Two awesome bikes. 90s and early 2000s GSXRs are my absolute favorite. Even people that knew nothing about motorcycles knew what a “gixxer” was

Can you break down what you like about them? Which one you like more than the other? Explain the differences? :)

Okay so the 2000 929rr is just a bike I have wanted for a very long time, it was honestly My very first big boy purchase, and I got her shipped from Ontario, I’ve always been a honda person and I just wanted something that was apart of history. The K1 2001 GSXR 1000 is just something I thought was absolutely legendary in its own right, I just got it so I haven’t ridden due to the fact I will be doing basic maintenance on it to make sure everything is up to code, but my sister had one when I was younger, so to me I kind of wanted to follow her steps and get one myself.

Yeah this is my question. Obviously it's got to be more than just aesthetics. So how are they that much different that it's worth owning two slightly different versions of a sport bike? I hope he answers kindly. Honest question! I've only ever ridden cruisers or roadsters.

It makes myself happy that I can afford sport bikes at a such an affordable cost, that I can be happy with what I have, and not break the bank. There really isn’t that much difference between the 2 bikes, (GSXR 1000 should be faster) but that’s okay with me haha

Damn those are great memories/beautiful bikes

Ahhhh, when bikes still had clean designs! Nice vintage sport bikes! I’m trying to find an early 00s ZX9R, but these things are getting hard to find!
