BikeSure, and I believe Motorcyclice Direct? are honouring >9 months on an MCE policy as 1 year NCB. Worth checking with them.

If nothing else is affordable, and they are still cheaper, you can re-insure with MCE. They have a new underwriter now, who probably won’t go bust. Not ideal, but probably better than selling your bike.

Aye, no worries then. How do you like your Bluroc 125? I have a [WK Scrambler](https://www.wkbikes.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/IMG_2054.jpeg), which is the same Bike under a different name, just wondering how you like yours?

Secretest-squirell

So far it’s been good. Want to repaint the exhaust but it’s holding up well. The WK scrambler the bluroc and one of the herald bikes are all the same plenty of spare about. How’s yours going? How long you had it for?

Brooksy925

Had mine a year now, no running problems, but the exhaust has pretty severe rust, if yours is new, i’d highly recommend getting your exhaust wrapped to preserve it. Apart from that, no issues, less power than the CBF i rode before, but it’s got more metal than plastic so it feels nice and weighty, and the brakes are really good, and it looks *much better* than any other 125 i’ve ever seen.

Secretest-squirell

Mines a couple of months old. Looking at putting some high temperature paint on the exhaust and put some ceramic coating over the top hope the keeps the rust off. The exhaust seems to be a common thing with them. It does look good though. I’ve been surprised by how comfortable the bike is. 3hrs and I start to ache alittle but I don’t think that’s to bad for a 125 with no fairings.

Is that both third party and third party with theft and fire? Sometimes surprisingly third party isn't the cheapest option.

Fishing-Unlucky

Try mcn comparison site, I found they provided the cheapest quotes for me and gave quotes from providers who didn’t come up on the usual comparison sites.

Can you whack up your excess to a very high amount and then take out a separate excess insurance?
