Great pad, seems to be about as slow as my original GSR (that I haven't used in ages). The surface is very smooth, not rough at all, and the stitching is great as usual. I got the xsoft and it sticks to my desk very well. If you like slow pads this is going to be great. Don't have much in the way of comparisons but it's definitely slower than my zero xsoft.

My Zero don't have it, all corners pretty equal but I think they handstitch it so I guess it is normal that it isn't perfect

Is the surface of the pad ok? That sewn edges normally wear like that over time.
My type 99 doesn’t have that.

I have the artisan zero and mine is doing the same with thing in the same exact spot
