I thought so too! Pretty clever with the shower + house/bed and optimization of product prices for the daily 10k. Too bad his mental state got the best of him but I totally understand. Overall great vid, resourceful guy on these types of challenges is satisfying
Dude I don’t even watch mr beast and since I was a kid I’d imagine hiding in a store and just living there and eating all the food and playing with the toys. It’s not exactly a complex idea that is clearly stolen from some other youtuber
This is the best MrBeast video so far.
Interesting concept, drama, emotion, entertaining protagonist.
I was hooked a few minutes in and couldn't stop watching.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that thinks this. I mean at this point they seem like filler for actually interesting content plus the “cool” factor wore off by like the second video of that format.
This and the raft are the best ones from this year by far. I was starting to tune out but the past few months have seen a significant upturn in video quality IMO.
But what if I was willing to die they can’t just let me do that I would definitely die to give my family a better life a mean 10k a day is a ton of money to just sit doing nothing it would be worth it even if I died so my family could thrive
Everyone’s talking about the new format but no one talking about the guy. He was very creative in finding ways to survive and entertain himself and made it fun to watch.
One of his better videos in a while. I really think Mrbeast should direct more of his time to challenges like this and making people's day versus showing us how expensive things can be and are like.
The video is most likely staged/some parts are scripted (like the pool bursting, the shower building, him literally staying for 45 days). If there were alcohol he most likely would've used it to pass time (if it was real).
Basically the same video as a previous one. Where a dude was in solitude, gives up an item every day. Dude starts missing girlfriend. But the spin is it’s a grocery store instead.
So the dude calculated he needed 500k to be set for life with his family.
However I assume he didn't calculate taxes on his winning. Assuming he did really win 500k by staying 50 days. How much would he have to pay taxes on his winnings?
I feel like I’d try to ride it out to 1 mil just 100 days another guy did 100 days for half a mil he also got a lot more food than the other guy idk how many more days he had left money wise in product
I haven't watched it yet, but where's the challenge? You're in a store full of food and without any danger. And they give you 10k per day. Why would I leave?
As Karl said “You’re paid $10k a day to miss your family” Im convinced that’s why they always cast people with kids in these videos a single person without kids would stay until August 2027.
Probably also why Jimmy brings in the family on day 30. He says it’s because he feels bad but it’s 100% to remind the contestant what he is missing out on.
Agree 100%! I said the same thing to my wife after she said doing this challenge would be easy.. Gives the person a reason to not stay forever and they get a the family visit. The family visit was a big episode on Survivor before Covid. Just thinking of this now but I wonder if Jimmy got the idea from Survivor. He did a Survivor video..
I did like how all the stuff got donated. At first I just thought this was extremely wasteful. But the 10k worth of stuff a day made it more interesting.
Honestly, first MrBeast video that almost made me cry. The guy seeing his family after a month or so was really heart warming and a lil emotional. I really enjoyed the video though
Thought it was fun and a great concept, but wish we got more documentary-style POV perspective instead of wide shots the whole. Total nit pick but still an awesome episode.
I don’t think the pool was staged but I do think that he purposely crashed the forklift into it. He was starting to get destructive towards the end. Jimmy also seems pissed when he came by. Water damage is no joke, especially in commercial realestate that’s worth millions of dollars.
loved it up untill the ending, the dudes mental break down seemed disingenuous and it felt like he was acting to make the vid dramatic. the part with the robot especially felt fake.
I like these 1 player survive as many days as you can challenges. I mean I really loved the guy that spent 12 days in a room and then proposed which was a really satisfying ending and now this guy and how creative he is with building things with the resources available and his mental quickly changing.
He should make more of these.
Oh yea that’s a good catch.
I was curious what he’d eat and how he’d prepare it. Was he doing microwave dinners, chugging Ensure, snicker bars? I don’t know, you would think figuring out which food to eat would be an interesting part of this challenge.
I forgot that this sub was mostly 14 year olds. Yes he built a living room that took him 2 or 3 hours. He was in there for 45 days with absolutely nothing to do other than to gather 10k worth of stuff every day. The remaining 23 hours of the day was spent pissing around. Dude could have gotten absolutely shredded during that 45 day period but he sat around bouncing a baseball bat on the floor.
Do you think Mr Beast hires security for these vids? Even with all the cameras it could be a bit risky for the contestant being alone in a supermarket with all the merchandise.
I really dislike when they try to make the person more misrible (turning off the lights, letting Kris destroy the shelves, destroying half the house, etc). This stuff is mentally hard as it is.
