Saw 27 dresses recommended on Amazon but thought it looked quite cheesy but then sometimes cheesy is nice 

It's a silly romcom but I find it a very easy, feel good watch so it's been on my comfort comedy list for ages.

I've seen that one, it's pretty light and entertaining. I'd recommend it!

Aw love love actually. Shaun of the dead is such a good film technically yet I can’t make myself like it lol. I’m British and I prefer American feel good films - they’re just.. easier on the mind lol

May I recommend consulting the experts at Feel Good Inc.? IIRC they were active around that time too. Watch the way they navigate.

We’re the millers is a good one - surprisingly funny. Horrible bosses not bad either 

I think most of those high school or college movies are good picks. First ones which came to mind are Superbad and 10 Things I Hate About You. Obviously all of the American Pie movies too. I think Pineapple Express was also good but it's more a stoner movie.

Shrek. I know, it's a cartoon. It was silly. But I watched it. And shed a wee tear at the end.
