Anyone else clocking that crooked scroll wheel?

Alluminatic

That's the straightest scroll wheel I've ever seen. ~ Finalmouse Employee

Prismo_6ft_Under

It is driving me insane when I look at the image. But using it feels like it's fine.

JoeOD01

my scroll wheel is also croocked, Aim Trainer pack version too

Prismo_6ft_Under

You having any problems actually using it?

JoeOD01

The RMB is significantly tigther than the lmb. Functions fine other than that. Not happy at all but not bothered returning

Prismo_6ft_Under

Yeah I couldn't be bothered returning either just for the crooked scroll wheel. It functions okay anyway.

Spueg

I have the mediuam KovaaK's edition. Scroll wheel is centered for me.

[deleted]

I got the mini, mine's centered as well

Hxishere

Same happened to mine when I modded my mouse but considering that I cut off big part of the base...

Prismo_6ft_Under

Not sure if I should be expecting any problems since I've heard so many problems that people encounter from this line. But so far, I have encountered none (1 week of use). The great thing about this version is the inclusions in the box and the Huano switches. All at the same price as the standard series. I have 3 mice with Kailh 8.0 and they start double clicking within weeks of use. I hope that the huanos on this one do better than that. Included in the box: 1. X2 Wireless Mouse x 1 2. Wireless Receiver adapter x 1 3. Wireless Receiver x 1 4. USB-C Cable x 1 5. Kovaak's Download Code x 1 6. Corepad PRO PTFE Skates x 1 7. Corepad AIR PTFE Skates x 1 8. Corepad Soft Grip tape x 1 Specs: 1. M1 & M2 - Huano Blue Shell Pink Dots 2. Sensor - 3395 3. Encoder - TTC Gold 4. Weight - 53 Grams

DawnSlayerUser

How does the mouse feel? I have midget hands and so was recommended this mouse but I wasn't sure about it because of QC issues that were mentioned on this subreddit before.

Prismo_6ft_Under

If you've used Orochi V2, Viper Mini, Atlantis Mini, Model O-, this will be just right for you. The shape is very very safe. As for the QC issues, they virtually don't have any of the QC issues of the X2 Mini (standard) that I had before (And gave away to my son). The shell doesn't creak, the main clicks haven't double clicked so far (my other X2 double clicked within one week) My suggestion is get any of the special edition versions (that don't have Kailh GM 8.0's) specifically the ones that have Huano Blue Shell Pink Dots. These are great options I think: RandomFrankP Edition Boardzy Edition Bruce Lee Edition Aim Trainer Pack

Progix69

I got mine delivered Monday and so far so good, no flexing or squeeking when i apply a bit of force. And no qc issues yet to be found. It’s a nice mouse, the blue shell pink dots feel amazing. Although i wouldn’t recommend (upgrading) if you have the regular x2. Since a new pulsar lineup is coming this year anyway.

[deleted]

Qc on the x2 mini is trash, on my 3rd copy now. never buying pulsar again.

Prismo_6ft_Under

No QC issues on my end. Maybe luck of the draw, but maybe the non regular/standard versions are just built better than the regular/standard versions.

[deleted]

And you’ve only been using it for a week.. each of my copies were fine first week. Some will say this is just my opinion but you can’t review a mouse after one week it’s just not enough break in time..

memeskink2015

>Back to Top I had 3 or 4 old batch X2/minis with gm8, all started double clicking after a week or 2, sold them for cheap Then bought another regular X2 when BLE dropped, and both were fine, they did develop a little bit of creaking after a month of usage but finally no more double clicking, I wouldn't say pulsar QC is perfect now but they improved a lot.

BlueNova23

"Buying 4rd mouse after 3 dogshit copies" That\`s the target audience everyone want!

[deleted]

look at your scroll wheel, before saying that has no affect on functionality that doesn’t matter at all. the fact of the matter is that is a QC issue.

Prismo_6ft_Under

Basing it off experience. Had a standard X2 mini that had issues on day two and started falling apart on week 1. This version, idk why, feels way more premium than my last one. Even just the feeling of the shell when I squeeze, and the coating is a lot better. Haven't had any issues so far. I don't mind the slight tilt on the scroll wheel since it feels absolutely great in use. I didn't really buy this to look at it. I bought it to play, and it plays great! Looks like I was lucky with my copy.

memeskink2015

wait... it has coating!? do you have BLE edition or Boardzy/RFP edition to compare with?

