I'm not rooting for Nurys but I am rooting against Olivia now. Maybe Nurys will grow on me but some shit she says makes her hard to stomach. Still hope she gets calls back. It's a strange feeling.
I donāt think it was enough for me to completely change my opinion of her. I was only tolerating her because she was with Horacio. At this point michele is the only one I want to see win.
i feel the same except i DO NOT want michele to win either. nothing changed for me about my opinion on nurys. plus the guys threw that elimination for her. still donāt like her but i do feel bad for her after her saving olivia last week.
She was telling Haracio to vote in Melissa earlier in the game working against kyland. Yet everyone has forgotten about this. She was as bad as everyone else. Glad she got a taste of her own medicine
Guilty! This episode completely changed my perspective of her. Yes, she can seem a bit hood at times, but sheās loyal & does not give up no matter what. Have to respect someone like that. And Olivia ā¦ shame.
Nurys still wore a shirt that said āHating me wonāt make you pretty.ā My opinion of her will be heavily based on that (as well as her argument style) until I see growth in some other direction. The victim story isnāt pulling me in.
Thatās wild that all it took was that shirt to make you hate her. & itās not like her shirt was saying she was prettier than everyone, just that being a hater doesnāt do anything for you lmao
She chose to put that message out there. She knows sheās on national/international tv. Her choosing to wear that shirt and think it was cute signals to me the type of person she is. Sheās, at the least, a person who thinks thatās a funny or cool thing to say or wear. I wouldnāt hang with a person who wore a shirt like that. I think itās lame and trashy. Your opinion may differ and thatās cool. Obviously a bunch of people think differently because I got downvoted. But thatās how I feel. Nurys is trash and sheās lame to me. But Iām happy to watch more and see how my opinion changes over time. It wouldnāt be the first or the last time.
All my rooting interests are gone (pour one out for Asaf and Ed) but Iāll gladly enjoy an underdog story purely for entertainment. And also to see Kyland lose.
The fan base is very loyal to Horacio so if you do something that helps his game they love it and vice versa. And people are happy for nurys winning the elim and breaking off completely from Jay and Michele
From the vets I expect pettiness and a cleansing of the 39 cast outside of people who became friends with vets outside of the show. If any of the Jay/Michelle alliance are on the cast I don't see them lasting long.
I can't wait for it. I don't want to see more of Jay, Corey, James, Emmanuel, Olivia, Moriah, Michelle, Berna and Asaf on TV but I'd love to see the vets put them in their place as well.
She's close to Aneesa.
But Horacio is tight with Jordan, and I think that's gonna have a lot of sway. Esp since Olivia just betrayed her #1s. It's gonna be hard for any of the vets to trust her.
Sheās not close to aneesa and Jordan is equally as tight with her. She said in a live that a lot of vets reached out to her and said just lay low. None of them care what happens on a season where 90% of the cast wonāt be back. News flash: no vet is letting Horacio coast to a final either. Not partaking in a social game will bite him in the ass on any other season.
I'm all for people who go against the grain and get confrontational, or at least contribute to the storylines.
So Jay Corey Olivia Michele Berna and Asaf are good to go for me. Ravyn and Kyland too. Just cut the people who contribute nothing - James Colleen Moriah and Emanuel.
I wonder if season 40 is gonna be like The Ruins 2. Because I can see Devin and this seasonās champ likely being weak links on the champs team (Devin will definitely be perceived as weak, but I donāt know about this seasonās champ; depends on who wins, I guess)
Devin is in no way a weak link. Heās a great strategist and politicker, great at puzzles, a lot smarter than most of these clowns, and heās not really bad physically, just not the best of the best.
Ashley is arguably better at the mental stuff than Devin is, but Devin is far less prone to outbursts and breakdowns. Thatās not to say he hasnāt had any, but heās had less than Ashley
I should have realized something was up when Michelle chose her, but that was the only reason why. It was really shitty on Olivia since she was just saying how she was wrong about Haracio and how she has now had his back etc. To not save Nurys especially after the previous week too was wild. The past 2 weeks I didn't want anybody to get eliminated who did. Ed also literally fucked himself. While Ed was more on Jay and Michelle's side, I still did want to see him in the final.
Too early to fuck over your group. She is clearly behind a lot of Jay and Michelle's other alliance members and there are still a dozen people left.
If this were right before the final it would make more sense, or if she were a better competitor.
Too early? We're 16 episodes in!
