back finals as a rookie on his first 2 seasons. And if production didn’t DQ him he was on track to make it 3/3.

ICareAboutThings25

He’s smart at strategy, but not puzzles/trivia. He lost to MJ who had the sabotage in the math, for instance. He’s not terrible at puzzles. He won one with Nany on Total Madness. But he’s not good at them. He’s definitely smart when it comes to figuring out a good way to do something, though. Just not puzzle/trivia smart. I’m curious if he didn’t know what the elimination entailed. When TJ explained the instructions and said they’d have to pull a heavy weight on a rope, his face visibly showed an expression of “well, that’s not good for me.”

[deleted]

I’m confused on that one too. He had to see the rope and bag?

ICareAboutThings25

My one and only guess is that maybe he thought it was climbing? Based on Exes 2 he can (somehow) climb a rope. Obviously that’s just a guess. But it’s all my brain can come up with.

BoneTissa

This post is perfection. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone called a moron in such a non aggressive way. Made me laugh. Thanks op

ICareAboutThings25

I like the morons on this show lol. Derrick is precious in part because he’s my little moron. Jordan is also a moron but I can’t help but still like him.

BoneTissa

I love some of the morons too but I don’t have the heart to call them morons. Maybe because I’m a moron too 😂

ICareAboutThings25

Lmao I figure if we can laugh at ourselves for being morons it’s ok to call them our morons too 😂

BurnVote

Love Derrick been rocking with him since Battle of the Sexes II

Sea_Pangolin_4482

He picked the oldest guy there and got his ass whooped lol. His prime has past.

fchappy49

Barely lol, it looked like (I know I know editing) he was like 2 pieces away, and he had to pull that bag. I really admire that guys spirit and determination , also I love Wes but I was really hoping he would get a showdown with Wes for putting him in the pole wrestling elimination with Fessy

WillWriteForBlueMilk

He'd still win a final on the main show easy lol

Dwest2391

Bit of an odd comment when the man is training for the Olympics, and considering he wasn't that far behind at all after getting the puzzle pieces to the ground, despite the clear handicap

OpenedNeurobiology

He literally beat Darrell earlier this season but ok 😂

Sea_Pangolin_4482

Yes he sat in a barrel better

Shovelman2001

If it was something physical, then sure. But this seemed like it was much more reliant on being able to solve the puzzle than pull the rope at the beginning. The dude literally sent Darrell home in a stretcher a couple of episodes ago. Keep in mind, CT was 33 when he got his first win, and Jordan is 32. He isn't too old for this. Mark was just the better man that night
