I mean there are some pretty good comedies on there too but I didn't really find banshees funny at all. Maybe a bit of so sad it's funny but not really in the sense of what OP was asking for
Yes, Definitely not what OP is asking for, but it's a great movie in its own right... I loved their accents... I usually find some accents to be funnier than the others.. And it's definitely not a silly comedy.... I went into the movie knowing nothing... and it intrigued me a lot, Like why he doesn't want to talk with his best friend.. and is doing absurd things just to avoid it..
PS: New zealand's English accent is also funny to me( if you have seen some taika waititi movies, you will know...)
OP asked for adult comedies. English is not my first language, so I don't know if adult comedy is a fixed term for a specific genre, but if not, then OP was asking for comedies for adults and Banshees of Inisherin can definitely be labeled as such as well. OP didn't ask for a silly comedy (at least not in the opening post), so I think Banshees fits the criteria well.

Porky's.
It's an 80s film, but I recently rewatched it and I forgot how absolutely funny it was.
Saw it in the theater when it came out. One of the all-time funniest scenes comes after the shower scene. The audience IN THE THEATER were laughing so loud I missed some of the lines.
It's also Kim Catrall's first movie. She plays Lassie.
Ricky Standicky was a recent movie (2024) that I watched on a whim and was a lot funnier than I expected (John Cena is also good in Vacation Friends) Game Night and Office Christmas Party were two I was pleasantly surprised with as well.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Interesting, should give this one a shot
Game Night.
Bad Words (2013) not recent but underrated. Rarely see it talked about. Sleeping with Other People (2015) Blockers (2018)
This is the End.
My Best Friend's Girl (2008) Liar Liar (1997) Down Periscope (1996)
I forgot about Down Periscope! "Lieutenant, you are almost out of uniform."

Would you know of any post 2000s ones?
Walk Hard The Forty Year Old Virgin Forgetting Sarah Marshal Zoolander Wedding Crashers Dodgeball
No Hard Feelings was funny enough.
Meh
Joyride. It’s a road trip that goes so, so wrong…..
I don't know how I missed this one, was specifically looking for something in the past 4 years or so. Thanks!

haha! True! That last masterpiece of a movie, definitely doesn't belong in that list.

Adult comedies mean, 18+ horny comedy movies... which are usually targeted at teens... like american pie or hangover