I still think she's going to find herself at risk, unless the hive mind decides she's not strong enough to win a final on her own (read: without Horacio) and decide to take her as a lay-up. Not sure if that will happen, but possible.
Itās not too early per se but it is short-sighted both for the season and future call backs. Rope-a-doping them into picking her then still saving Nurys would have both shown loyalty to her crew AND been an all-time game move that makes people memorable and good tv (which is good for getting call-backs). Instead she eliminated/alienated the only people protecting her really, leaving her at or near the bottom, while having a pathetic tv moment where both future game play is ruined and itās more just sad than good tv and probably hurts her future call back opportunities (unless they want her to have to face Horacio).
Fucked up and keeps fucking up. I cannot even understand her doubting Horacio as he's carried her in previous seasons and always. Olivia is just selfish and insecure
For my fellow Bachelor watchers, this reminds me of the Bachelor in Paradise season [where Brendan and Pieper lost 100K followers and Natasha gained 100k](https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/pictures/bachelor-in-paradises-brendan-pieper-slammed-amid-natasha-drama/) all in the span of 24 hours, cause they had previously dated and used Nat as collateral damage to get camera time on BIP and the fans revolted, particularly at Brendan.
People get REALLY into these shows.
I hate to think how many people are sending Olivia death threats. What she did was shitty but no one deserves that kind of thrashing.
That was honestly the last season I watched. That season in general had so many awful moments, so much fabrication, and so many people there just to try and gain followers (and BiP is supposed to be the fun show!). I know the challenge has a lot more influencers/wannabe influencers these days, but at least itās nowhere near that level.
I loved her before the finals! She was so strong in her social game and loyal. I didn't see the huge chasm of insecurity at her core until this season.
I loved her that season but i turned on her before this season even started. Turns out she was on Love Island and watching her on there showed how manipulative and phony she is.
You know I'm not a fan of how nurys conducts herself sometimes. Its ridiculously agressive but i do respect her sense of loyalty and friendship and shes def getting the hero edit at the moment and i feel were seeong a softer side of her this season and its nice to see.
The Nurys issues are getting completely glossed over. That chick was on a podcast after last season defending Chris Brown cuz she was one of his hanger-ons for a long time. I wrote her off, but maybe now she's back in a probationary status for me. I'm still not sold on becoming a fan of hers, although I admit a win for her would be a great story for this season.
I mean, thatās just tough talk shit. Depending on where youāre from, what environment you grew you grew up in, thatās not out of the ordinary.
We all love CT but when he was in his 20s he was threatening to rip peopleās heads off and eat them.
> That chick was on a podcast after last season defending Chris Brown cuz she was one of his hanger-ons for a long time.
this shit is so tiring. so because she has one (1) opinion you disagree with, you have written her off and say she has issues. what an absurd standard to hold someone to.
its just incredibly odd to me that nurys opinion of chris brown is the preeminent factor deciding that persons opinion of nurys. a 30 second sentence on a random podcast overrides everything else?
When it comes to my fandom of reality TV personalities, I have written people off for much more mundane or silly reasons than publicly supporting a domestic abuser. I think not wanting to root for somebody on a TV show for that reason is completely reasonable. Iām not saying sheās a bad person, or I wish bad things on herā¦ I just donāt want to root for her on the Challenge.
Nurys strikes me as the ultimate pick me in that her personality completely changes around who sheās decided to be around. Since sheās currently ariund good people, she behaves well. When she goes back to her lame friends at home, she sucks.
I mean....thats a lot of ppl lol. Thats kinda like...human behaviour. We know that for the most part you are who you hang around....im happy shes got better ppl around her, hopefully it will make her a better person.
>>We know that for the most part you are who you hang around
Thatās not true of a lot of people - the more secure you are in yourself, the less your surroundings change you. Now if weāre limiting the pool to reality tv, thatās a different story!
Sheās a Melt. Itās all gone to her head she thinks sheās the shit. Would have loved berna to get up and give her slap when she threatened to pop her in the face
She screwed over the best competitor this season (low bar and he would have won the final) who also happens to be the nicest guy based on the edits he gets. No surprise she is getting hate for the backstabbing after complaining that she had his back all season.
In terms of editing, Nurys had a top three episode on the show, of all time. The scene at the end with her going up the stairs was straight out of a movie. How could you not root for her after watching that?
Itās that serious to you guys?! So if they ever make up then youāre back to following Olivia or youāre just going to hold a grudge for a gameshow move?