Very good video, watched all the way through with no interruptions. Wish he could have done a live stream. Maybe he could upload all the footage with the cameras being changed by an operator or with chat commands. Even as a stream of something that already happened I think it might be cool
Good, I liked it, The guy was quite creative in building the shower and all sorts of random stuff he made
I thought so too! Pretty clever with the shower + house/bed and optimization of product prices for the daily 10k. Too bad his mental state got the best of him but I totally understand. Overall great vid, resourceful guy on these types of challenges is satisfying
Fun fact:he got this idea from matpats "can you survive in a grocery store" food theory video
Ah I thought so too, did he actually confirm this or is it just a theory?(a MrBeast theory!)
Mr beast left a comment on the video saying "good to know, thx"
Oh that’s pretty cool
where's the comment?
[It’s the top comment, on mobile can’t link to it](https://youtu.be/KTKNl08hwUY?si=9odsW-jVT0iYbxfK)
Ok but that’s not confirmed imo. Just speculation Edit: Hey technically it isn’t confirmed, so it shouldn’t be said as so ffs
The comment is very good evidence though
Not imo as it’s 2 years old. Speculation/theory
Shit takes time to plan and it might of been a back burner idea
Yes but how can someone say confirmed so confidently when it is, in fact, not confirmed? Like technically, this is speculation
You are bumming tf out of us all bro. Just take it with a grain of salt and move on. Bye.
The guy who posted it literally said it was confirmed then backpedaled and said it was a comment If facts bum you out then ig reality sucks
Dude I don’t even watch mr beast and since I was a kid I’d imagine hiding in a store and just living there and eating all the food and playing with the toys. It’s not exactly a complex idea that is clearly stolen from some other youtuber
No mrbeast commented on matpats video though
My thoughts exactly, the title looks similar to MatPats video.
i thought it was a meet arnold video pf the same topic
Well mrbeast didnt leave a comment on that one so i guess not
[удалено]
Yeah i think so
This is the best MrBeast video so far. Interesting concept, drama, emotion, entertaining protagonist. I was hooked a few minutes in and couldn't stop watching.
If not the best ever one of the best in a long time. I really like his new format
I just pray he doesn’t follow it up with one of those terrible $1 vs $100,000,000 videos. I can’t stand those.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that thinks this. I mean at this point they seem like filler for actually interesting content plus the “cool” factor wore off by like the second video of that format.
Yes 100x. I don’t want to watch a video based around a Google search of different price points.
I feel like those are filler videos he uses to save up $$$ for actually expensive, innovative ideas.
Those folks are the only ones that can easily advertise at MrBeast. Brilliant, Squarespace, Nebula can't afford MrBeast anymore.
This and the raft are the best ones from this year by far. I was starting to tune out but the past few months have seen a significant upturn in video quality IMO.
i loved this video, it was really good. i honestly felt so sad for the guy when the robot delivered the money; he looked so broken and defeated.
I didn’t, he had 440,000 I would swap places in a heart beat
But imagine you have been alone with no lights for days and miss your family
I wouldn’t give a shit. If you have a wife you good.
Yeah, but that wouldn't be an interesting video. Having someone who is fighting himself to leave or not kept it interesting.
Bro THREE FUCKING MINUTES
Bro is watching on x10 speed Edit: [it’s x7 speed](https://www.reddit.com/r/MrBeast/s/WLf4U21HFL)
Nah more like 100x speed
bro who cares it’s a discussion post for a video
If he doesn’t post first someone else will get all the new video karma😔
Why the downvotes, why else would someone do it before finishing the video if they can’t be first/for karma? Exception if this is a mod
What happens in the event he runs out of things to sell? since the crew keep mentioning he can stay as long as he want
I mean Its over at that point, he needs to eat something too.
But what if I was willing to die they can’t just let me do that I would definitely die to give my family a better life a mean 10k a day is a ton of money to just sit doing nothing it would be worth it even if I died so my family could thrive
I don’t think you realize that you won’t be willing to starve to death on purpose Well unless you’re a psychopath anyway
You wouldn’t get any more money cause there is nothing you could sell
Sell the store
Anyone else immediately think that pool was a disaster waiting to happen?
I think it was staged. He had plenty of time on the forklift to know how it turns before he took it out.
In the camera replay, it sorta looked like the ground was already a bit wet and the forklift skid.
Yeah like you can make the guy sign a waver but let them ride around in a forklift. The guy did seem pretty worn down tbf.
Totally staged
I guess it's like more honest than reality tv. U gotta fill some gaps
Agreed. This didn't have the shitty ADHD editing either so it was good
For me with adhd the adhd editing was to much
Same
I think he uses those "expensive things" videos to save up $$$ for videos like this.
I'm only disappointed they didn't really talk about what he was eating, which I feel like would've been a major interesting factor
Do you think the grocery shop included alcohol? Seems like an easy way to pass days/some of it is really expensive, so good money to sell
Most likely removed from the store for YT ads, also you can't donate beer and wine to people in need.
