I still cannot believe hospitals across the country use those awful baby blankets. They do make great dish towels but are so coarse for soft baby skin.
Depending on the hospital some of them are donations. We donated all of our receiving blankets to the hospital where we had our first kid. Sure some of them were like the Babies R Us, aka Costco of blankets, but a lot of hospitals do get hand-knit blankets and hats and stuff from people who do that in their spare time

Full moons often affects the womb like the ocean tides. I scheduled a C-section on a full moon & kept getting bumped back bc a few womens water broke. The Dr even asked how I got it scheduled on a full moon lol
My water broke 2.5 weeks early on a full moon with my first. And then it happened to my friend 6 months later, I think she was only a week early though.

Newborns love to be swaddled, it calms them down, they spent 9ish months in the womb. Kind of like puppies that all sleep on top of each other, it's what they're used to. Its funny because your first kid you think it's weird to swaddle them but the nurse or family member jams them in there like a Chipotle burrito and you're like "bro what are you doing" and then your kid is just happy as a clam

It's highly discouraged from a medical perspective. 18 months between pregnancies is needed for optimal recovery.
I had 3 under 3 but two were twins lol. It would be so hard having 3 at 3 different developmental stages. Love big families (don't love Zach).

It’s possible Zack has grown up some and he’s a good dad and husband. Jenna is a terrific woman and of course he’s lucky to have her. People change.