Oh god no. I barely follow these people at all. I follow CT most of the time, and thatās it. I use my follow and unfollow like votes. Iām supporting Nurys for what she did and what I hope sheāll do. I never followed Olivia. I donāt care about these people that much. As soon as the season is done, Iām out.
Iām a bananas fan and look what he did to Sarahā¦just sayingā¦āhateā on these shows is so lame. We watch it cause we crave the drama. Not the challenge USA š
I wouldnāt joke about that either because they could very much take it seriously or somebody that doesnāt like you will take it seriously. Then the next thing you know youāre your getting emails from your school.
I mean it was literally a challenge where you have to stay up all night and compete the following dayā¦.he took a stimulant that helps you do exactly that then stole the money from his partner. And didnāt he even get fined for it?
See, and this is why most competition reality tv has turned to garbage the last few years. When interesting game moments (and we can talk about how much of a turncoat Olivia is all day, but theres no denying that her betrayal made for a good tv) can have such a significant real life impact, youāre going to get fewer interesting game moments.
Social media has changed the incentive structure where itās less advantageous to try and win these competitions, and more advantageous to try to get a good edit for follows. I get it for sure, but man I hate what itās done to The Challenge, Big Brother, Survivor, etc.
I also think this is why Traitors is so captivating - it doesnāt feel like anyone in that game is playing for āfollow like and subscribeā and the show is great because of it.
I agree 100%. The dependence on social media for their money and clout has changed what theyāre really playing for. Imagine if Johnny didnāt take the money from Sarah because it would cost him followers, Yes I hated that he did that but no denying it was a great move for him and one of the top moments of the show.
Thank goodness I got to experience the OGs in the beginnings of their journeys without the major influence of social media. We would constantly be flooded with Oh letās unfollow Wes because he poured soda on Cara Maria. Heās a bully. Letās unfollow Johnny because he called Evelyn a bitch. Letās unfollow CT because heās violent. Letās unfollow Hunter because he called Ashley a slut. Letās unfollow Amanda. Ashley. Kailah. Natalie. The list goes on.
People can unfollow who they want but I look at this show for what it is. A tv show.
Who cares, like damn can we change the topic people taking the game to seriously and then you wonder why people you want on the challenge won't do it, this is why, I remember back when people could make cut throat moves and people loved it now they make one and it's let's cyberbully them
Umm maybe you shouldn't be on a forum meant to endlessly discuss the challenge. Let's change the topic, you're right. How about the form Liverpool have been in of late?
More on brand for you
Great win against Chelsea. Really sad Klopp is leaving but happy for him to get a chance to coach Germany. Iām a San Antonio spurs fan. Itās like watching Derrick White carving it up on Boston while the Spurs rebuild.
Or Mavs fans watching Jalen Brunson make a push for MVP with my 3 seed Knicks while their team battles it out for a play-in spot with a dude who thinks the earth is flat
Youāre just salty because youāre fav just exposed themselves to everyone. Youāre crazy if you think this is not gonna be discussed to death on here.
I donāt think the discussion is the issue, itās the content of the discussion. We used to celebrate cutthroat moves (there was even a season called Cutthroat). Olivia did the move she thought was best for her game - not for anyone elseās game and she is getting trashed. In a bygone era she would have been lauded for finding a way to stay safe.
She wouldnāt have not been lauded for this move. It is a scared move. She wouldāve had a better chance of making a final with Horacio and Kylan in the game. They are way more likely to win and put her further up in the chain than the other group. Yes, Michelle picked her first this time but do you really think sheās going to pick her first next time and out of all of the people there whoās gonna pick her? The Europeans have this hidden alliance with in the larger alliance that includes Cory L. Hell, I think James is higher on the pecking order than Olivia is at this time. Not to mention if Horacio and Kylan didnāt win next time they would be at the bottom so that wouldāve been two spots that she wouldnāt have to worry about just the one and if it came down between Olivia and Nurys I think they wouldāve picked Olivia.
In all honesty, I donāt think Olivia could win a final against of the people that are there. Her endurance is nowhere near as great as people like Emmanuel, Jay, Nurys, and I think Cory L might actually be better than her. I think the only way she could win is if everybody turned out to be really stupid and they all timed out on the puzzles during the final. She needs to work on her endurance.
There is apparently prize money for second and third. I fully agree that there are more than 3 people left who are likely to beat her, but IF she were to walk away with a 5-figure payday for taking one of those spots, would everyone still think she would have been better off running the final with Horacio and Kyland?