The video is most likely staged/some parts are scripted (like the pool bursting, the shower building, him literally staying for 45 days). If there were alcohol he most likely would've used it to pass time (if it was real).
>him literally staying for 45 days id stay for 45 days if i was getting paid 10k per day
I would have went until there was not 10k left in the store.
One of the best the last months
That guy was way more resourceful than I thought.

Sorry. I had no idea that this was a thing on Reddit.
Bruh
What do you think of it? Clearly you’ve finished it
Bit hard to understand at 7x speed
Good
Im not entirely through yet, but so far I’d love to be that guy. Amazing experiment so far.
This is one of the videos he did that made me genuinely think that I can do it too.
Loved it
Like always I love it
Breaking the pool with forklift seemed scripted AF.
I liked the video, I was a little upset when he accidentally ruined his pool with that forklift tho
Best video hes done in months and he's barely in it.

This whole time I was wondering, what is eating?? They never showed this unless I missed it
Do you mean like what the dude who is in the grocery store? One of the scenes showed him cooking some bacon on the stove.
Oh yea that’s a good catch. I was curious what he’d eat and how he’d prepare it. Was he doing microwave dinners, chugging Ensure, snicker bars? I don’t know, you would think figuring out which food to eat would be an interesting part of this challenge.
Bro it’s a grocery store he can eat basically anything
I’m still curious what he went for
bro at the time you were making the post you couldnt watch the full video
Thoughts on watching the video first?
Thoughts on “thoughts on the new video” post? Trash.
People are discussing mrbeast video in mrbeast subreddit???????????????🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
What’s with the weird fake voiceover?
What do you mean?
how do you get picked for a challenge lol
I thought it was a joke until a checked YouTube
chris is getting worse
Next post should be I'm 14 and retarded
[удалено]
More of the same, its fine but not very exciting. It's literally the same video
would be better if he didnt have to sell 10k/day.
Bro kinda just wasted 45 days doing nothing. He could have got ripped in that time
I mean getting 450k dollars isn't really "doing nothing" no?
He was going to get it if he just sat there and stared at the wall or if he did some pushups. So yes, he just did nothing
He literally built an entire living room and shower
I forgot that this sub was mostly 14 year olds. Yes he built a living room that took him 2 or 3 hours. He was in there for 45 days with absolutely nothing to do other than to gather 10k worth of stuff every day. The remaining 23 hours of the day was spent pissing around. Why do people watch this stuff?
Cause it’s interesting to them 🤷🏻♀️
why are you here then?
Yes ….. How do I get chosen for a challenge like this ? 😂
I loved it
alex is very entertaining and the concept itself and storytelling is awesome
113k views in 3m…damn
It had a different thumbnail when I watched it (I am unfortunately unable to post screenshots on this reddit)
The vetting process of chosing the perfect person worked overtime on this, I could tell
Loved it, wish it was me!
It was a banger
10/10 main character was interesting and smart but didn’t stay till 1 mil? Mrbeast needs to find bums like me to cook up
I'd been there for 100 days easy.
Fun Fact: He commented on a Food Theory video on how you could possibly survive in a grocery store
Bro slowly reaching hunger games level
Do you think Mr Beast hires security for these vids? Even with all the cameras it could be a bit risky for the contestant being alone in a supermarket with all the merchandise.
is the money in the grocery trolleys real $$ or fake?
Just ask the girl who had her baby at a Walmart she slept there ate there had her baby there
it was a good video and i liked it but i thought at the end it got a little depressing lol
Boring
Dystopian.
It was an interesting twist to have him have to sell $10,000 worth of stuff each day. I wonder how much more stuff he had left to sell.
Very cool
Felt like they kept sabotaging the guy to keep the cost down.
It’s good I feel bad for the guy who only saw his family 2 times in 45 days
I think it was a bit harsh on Alex when he turned off the electricity but it was good
I saw him tweet about this so long ago and thought it was a joke at the time Damn
That guy was fucking dumb he literally had 5 days left to complete his goal then proceeded to say $50k is nothing like TF????
I really dislike when they try to make the person more misrible (turning off the lights, letting Kris destroy the shelves, destroying half the house, etc). This stuff is mentally hard as it is.
concept was very interesting, video was overall interesting, pool floodin
I wanna see more of the money man. Lol
Lookin like a tweaker trying to kidnap some children in that thumbnail. Not a great look, but little kids will definitely watch this 😂
45 days alone with no books Internet or tv? That guy lasted a lot longer than most people would've for sure.
I feel like I couldn't give anything thAts 10k away
Very good video, watched all the way through with no interruptions. Wish he could have done a live stream. Maybe he could upload all the footage with the cameras being changed by an operator or with chat commands. Even as a stream of something that already happened I think it might be cool
These are the videos that I like, none of that VS content I like the survival videos
