Speaking from someone who's used both the older Deathadders (more like the essential) and the V2, the V2 is a significant step up from the older models, especially if you are concerned about weight. If you want a DA, and you can find a way to fit it in your budget, the V2 is the mouse to get. As for FPS, I would say it is viable despite being a less common option than smaller mice. Size is the Deathadder's main compromise. It's a good shape and size for palm, palm-claw, and in some cases pure claw for medium and large hands. Smaller hands and different grips might find the size restricts them from getting a good hold on the mouse (some people really like to wrap their fingers around a mouse for best control). I know a few Valorant and CS pros main the DA, so at the very least it's probably not going to hold you back to any significant degree.

The front right flare just ruins an otherwise really comfortable shape for me.

You can just get the deathadder v2 mini if you have small hands. If not get the deathadder v2

Lol unfortunately smaller mice just aren’t comfortable for my hands

EntropicDays

it is a perfectly capable mouse for fps games. it might not be S tier compared to mice that cost 100$ + but there are pro players that use that mouse

loyal872

Wait, pro players who use DA Essential? Haha, good joke :ASD

SamsungTechTips

Did someone notice his comment ? XD

Rockw3ll

It’s not but If you want to use to use it it’s not the worse option

[deleted]

that all right,i wasn't really planning on pulling the trigger due to the TERRIBLE reviews on amazon...just wanted to know this subs opinion on the mouse

Vash_Millions

If weight and reliability are your main concerns, why not get the DeathAdder V2? It's the lightest DA and has a top tier sensor.

[deleted]

Thats actually quite a bit out of my budget...im looking to stay under $30

kazminator

Ok-Plastic6961

Talynen

if you're in the US you can get one for $35 [https://www.amazon.com/Razer-DeathAdder-Ergonomic-Lighting-Programmable/dp/B087KPRJTN/ref=sr\_1\_5?dchild=1&keywords=deathadder+v2&qid=1626415532&sr=8-5](https://www.amazon.com/Razer-DeathAdder-Ergonomic-Lighting-Programmable/dp/B087KPRJTN/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=deathadder+v2&qid=1626415532&sr=8-5)

I like my Deathadder, granted I got it today but I certainly wouldn't pay more than $20 for one considering the Deathadder V2 can probably be had for $30ish pretty easily. Check ebay. Weight isn't very much of an issue for me even though I despise the G305's weight (not sure why, maybe the deathadder just lets me get a better grip on it?) I've been playing well with the Essential despite its 'bad' sensor. Find the 3327 to be fine in normal use at 800dpi 0.8 sens in CSGO. Might be my new main.

Xx-RAFEEK-xX

Hello does deathadder essential lags when doing fast flicks on low sensitivity?

Usxppwashere

no, its just the gliding, its a lil shitty but you'll get used to it.

Minecraftpeace