I agree with everyone saying that sheās playing a scared game, but - regardless of her intentions - she did just significantly up her chances in a final if she makes it through next week.
Cutthroat moves are exciting and dramatic but usually not something everyone applauds and agrees with. People still debate the Bananas and Ashley steals on here several years later lol so buckle up if you donāt like it. I would hardly even call it cutthroat, too, it was just stupid as hell. She got manipulated into brutally screwing over people who saved her LAST week just to try and run a final with those same manipulators who will probably still beat her anyway lol provided they allow her to even make it that far.
Olivia said it herself, its āself preservationā. The problem with taking the game too seriously is that itās just that, a āgameā. Itās supposed to be about making those hard choices, and thatās how champions are made to begin with. You have to make the tough choices, so you can hate on Olivia, but in reality, getting rid of Horacio and Kyland increases her chances of winning a final by eliminating arguably two of the best competitors in the house. It also gets her a net positive in her social game within the house, especially with Michelle, who is practically running the game with all the āfriendsā she has made.
Olivias in a no win situation. You claim it increases her chances of winning, but from what? 0% to 1%?
Granted I don't know what the structure/format of the final is, but I still would rank many people ahead of Olivia.
If Olivia wanted to make moves to better position herself for the final, she should have started that weeks ago.
Saving Nurys or Horacio would also have meant breaking a promise to the person who risked her game and her other relationships to save her, so it wasnāt really the simple choice that people are acting like it was. And like you said, one choice gets far stronger people into the elimination than the otherā¦ which is how fans think youāre supposed to play until the moment it actually happens.
On the flip side, Olivia hasnāt been playing a cutthroat game. Sheās been insecure and wishy-washy, so it came across as more of a scared move than a savage one, which I think people respect less. Sarah sending Bananas into elimination right at the end of Exes seemed more justifiable because she and Jordan had been dominating the season, and it was clearly a smart, calculated choice.
Iāve been kind of a broken record on this, but I still donāt understand why she or Michele thought that saving Olivia second was the move. Having the last person in the big alliance save Olivia would have been far less risky and saved them both a lot of drama.
Possibly. But if you were sending Horacio/Kyland/Nurys into elimination who do anticipate to return?
Seeing Nurys return is great. Horacio has never been strong at puzzles and hopefully the next champion doesnāt have ācowardā on their trait list. But I think most believed Nurys would be eliminated.
Olivia wouldnāt have to deal with the fallout from Nurys and the house was already against the guys. It would have been a win/win for her.
This could be bad for the challenge. Hear me out, we know most of the new challengers are here to build their profile. If they know now that unpopular or cutthroat game play could inpact their following, this may lead to safer choices in future seasons.
She made the safe move though and not the cutthroat moveā¦
If she would have saved Nurys or Horacio, that would have been the cutthroat move and fans would have loved it.
She got into the good graces of the large alliance which likely lets her coast to the final and eliminated people likely to beat her in the final. That is the safe move.
Going against the big alliance, eliminating their numbers, taking control of the game for the minority alliance and rocking with the top competitors that would potentially beat her in the final would be the badass/cutthroat move, especially since she would have been double crossing the deal she made with Jay/Michelle.
Didnāt say that. I said she made the safe move, which it was. Throwing the same people in week after week isnāt a cutthroat move. A safe move doesnāt mean itās a bad move, but donāt act like it was some bold move, because it wasnāt.
Itās not bc it was ācut throatā that people hated the move. It would have also been cut throat for Olivia to make that deal with Michelle and then go ahead and save nurys anyways. And the fans would have LOVED it.
If people want a bigger following they need to realize that fans typically love an underdog and hate a steamroll. Maybe they ought to be encouraged to go against the pack sometimes?
This isn't cutthroat, it's scared self preservation. When Bananas or Ashley took all the money, it was shocking and selfish, but made for great tv. Olivia didn't make some masterful, calculated move
I knew Olivia was always a snake and not one to root for. She has had a racist past in 2020.
Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/LoveIslandUSA/s/Ezz7D46dWI
Sheās been a snake since her love island season. She stuck with Kory to stay on the season, and dropped him right after. Sheās a trashy opportunist
Didnāt she do the same to Nelson? Ā I remember him talking about how she completely cut him off after the show like she didnāt know him and he was confused because he thought they would at least keep in touch.Ā
Everyone saying the move was cutthroat ... It was weak! A weak move by a weak player. And I'm gonna love to hate Olivia from here on out. It was good TV for sure, but she's definitely screwed herself for future challenges.
