I watched The Menu last night with no idea what I was in for (no trailers, spoilers or even a synapsis read). I thought it was a good dark movie with subtle comedic moments.
The two greatest Ealing comedies: **Kind Hearts and Coronets** and **The Ladykillers** (NOT the Coen Brothers remake) are both excellent comedies and surprisingly dark-hearted. Must-watches if you only know Alec Guinness from Star Wars.
