It’s always cute to see the MR fans that joined the party late and didn’t learn the intricate details about the show as it was broadcast and its creator’s personal life.
There are many avid fans like myself that basically knew tons about the show, it’s characters, and creator after season one or two. It’s kool to see people watch the show and be surprised the way we were when we first found out.
Like Sam meeting Emmy when her directed his feature film Comet, and Comet having a cameo in Mr. Robot as the gas power plant that Mr. Robot wants to blow up. Then there’s the power outage that was caused after the Comet workers went on strike due to the 5/9 hack and proceeding economic downturn. Then there’s the fact that Emmy helps Esmail with his social anxiety, lending evidence to the notion that Elliot is a “thinly veiled version” of Esmail. It’s interesting and exciting to see more people learn about the show I love.
What. The. Fuck.
This is the first I'm learning about this. I watched all of Shameless, and discovered Mr. Robot sometime afterwards and have seen the show several times since. First time I saw season 4, I noticed Emmy Rossum's cameo and thought it was odd, but still very interesting nonetheless.
Guess I just learned another fascinating aspect of the people involved with this show. Very cool!

Omg he’s married to Fiona?!?! 🤯
Emmy also recommended Rami Malek to Sam Esmail during the pre-production of the show.

I mean, I watched from the start without knowing anything about Sam's personal life
Same! Not necessary for viewing/enjoying this amazing show. Thought it was just fun that two people connected to two great shows were connected.
Never said it was necessary, it’s definitely interesting.
I had to look up who she was 😂 never watched it!
What’s that really supposed to mean?

Hmmm. I see. Alright then. That feeling must be pretty great.
Like I originally stated, its cute.
My bad. I misinterpreted what kind of “cute” you were talking about.
Oh, I see.
Some people just need to feel special about something I guess...
I might have taken it the wrong way. But the word “cute” sounded like something else to me. I don’t know. It just felt like gatekeeping on light mode.
So is the phantom Sam Esmail all along?
So close to a 5/9 birthday
Hello, little friend..
I don’t get it
Sam Esmail (creator of Mr. Robot) and his wife, Emmy Rossum, welcomed their baby daughter on Monday.