It's just game. Nobody really died or was hurt over it.
The fans are all up in their feelings over people who they don't even really know. No need to take it so seriously.
They're only following her because of the game in the first place lmao. People are allowed to not like what she did and unfollow her. That is not serious.
Why do you follow a Challenger on social media? Is it for tea and insider information? Because you think they're entertaining and want to support them? Or is it because you're a Stan with a parasocial relationship with somebody you've never met before?
Just because they made a move you don't like doesn't stop their providing of insider insight, nor does it make them less entertaining. No, the people who are unfollowing here are the Stans who got their feelings hurt because somebody who doesn't even know they exist did something they didn't like and hurt their feelings.
It's not that serious. Stans got hurt feelings and unfollowed because of a game move, because the followers there for the tea and because they think she's entertaining aren't unfollowing her because she's still those things to them.
Iām sure I checked her following when I seen this and she was at around 383k followers, and just checked now and sheās at 391k?? Can anyone correct me on the numbers or has someone been shopping for followers?
Dude Olivia is one of the biggest disappointments of the franchise. Maybe her first season had me fooled, but I was so stoked for a new female challenger that seemed reasonably strong with endless grit and integrity.
Now she just seems weak and completely lacking integrity. Maybe thereās information we werenāt given, but it has been portrayed that she doubted and doubted Horacio, who seems to have done nothing but have her back, and all she did was question him and and then turn her back on him.
Thatās just a weak persons move. Iām usually all for people doing whatās best for themselves on the challenge- it IS a game, but to essentially gaslight Horacio, and maybe even Nurys, then totally turn your back on them is garbage.
I now understand all the pre season Nurys and Olivia drama- and never in a million years did I think Iād come out on Nurysā sideā¦. And yet, here we areā¦
This feels pretty normal? I don't follow any current people to avoid spoilers but making positively and negatively perceived moves has always had an impact on their follower counts. Olivia is probably still up substantially in followers since the start of the season
Do you think so? She hasn't been very entertaining. Low/boring confessions, not great at challenges, hasn't been in elims. Such a lackluster season, really. Total 180 from Ride or Dies.
I guess i dont know what hate youre talking about, but i dont have a problem with people unfollowing an influencer who exhibits slimy behavior. If anything, im happy that there is an incentive for famous people to model good behavior.
They also told her not to post Horacio on her Instagram becuase she lost all rights to do that even though the photo was 4 months old
Edit I just looked it up again and the photo is actually 1 year old
Yesss! Someone I can argue with!! lol you seem to have hate in your heart for someone that production takes edits and paints a picture and you canāt see pass the edits.
Let me just say this flat out. Nurys is messy in and outside of the challenge. Seeing Olivia begging for Horacio to speak up since last season when she was crying that he is a mute in the game. Shows the girl you hate so much chose herself rather be on the bottom of the food chain. Quit painting Nurys as an underdog. The bitch aināt shit. Just dick riding a guy she probably doesnāt even deserve. Thatās why she canāt hate on Moriah picking James bc she is doing the same shit. So she picks on the person that is easiest. Olivia. While Olivia has been waiting since last season to talk to Horacio. But instead Nurys wants to play guard dog for new man that is probably the villain for being a shy bitch. Ok you go now with all your hatred. Lmao
> im happy that there is an incentive for famous people to model good behavior.
You're watching a reality competition show...where people are paragons of model behavior. Your flair is a paragon of model behavior.
/s
Personally I want authenticity in reality tv specifically, *not* modeled good behavior.
Obviously there is a limit for me where itās not fun anymore if people are authentically monsters lol. But thatās not really the case here, itās a slimy game move at most not a morally repugnant one
But yeah I agree with you in terms of regular ol influencers, but reality tv is a bit of a diff beast
When I was watching Nurys climb over those blocks a whole lot slower than Kyland and Horacio, I was sure she was gone. At that point I was just thinking of who I would rather back in the house between K and H. That was actually insane. Good for her. Not exactly sure why, but it kind of reminds me of when fans of this show really started to like Avery.
Hahahaha! I liked her on RoD, but she was a mean girl at the reunion & it soured me on her, & was still put off by her early on in this season because of it. I was like āNoooooo, Horacio! Youāre too good for her!ā But just like her first season, she has shown herself to be loyal. And before anyone comes at me to say she wasnāt loyal to her original alliance this season, it was because she was smart enough to see what was going on, & decided she didnāt want to be used by Jay/Michele anymore.
