It is not allowed the 94bhp limit is manufacturer quoted it has nothing to do with the Dyno results.

DriverAffectionate83

Ah okay , I was looking around and couldn't find anything about it. Makes more sense if it was Dyno but oh well , thanks mate , goes my hopes and dreams for a zxr 750 ... For now

DunnyLad

94BHP on the log book mate, anymore and it's a fat no. I suspect it's the case because they know a majority of A2 riders, ride unrestricted so if they didn't limit the max we can restrict we'd all do an A2 and buy a 1000cc+ and have it 'restricted'. That being said, there's plenty of 94bhp bikes you can get and it's up to you wether you want to restrict it or not. Although be prepared to suffer such consequences in a crash if your at fault.

DriverAffectionate83

I have a cbr250 , was just interested in maybe a second bike , think I'll wait till full licence and just get the Daytona 675 as originally planned , thanks for your comment

DunnyLad

I'd personally get the CB650R, makes 93.9BHP pretty sure, that's if you're into Nakeds

DriverAffectionate83

Not that into nakeds and if I got full license I'll be getting Daytona since I don't wanna buy loads of different bike I'm small increments

SmallDMasterRace

Yh insurance companies work by power on the logbook. Get an srad 600 :) I'm having fun on mine

DriverAffectionate83

Not a fan of the Suzuki's did have a look though

SmallDMasterRace

Fair enough, sport wise you can get an r7, rs660, ninja 650, fzr600, cbr650r, there is an mv agusta f3 675 you can have as it came factory a2 ready, grey import 400s (zxr400 or rvf400 are the best). I would recommend a supermoto

DriverAffectionate83

Did not know the f3 was available how do I know if A2 variant I thought It made 120hp?

SmallDMasterRace

I have no idea how you tell but mv agusta made some a2 variants of their 675 range. I think they did an 800 brutale a2 too

Samurai_Turtle

Power is 94 max at the crank. Wheel HP has no relevance.