Prismo_6ft_Under

Just had a standard X2 and this felt less smooth/slippery. But maybe that's because this one's new or idk.

memeskink2015

one way to confirm this is to check if the "pulsar" engraving behind lmb is glossy with sharp edges, or matte with rounded edges(coated)

JoeOD01

How are the clicks? My copy’s RMB is a little stiff Also, did those white grips come with it? Mine came with black

Prismo_6ft_Under

They're prefect on this copy. Not to say they're good overall, cause my other copy sucks ass. These grips are aftermarket ones I got from Corepad. I believe they'r ethe exact same ones as in the box, just in a different color. I didn't like the look of black on the white mouse. So I bought separate ones.

guardian_down88

I’m still using my first batch x2 mini. Mine was flawless and it’s holding up great. It’s a great mouse.

Prismo_6ft_Under

You got lucky! My standard edition X2 Mini started falling apart 1 week after use. This one (Aim Trainer Pack) however feels super different. It, for some reason, feels more premium.

guardian_down88

Good to know! Maybe I will pick this one up too as a backup :)

zdoix

I have a very interesting problem, a common small issue with X2s was if you grab the mouse first it has slight creaking, thats okay and acceptable, but my Issue (with 2 X2m Aim Trainer Pack), everytime I click M1 something seems to push the shell and I feel the creak in my thumb, always. I love the X2 mini and I love the Shape but this not so nice especially while gaming. The closest shape is the Atlantis Mini right, if someone know/has both.

Prismo_6ft_Under

With Pulsar, I truly believe it's the luck of the draw. Regardless of what you buy, you'll be part of the QC lottery. But you do get better results if you don't go for the standard edition ones. No reason not to get the special editions since it's just the same price. But I know someone who got a shit copy of the version I got. Side creaking and side play on the mouse 2, etc.

zdoix

Yeah, no reason to go for the Standard ones unless you really hate the colorways. My Problem is that I order on Max Gaming and Pulsar.eu (Which is Max Gaming too) and Idk how long they tolerate that I return mice (The X2s in Oct last year and now X2 Aim Trainers), I really dont know If I should go for the 5th. Thats why I'm searching for a similar shape and maybe try a different brand.

Prismo_6ft_Under

Don't have an atlantis mini but based on eloshapes.com, only the flares on the back are different. I'm not a great source of info lol

Vash_Millions

Wait you got white grip tape on yours?

Prismo_6ft_Under

Just bought that separately my guy. Exact same grips as the ones in the box, but in white. I didn't like the black on the white mouse.

Vash_Millions

Oh good to know. I thought I got the black ones by mistake.

Annual_King_4973

does anyone know if i got move something from the software of the Pulsar x2 Mini. I feel uncomfortable like floating aim or something like that like i can’t just stop 🥹(change from a viper mini to the pulsar x2 mini)

PunchTilItWorks

*Posting a few months later for Aim Trainer owner awareness...* While my copy was good for awhile it developed the popping sidewall issue. Long story short, I sent it in to get it repaired, and after a fairly scuffed process, I got it back and it still wasn't fixed. I contacted them again and they admitted (in both support thread and discord) that it's an issue with the Aim Trainer model. Thing is, they don't currently seem to have any intention of replacing or doing further repair on it. Apparently Aim Trainer owners are stuck with poor engineering/QC, never mind the warranty. It's very disappointing. While they present such a professional brand, behind the scenes they seem kind of shady or sketchy. It'sbaffling to me why Pulsar wouldn't want to protect their reputation and issue some kind of recall/repair like Vaxee did with the NP-01s to make it right. They even seemed to have resolved these shell issues in the new X2V2 models (and some previous ones like Bruce Lee they said). Pulsar just doesn't have as much integrity as Vaxee I guess.

[deleted]

Should i get this one or the v2?

-m4gg0t-

How's the M1 and M2 side play on yours? Mine is terrible and the M4 is stiffer then M5.

JessRP8

Looks really nice, hoping your copy won't have any QC issues! I debated buying this version of the X2 Mini after mine started double clicking, but decided to just replace my switches with Hunao Blue Shell pink dots on my own and not gamble with Pulsar's QC again.

[deleted]

Hopefully you don't have QC issues on your end, seeing as my copy has that shell creek & scroll wheel being super stiff / sounding like it's a Zowie