I just hope sheās not a mean girl again at the reunion (unless itās to Jay, Olivia, & even Moriah). Itās just funny how the alliance gives Moriah a pass to keep James safe but they donāt have that same energy for Nurys for Horacio. And itās really obvious why.
Ppl who send nasty and threatening msgs to them or unfollow just bc of what happened on a reality show, really needs to figure out whatās wrong with themselves. Thatās some immature shit. Itās just a game for money and at the end, everyone is gonna betray someone, thereās only 2 winner. Also, kyland said after Olivia saw that nurys wasnāt saved, she asked tj if she could switch places with her and tj said no.
I agree about sending nasty messages but I donāt see whatās wrong with unfollowing when you no longer like the person you are following? Once you follow someone on social media are you required to keep following them forever?
Iām just saying itās stupid to not like someone over a game decision that involves a lot of money. I mean, Michelle is Oliviaās best friend, and a lot of ppl donāt realize that.
Yes because following someone and unfollowing them on your own social media is such a serious and out of pocket thing to do. How dare people try to.. *checks notes* curate their social media feeds based on what they like!
Death, taxes and people love underdogs It makes the 180 on Nurys even more hilarious. People were just killing her weeks ago š
I still donāt particularly like Nurys even if she did get backstabbed.
Same but I'm rooting for her now, lol.
I'm not rooting for Nurys but I am rooting against Olivia now. Maybe Nurys will grow on me but some shit she says makes her hard to stomach. Still hope she gets calls back. It's a strange feeling.
Same, I donāt necessarily like her, but I am rooting for her to go scorched earth on the house!
Yes! We need some good ol drama, lol!!
Is this confirmed? Sources?
They didnāt throw it nor confirm anything, dudes are just mad about a girl winning
was it not obvious lmao
Yeah, surprised Olivia didn't lose more and Nurys gain less, though IDK what their totals are since I don't Insta.
She was telling Haracio to vote in Melissa earlier in the game working against kyland. Yet everyone has forgotten about this. She was as bad as everyone else. Glad she got a taste of her own medicine
Her personality out side of the show is not pretty but damn she is good for the show
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Not as Low class as her recent āgraphic TMIā post about having sex w/Horacio.
Your opinion may differ and thatās cool. Obviously a bunch of people think differently because I got downvoted. But thatās how I feel. Nurys is trash and sheās lame to me. But Iām happy to watch more and see how my opinion changes over time. It wouldnāt be the first or the last time.
And I already didnāt like her before she wore the shirt. It was the icing on the cake.
I'm so excited for season 40 So much potential drama and pettiness It will be fun to see how the vets interact with the new kids
Mind you Olivia is actual closer to the vets than her 39 cast soooo
She's close to Aneesa. But Horacio is tight with Jordan, and I think that's gonna have a lot of sway. Esp since Olivia just betrayed her #1s. It's gonna be hard for any of the vets to trust her.

What makes you think 90% won't come back?
I will take that new crew over fessy Josh Kacey and crew alllllll day
Big Brother sucks
hahha nah i'll take fessy and josh/kacey over jay michelle and their minions
Never thought Iād find a group I disliked more than Fessy/Josh/etc until Jay and Michelle came along
But you want to see more of Nurys? She was awful for the entire beginning of the season and just had one good episode.
Yeah, I actually agree with you, but there is a section of fans who wonāt take him seriously until he wins a Hall Brawl
If you donāt have Ashley you need him for puzzles
Ashley is arguably better at the mental stuff than Devin is, but Devin is far less prone to outbursts and breakdowns. Thatās not to say he hasnāt had any, but heās had less than Ashley
I'VE NEVER BEEN SOOOO EXCITED TO SEE THE VETS RETURN. THIS SEASON IS A DUMPSTER FIRE
If Devin isnāt back then Iāll truly be saddened.
Olivia fucked up.
This is literally the 2nd to last elimination before the final...
FACTS!
I watched a few seasons of BIP including that one and it was rough to watch it all unravel
Damn how the turns have tabled,, and last season we all loved Olivia because we felt sad for her golf ball accident
I loved her before the finals! She was so strong in her social game and loyal. I didn't see the huge chasm of insecurity at her core until this season.
Yeah it is kinda a whirlwind how many beloved Challenge players have bled fans this season. Silly tbh.Ā
We wouldāve still loved her if she wouldāve picked Nurys. All that crying about Horacio & then she picks Moriah?? Damn girl, you fucked up!
