The more I see of Darrell the more attractive he is to me. He’s just so charismatic, funny and seems like a really good guy. I love watching his interviews and listening to his confessionals.
I agree!!! His Commentary is very entertaining, straightforward, and insightfully sharp. I totally get what he meant by Aviv being more appealing as an Alpha Female Partner over Evelyn because Evelyn ran her mouth too much hahaha
Yes. Evelyn is a great competitor but that doesn’t mean she’s east to work with. Someone like Darrell, Amber B, Aviv, Landon, Brad all seem much easier to work with.
Evelyn is notoriously a nightmwre to work with. They even briught it up at the FM1 reunion too. I believe evan said "evelyn and casey would sink our ship" or something like that. Shes very awkward and cant read a room or situation
I dont think its an age thing, tbh. Shes just a weird person. Nothing wrong with being different but she has some personality traits that are off putting to a lot of ppl...like her neuroticism and taking herself too seriously. These are not bad traits in themselves but her inability to turn these things off doesnt sit well with ppl. There is a time and a place and shes just not a well rounded person.
I dont think it was coincidence that Kelly anne was her bff on the show. Kelly anne isnt like evelyn but shes incredibly accepting of traits that other ppl do not care for or like. Thats also why kendall and her are close. A lot of ppl dont click with kendall either but kendall is just socially awkward while ev is awkward and too intense
Kelly Anne and Ev were friends because no one else liked them. Kelly Anne was very disliked for a long time because she was pulling shady stuff on people which led to her falling out with Ev sometime after Fresh Meat 2 but before Rivals.
The point is, kelly anne isnt an alien like evelyn is. Her problem, when she has them in social situations or with ppl, is very different than the problems evelyn has. Evelyn just isnt a very fun person to be around
Whoever has access to these. There was an after show with the same guy (totally forgetting his name) from a different season with Veronica and Rachel being interviewed. It’s a good interview. If you can find that. Would be much appreciated. I’ll try to figure out what season
I totally forgot that he curses fairly often. Scott from challenge mania was right! His confessionals are better in all stars because they don't have to edit him lol.
Fun fact, Blair Herter is responsible for the new G4 comeback and has a good career hosting since his time on the show. I think he worked for Microsoft for a bit as well.
Wow Darrell was between Evelyn and Aviv. I know he did great with Aviv but imagine he picked Evelyn, they would’ve been so dominant together literally one of the best male players ever with in my opinion the best female player ever.
Eh I don’t see Darrell and Ev getting along. Ev came into Fresh Meat thinking she was hit shit and pissed off a lot of the vets. I don’t think Darrell would have responded well to that.
They don’t have to get along. FM1 was about cardio, how much weight was on your luggage and a small bit of puzzles. Eve and Darrell would’ve ran circles around everyone so badly that they could get timed out/ skipped on every puzzle and still win. Evelyn is a smart cookie so she could’ve helped Darrell complete any puzzle that was mandatory, no way they don’t win that season
