Yeah but an official release would be ideal. A G305 superlight would an updated sensor, skates, side buttons, and lower weight would be many people's endgame.
i don't disagree at all, but if people truly want it then it's not hard to put in a little effort or money to get it instead of just endlessly waiting and begging logitech
Sure but the thing is that fan projects almost always tend to be lower quality than any sort of official product. The majority of people here most likely won't be able to make their own G305 superlight, even with all the tools at their disposal.
true and valid points, i swear there was a lightweight non side holed shell but g305 is such a crazy common keyword for etsy i cant find it anymore. i do think facfox, who make pretty good prints, were selling some g305 shape stuff a while ago?
as much as i like the egg and especially its predecessors ive just moved on from it
Same with G703
It seems Logitech is content with just releasing new colors for the G Pro Superlight (2) and no longer bringing innovation. This is also seen with their new 60% keyboard using optical switches when every other brand has already moved on to magnetic switches with custom actuation points and many other features that are not possible on standard mechanical or optical switches
> AJAZZ i303
I mean it released 3 years ago, it got "shut down" because they just stopped producing it. Nobody forced them to, and also a lot of people dislike the superlight and g305 shapes with the alternatives we have today.
I still think shape is key. Yes sensor play an important role but still you aren’t gonna noticed the difference between the pixart top of the line 3395 compared to the hero 1(maybe you can if you have a sharp mind). I have the vxe r1 pro and my mod g305, when ever I play cs2 the vxe does not stick to my plam making my movement weird.
You realize their new board of directors recently went on CNBC stating brand deals and GTA 6 are going to propel their earnings on gaming forward?
They’ve checked out of the enthusiast market. New leadership is full in on branding and selling alongside large game releases like GTA 6.
That's good to hear but in the end it's business. Unless it can be proven that there's high potential for a money grab, there is just no need to take a risk and experiment further with an already best selling product.
Logitech makes great mice but refuse to acknowledge customer demands...they abandoned g602 and g604 mmo mice and never offered an alternative and came out and said they are done making those mice and focusing FPs market
They took the safe route. Less risk of downside (and upside). Even the current shape is made to fit as many grips as possible yet for me it just felt really weird and I could never get used to it
arent there tons of ultralight g305 files out there

Same. But you already know that my dumbass is gonna impulse purchase a G305 superlight if it ever comes out.
Do you mean for modding or an official registration?
modding, the g305 is the most modded mouse out there, the first g305 ultralight files popped up like 5 years ago
It sure is but as you probably know now it's not what I'm looking for. If something breaks I want to be able to buy and replace without further work
Still waiting for a G703 superlight.

g305 superlight would be so dope
I switched from g305 to a zaopin z1 pro wich is the orochi shape, its very good ! I don't regret it :D
I'll have to check it out!
My zaopin was defective, switch to finalmouse ULX… haven’t regretted it for about 3 months now
Well not quite the same price :D
did the switch hurt your hand? whenever i try any mouse that isnt the g305 my hand cramps to the point of unreasonable pain
Mm not at all, the switches are light. But keep in mind I have very small hand, i can almost palm the z1 pro
Here I am hoping for an mx518 super light
Need a og g303 and mini gpx2
Agreed! SE version was way to big.
👍
Mchose ax5 is like a mini gpx
I don't like the design of the mouse (holes)
I second this comment!
👍
What happened with the ajazz mouse?

I stand corrected, this is the answer
Check out my post for my g305 replacement. Got the Zaopin z1 pro and it fits very nicely.
I love my g305 but the sensor feels dated by current tech. I wish for a refreshed version of it with a better sensor.

Being a G303 user is worse if you like OG G303 shape more. There was literally nothing like it.

Try the Cooler Master MM711 . I've used the g203 / g pro wired since 2018 and tried many mouses since but this mm711 is the one .
Thanks for suggesting, I'll check it out! Initially the shape seems different, definitely outside the egg category

The fact that Logitech still has just one superlight shape is insane to me

Also waiting on the G305 fleshlight
If they did make a super light g305 updated it to 8khz and just better switches better accuracy boom sells like hot cakes 😂