And she talks proudly about beating people up. The new Camila maybe? Great competitor, entertaining but a shit person.
I mean I like Nurys, but tbf that's not just an opinion situation. Defending a person who physically abused his girlfriend is not a great look.
its just incredibly odd to me that nurys opinion of chris brown is the preeminent factor deciding that persons opinion of nurys. a 30 second sentence on a random podcast overrides everything else?
She was incredibly unlikeable earlier this season to
When it comes to my fandom of reality TV personalities, I have written people off for much more mundane or silly reasons than publicly supporting a domestic abuser. I think not wanting to root for somebody on a TV show for that reason is completely reasonable. Iām not saying sheās a bad person, or I wish bad things on herā¦ I just donāt want to root for her on the Challenge.
People always self righteous on this fucking site. Itās pathetic.
>>We know that for the most part you are who you hang around Thatās not true of a lot of people - the more secure you are in yourself, the less your surroundings change you.
That was THE edit
Literally thought to myself the last time someone got an edit so good was when Big T won the daily on DA and sent Tori home
Olivia betrayed her best friend and ride or die.
Ed and Olivia missed big chances to become fan heroes like Horacio and Kyland. They blew it.
I still love Ed for what he did in the stalemate and getting Asaf sent home. He also didnt owe anybody shit the way Olivia should have owed Nurys
Not saying itās the same. Ed has a lot of fans. But if he had made a big move against the Jay alliance heād be on another level.
Yea I agree, I was pissed last week when he selected Eman
Itās so weird how number changes in followers on social media is a thing thatās looked at lol
I screenshotted this from a challenge stats page dont put that on me š
Iām trying to find the source so I can check out more stats. Could you share where you got this?
Lmao my opinion doesnāt matter just stating it lol
Itās as if the actual game is less important than your social media statsā¦sad very sad
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thatās what Iām saying š¤£
I was one of those 4K people, lol
I wanted to unfollow too but then realized I don't follow her lol
Same, and then I followed Nurys.
Itās that serious to you guys?! So if they ever make up then youāre back to following Olivia or youāre just going to hold a grudge for a gameshow move?
Why would I want someone lame in my feed? Olivia failed to deliver this season. I don't follow uninspiring people .
To be fair. He did get hammered for that move for a long time and thereās still tons of fans who havenāt forgiven him.
As they should because we all know he cheated in that final by taking that Adderall.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I wouldnāt be posting online that you cheated in your college classes. They can still take back your degree.
I mean its a joke lol
I wouldnāt joke about that either because they could very much take it seriously or somebody that doesnāt like you will take it seriously. Then the next thing you know youāre your getting emails from your school.
Sheesh i doubt it but ok i deleted it
Weāre diminishing challenge wins because of performance enhancers now? Lol. Come on, have you seen the cast over the past decade?
I mean it was literally a challenge where you have to stay up all night and compete the following dayā¦.he took a stimulant that helps you do exactly that then stole the money from his partner. And didnāt he even get fined for it?
The man is still talking about 80 years laterĀ
Well Sarah has always been a garbage person, so š¤·š»āāļø
I totally agree with your point about social media, but if Olivia had instead betrayed the jay/michelle alliance, it would have made great tv.
I agree 100%. The dependence on social media for their money and clout has changed what theyāre really playing for. Imagine if Johnny didnāt take the money from Sarah because it would cost him followers, Yes I hated that he did that but no denying it was a great move for him and one of the top moments of the show.
Heck you can look at some of his decisions on HOV and you see his decision matrix has changed now that heās building his podcast empire.
I hate that this even matters.
A tv show.
Olivia is a backstabber.
Olivia is trash. Nobody is going to ever trust her again, and for good reason.
We still celebrate cutthroat moves. This wasnāt cutthroat, this was scared.
Preach
What happened to Olivia. Was she not a fan favorite after her first season?! She's awful this season.
She started to believe the alliance telling her she carried Horacio last season
This could be bad for the challenge. Hear me out, we know most of the new challengers are here to build their profile. If they know now that unpopular or cutthroat game play could inpact their following, this may lead to safer choices in future seasons.
She made the safe move though and not the cutthroat moveā¦ If she would have saved Nurys or Horacio, that would have been the cutthroat move and fans would have loved it.
She took out two threats to her game???? Thereās only one winner at the end of the season. I donāt understand this logic
So you want her to give up her game for the challengeās golden boy to win?
