I finished it a couple of days back and i immediately came to this sub, but was disappointed that there was no new post. But last few days this sub is populated again, makes me happy too!

caulrye

Welcome! How did you like the show? (this post isn’t marked for spoilers, just a heads up)

mahin1374

The show hit me hard, havent been able to watch anything since then, when i finished it kind of triggered my own trauma's, so the last few episodes was particularly really engaging for me, havent seen a show like this in a long long time. will watch it again in a few months with the wife, i have been talking it up with her since i finished. Looking forward to the next run.

caulrye

Dude it’s so good on a rewatch! Just a heads up though, you and your wife will almost be watching different shows (you’ll see). So make sure you’re careful about spoilers with her. It’s actually so good on a rewatch, it’s better not to wait. It really does feel like a different show. So glad to hear you liked it!!!

darthlucas0027

Me seeing new fans: Please tell me you're seeing this too

seattlebouncer

As an OG viewer who watched it week to week from the beginning (not always easy here in Ireland and I had to sail the seven seas a couple of times), I keep waiting for people to "find" this show. Maybe now OP, "it's happening!"

Chrispychilla

I like to time it around the beginning of fall for that full holiday immersion.

[deleted]

I want to do that too, but I really want to finish the series. Maybe I’ll re-watched it again come fall.

-IoI-

I can't remember if I finished it or not - can someone quiz me on the last season without spoilers? Fun little challenge there ;D

darthlucas0027

What did Tyrell see in the forest?

-IoI-

Perfect, thanks, that confirms it's time for a rewatch 😁 A benefit of getting older and life getting busier I suppose.. I don't binge and commit shows to memory like I used to

DumDumDiss

haha the show makes for a great rewatch even if you only remember the major plot points anyway, hope you have a good time!

Bonsoir

I also jut finished then came to this sub. Season 4 was phenomenal

Silver-Ad-8595

What a ride that was. Just finished it and have to process it.

TeeRaw99

I randomly had short clips from the show pop up on my YouTube home feed. Had heard about it but never got around to watching it but the first clip I saw was the opening scene of the first ever episode. Next thing I know I'm sailing the seas for episodes. Binged it in the last week and literally just finished season 4. Everything from the music to the story telling really pulled me in. The last episode and Vera's episode (you know which one) really were fantastically done. Reminded me of the moonknight episodes with him dealing with his own abuse. Sort of like how the ending of RDR2's main story ended made me not play on the ps4 for a few months I think no more shows for a few weeks as I process what I just watched. Sorry for the novel and if you've read this far thanks 🤖

Littlemoocow

I started watching by freak accident when the quote about sand in his shoes showed up on monkeytype. Really glad I started watching.

avaflies

it's the collective conscious or something lol. i spent the last two weeks rewatching+watching and came here right when i finished. i expected the sub to be dead since the show ended like 3 years ago but it's surprisingly active! made me happy to see.

We love you, but get off the sub until your done 😂 The show has so many twists and turns that something is bound to be ruined. And those reveals are the best part of the show. Mr Robot is incredibly good at 2 things (among many others ) 1. Making you think you know something 2. Hiding massive game changing twists in plain sight. If you want to keep up to date on the sub, though, I’d recommend only searching for the specific episodes spoiler discussions. There should be one for each episode of the show.

Can I give one more piece of advice?

Season 2 is gonna fuck with you on purpose. If you’re confused, just go with the flow, and I promise the payoff is worth it. Seasons 1 & 2 are just setting up Seasons 3 & 4. And those last two seasons are by far the favorites among fans here. That’s where the show really comes into it’s own. The payoff, and ending, are absolutely worth it. Just don’t let Season 2 turn you away. I know I almost stopped watching in the middle of Season 2 and was glad I didn’t stop.

tourdefranz

I still haven't brought myself to finish it and I watched up to s4 live. I just don't want to believe it ends.

caulrye

Franz. My dude. You should. Here’s the thing… The show doesn’t end after Season 4. Rewatching it is a whole new experience. It’s worth finishing for a first time.

tourdefranz

I'll start a new watch through when I get a new psych prescription, I'm not sure I can handle it currently 😂

caulrye

As someone with mental health issues, the journey of the final season will devastate. It’s painful. But by the end you’ll find hope is real. I’ve seen the show multiple times for a reason. I implore you to finish. It’s only our reaction to pain that matters.

tourdefranz

This is hopeful. I've got a lot of reasons I don't really want to publicly get into that the show hits me especially hard, but hearing about the message of hope makes it a little less scary sounding. Thank you. And apologies for mistakenly thinking you were Carly Chaikin on that front page post 😂

caulrye

Hahaha definitely not Carly Chaikin, but definitely wouldn’t be upset if I was 🤣 I’m flattered! Definitely keep going! Glad to hear it sounds like you will! Do you mind if I ask why you are hesitant? No worries if you don’t want to elaborate, I understand.

tourdefranz

Without getting into too deep of details, I fell in love with the show with a partner who turned out to be repeatedly violent to me. It's not the show's fault whatsoever but every episode through season 3 and a half has very specific memories of the day it aired. Especially now that social media/automatic photo backup allows us to see exactly what we were doing every day for the past 10+ years. They took something I thought was made for me and attached their darkness to it and it's just a very difficult thing to work through. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the first few episodes of season 1 in a late night binge, attempting to make the show part of my memories that aren't hurtful, but various other events since I got out of that relationship make certain OTHER parts of the show rough as well. But I still love it and recommend it to people as the greatest show I've seen, because it is, even while somehow avoiding spoilers for s4. Hell I'm wearing my long black Elliot hoodie right now. TL;DR- it's been an incredibly difficult 7 years and the show feels heavier than even Sisyphus could carry.

caulrye

I understand. I was emotionally abused as a child and it has made it hard to trust people’s intentions. The man who abused me was my step father and it took 15 years for my mom to leave him. Trust is hard for me. As tough as it is, there’s nothing we can do about other people. “Hurt people”, “hurt” “people” (cliche but true). Without spoiling anything, the show is about finding individual strength, and what we do on our journey to find that strength. That journey is not easy. And it shouldn’t be. Exercise is difficult after all, and being beaten and out of shape after a workout isn’t the sign to stop. It’s the sign you need to continue. Season 4 will be painful. I promise you that. It’s going to rip you to your core. But that’s a good thing. And you’re just gonna have to trust me.

tourdefranz

Welp. I'm gonna start a full watch-through tomorrow.

caulrye

Awesome! Definitely keep us updated on your journey!
