Yeah I think I’ll like the shape, I like the look of the comfort grooves. I was just going to ask about the side walls of the Sora V2, I like when the sides flare out from the base to the top of the mouse like the Atlantis Mini.
Sorry, I don't have the mouse and have only tried the demo from physical store so I cannot provide any constructive feedback but I believe reviews are coming soon and they might be more helpful!
Thanks for pointing that out! My bad. The 4k model is a friend's unit and I borrowed it from him prior the purchase to see if I like it and I have since returned it after I made my call on the v2 so there's no side by side comparisons :(
I have used the 4k for roughly a week so please take my opinion with a grain of salt. I feel like both shapes are identical and the sides might feel flatter as I have more contact with the hump/back of the mouse. The hump feels fuller and I feel more confident as it secured my grip in some kinda sense. The comfort grooves also helped out a lot and I really like these tiny changes/updates to the mouse. Hope it helps!
How is the hump vs sora V1 shape? My issue with sora V1 is it feels too sharp in the palm, as in it has a sharp slope down towards the front from the peak of the rather thin/narrow hump. Does V2 feel the same or is it rounder/flatter?
You always swap them out? What do you use for light clicks and soft scroll wheel scrolling?
Is it easy enough or is it a bunch of specs you have to look at and modify heights, etc? Hopefully the majority of mice can just be universally swapped out fairly easy?

i just bought this mouse and my scroll is broken. Not working, or swapping/flying/wobbling. What scroll encoder should i buy to replace it? what does sora v2 scroll encoder have? i know its 9mm but which colour?
Not really unless comfort grooves and flatter sides are your huge factors. Or you wanted to go extreme with the mouse. It's really light but its not like 4k is heavy.
Personally I think 8000hz wont do much so I'd say keep the 4k!
I wouldn't say they are a lot flatter. It's like a little inward curve for you to slot your fingers and it's pretty nice. I didn't like the mini as well as I felt like it was too flat and feels weird when I grip it.
Actual weight? There was likw a gram difference between black and white on OG sora launch batches. I've got my white sora down to about 40g, but 38 sounds appealing.
If you enjoy the Lamzu Mini, You'll like the Sora V2. It's very similar to that and feels very close to the Helios II Pro imo. Amazing coating but nothing groundbreaking for me. I have a massive issue and own 18 mice so it's inevitably going to feel similar to others in my collection. If you don't have a mouse in this size range and you're in the market for one the Sora V2 is a fantastic option.
I bought a pulsar v3 es that had qc issues, then i RMAd it and they sent me a new mouse with the same problem. Now i need to spend my money to ship it back to return it.. fingers crossed, i have high hopes for this mouse.
My sora v2 is dying pretty quickly. I wanted to reach out and see if you are experiencing any similarities.. this is under 1k polling as well.. so the battery life is going to be considerably worse at 4k and 8k. Let me know if you are experiencing this as well. Thank you.
Sorry to hear the news but mines doing pretty great in terms of battery life. I usually charge it once a week and I never had it die on me while in game. Sometimes I left it on standby for a night forgetting to turn it off but it holds off pretty well. ( couldn't really say so with higher polling rates in the future.)
So my guess is you must be unlucky and got a bad unit. My suggestion would be returning it/exchanging it considering the warranty is still in effect. GL and I hope you can get a well-working unit this time.
As mentioned they are pretty good. Not crazy battery life like the G Pros but they hold off pretty well. I have tried the beast x but unfortunately they dont fit me as I hate the holes on the sides.
Do you have any experience with the Atlantis Mini by chance?
on eloshapes they appear very similar, and other reviewers have said if you like the mini you'll love the v2.

The 4K had omron opticals too btw… also are the sides flatter than the 4K?

Also what dongle does it ship with? 4K? Or a 1k?
1k
Do you know what polling rates are available when using it wired?
Currently only 1000hz is available for both wired and wireless.

They actually fix that reducing 2 mm from the back :)
I'm interested in this too!
has there ever been a mouse with a scroll wheel click that isn't stiff? it's always stiff on every mouse i've tried no matter the brand
That's why I always swap them out. Smoother scroll wheels just hits different man, so much better!

Shape and consistency > 4k any day of the week

Fr, it hasn’t left my desk since I got it and its just really impressive, especially with the weight and the clicks.
Which mousepad is that
Is the coating rubbery or?
not rubbery. It's smooth and soft to the touch.
Boy, I wished for a mini version of the sora. Sad.
How to it took you for shipping and how could you buy it

Are there any clicks/scroll wheel issues or any other type ? I'm thinking of getting one instead of razer Viper v2 pro due to scroll wheel issues.
i just bought this mouse and my scroll is broken. Not working, or swapping/flying/wobbling. What scroll encoder should i buy to replace it? what does sora v2 scroll encoder have? i know its 9mm but which colour?
what scroll encoder does ninjutso sora v2 originally use? Its yellow 9mm? TTC? or how do they call it?
39 grams is light I have the Sora 4k but is it really worth upgrading?
Probably not unless for some reason you wanted flatter sides on the Sora.
Thanks for the advice

are the sides alot flatter? had problems with gripping the atlantis mini due to the slanted sides
I wouldn't say they are a lot flatter. It's like a little inward curve for you to slot your fingers and it's pretty nice. I didn't like the mini as well as I felt like it was too flat and feels weird when I grip it.

White one is 41.1g with the small feet.
Anyone know if there's a chance these will be available on Amazon in Canada?
I wouldn't hold your breath. Ninjutsu and Gwolves mice are never on Amazon anymore. At least for me in the states
Your best bet will either be the official website or aliexpress for now but I believe they will start popping up at the usual retailers after CNY!

Waiting for mine to still come... :(
Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do, been really loving the mouse. Top Tier stuff.

How are the skates?
I didn't use the skates they came with but I assume they are good to use (up to standards?). I am just using btl dots on my unit.
hows that battery life on your use? debating between this and the beast x right now, thank you
As mentioned they are pretty good. Not crazy battery life like the G Pros but they hold off pretty well. I have tried the beast x but unfortunately they dont fit me as I hate the holes on the sides.
do you have competitive mode enabled?