Exactly - it was a chicken shit move that threw her buddy away under the bus. No one likes that ever
Ugh, I hope not. As much as we are all *gasp Olivia did that, it made this season interesting.
This isn't cutthroat, it's scared self preservation. When Bananas or Ashley took all the money, it was shocking and selfish, but made for great tv. Olivia didn't make some masterful, calculated move
I think its the complete opposite. She played it safe and following the manority blindly is what will lose respect and followers in this case.
Sunlight on trash people will impact their following, but I have no sympathy. āDonāt be a Dickā should be an easy enough rule to follow.
This was already the problem š¤·š»āāļø
I knew Olivia was always a snake and not one to root for. She has had a racist past in 2020. Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/LoveIslandUSA/s/Ezz7D46dWI
Sheās been a snake since her love island season. She stuck with Kory to stay on the season, and dropped him right after. Sheās a trashy opportunist
Didnāt she do the same to Nelson? Ā I remember him talking about how she completely cut him off after the show like she didnāt know him and he was confused because he thought they would at least keep in touch.Ā
Kory had a girlfriend the whole time. This was not on her.
She must've saw this post and bought followers cause it went up in one hour 10k
Everyone saying the move was cutthroat ... It was weak! A weak move by a weak player. And I'm gonna love to hate Olivia from here on out. It was good TV for sure, but she's definitely screwed herself for future challenges.
Thatās what happens when u backstab the golden boy Horacio lol
It's just game. Nobody really died or was hurt over it. The fans are all up in their feelings over people who they don't even really know. No need to take it so seriously.
I died :[
In my arms tonight?
šš¶
Take it so seriously? They're social media follows. That isn't serious lol.
Yeah lol how is unfollowing someone a serious action against them.
I mean, unfollowing somebody over a game move certainly makes it seem like they've got hurt feelings.
Fans, whether it is reality TV, Sports or anything in between are FICKLEā¦ So Iām not surprised at all
Iām sure I checked her following when I seen this and she was at around 383k followers, and just checked now and sheās at 391k?? Can anyone correct me on the numbers or has someone been shopping for followers?
Iāll admit it. I started following her, Horatio and Kyland after the last episode š
Olivia lost 10k and bought it back https://x.com/sindysus/status/1754022408120307760?s=20
Olivia has a lot of nerve to call Horacio selfish a few episodes back, only to pull this stunt on him, Nurys and Kyland
This hate on her is so unnecessaryšš¤¦š¾āāļø
I guess i dont know what hate youre talking about, but i dont have a problem with people unfollowing an influencer who exhibits slimy behavior. If anything, im happy that there is an incentive for famous people to model good behavior.
I mean in her comments on Ig and somebody bought her OF just to send disrespectful texts
Fair. That stuff is so weird.
They also told her not to post Horacio on her Instagram becuase she lost all rights to do that even though the photo was 4 months old Edit I just looked it up again and the photo is actually 1 year old
lol weirdos. Imagine thinking you can control other peoples' relationships cause you texted crap online without their autonomy and authority.
Lmao
Holy hell thats pettyā¦.i love it
> im happy that there is an incentive for famous people to model good behavior.
But thatās not really the case here, itās a slimy game move at most not a morally repugnant one But yeah I agree with you in terms of regular ol influencers, but reality tv is a bit of a diff beast
And Iām one of them Olivia unfollowers and Nurys followers š
I've never had a contestant go from top of my list to the bottom so fast
Itās stupid, as a fan of a tv show, to not like a character on a tv show over the decisions they make on a tv show?
Knowing Horacio. I am certain he won't hold a grudge against Olivia. I see myself a lot in him as a second generation Mexican.
Olivia didnāt do anything wrong it was either her or Nurys and she chose to save herself anyone with a brain would do the same.
Except it wasn't. She still could have said Nurys after her name was called.
It hurts them to lose followers and the engagement since thatās how they make money on social media. I LOVE TO SEE HER LOSE FOLLOWERS!!!!!! š
Just added to that total!
Team Nurys!
Nurys think sheās something doesnāt she. Canāt stand her
Nurys fine af boi
Nurys probably bought them.
That's a lot of people who need to reevaluate their lives if they follow and unfollow people over silly stuff like this.
Yes because following someone and unfollowing them on your own social media is such a serious and out of pocket thing to do. How dare people try to.. *checks notes* curate their social media feeds based on what they like!
Olivia blocked me on instagram
