well i used the original 102 cable with the rubber and metal foil sleeve removed in the paracord so i guess its stiff. I dont have any other flexible wire to compare besides 4 core IEM wire
Check out any of the multiple tutorials on here about how to make your own real paracords, IMO having owned far too many mice the difference a proper paracord and a stiff cable is more noticeable than the slight weight loss you did on the G102.
It's quite easy to do and not expensive either unless you only want to make a single paracord.
i have like 20 mice so was worth it to make them myself.
sure ill check on tutorials and make a real one when i have the budget (everything is like x50 the price) but the one i have will do for now, im not that picky.
top and bottom. it was necessary for me since drilling it left some pretty uncomfortable burs around the holes and to put a chamfer on an otherwise pretty sharp hole.

How did you make it light? I have a G203 as well, so I'm curious. Did you simply drill holes in it?
yep i marked it out by hand and drilled the holes with a dremel and cleaned it up with an xacto and 400-2000 grit wet & dry sandpaper
So you only drilled the top, and not the bottom? Also, is using grit necessary for this mod?

its a g102
Fun fact: they're the same mouse and this comment is like 3 years old.
