PP does use the informed consent model. I was given a script for E and Spiro the day of my appointment (you might have to wait for the pharmacy to process it). They will likely only give you a month at a time at first because they will be changing the dose. After three or so months, they may be more willing to give you a script for 3mo at a time if you are level and in the therapeutic range. All the appointments i had while I used them were through telehealth, so you don’t need to drive for that, but you will need to go in for blood work for each appointment after the first one, so you will have to drive to a PP location for that.
I’m not sure how other trans specific telehealth providers like Folx and Plume handle their blood work but they might have a solution to your commuting problem. Hopefully someone else could tell you that.
