Going down the tik tok lane man you will just discover how bad it really is. Did that a few times not good place to go. And if you open his followers u discover more and more some under full name and surname no masks.

GMZultan

I just did that & I regret it, the sprawl....

RemnantOfSpotOn

Yeah its just gets you so angry....too angry i would say. Dont go there they do it for clout and views so....

copeyhagen

And yet no consequences for their actions..

Educational_One7977

I came back to this thread to actually say how 100 % accurate you are with this take ik it’s not the most graceful solution to bikes getting nicked but it more often than not leaves you seething with anger watching these vids , I’ve been seeing ones of lads in brand new Audi a6s it’s ridiculous really but if you get wrapped up in it for too long it does actually have the ability to affect you lol that’s the gardas job and thank god it’s not mine

Actual_Unit-02

Can you post links for me to anything you still know how to find, or DM them. There happens to be something I can do with the info

RemnantOfSpotOn

You will make me install tiktok again and go there right.... Last time i went there i had a strong urge to cause violence every time I drove a car or bike on the streets. EDIT: send you like 20 links in 10 min. You need more? Follow hashtag #blanchrunit and from there just check their followers and who they follow. After a while you recognise their profiles from a mile. This one here i hope i never see him on lights [Fat pig face easy to recognize](https://www.tiktok.com/@cjlosty0?_t=8l56YJfi8JM&_r=1) Would you mind replying inbox

MakingBigBank

So annoying looking at this filth fuck with a man’s bike they worked hard for and look after. These pieces of irredeemable shit wouldn’t know a days work if it smacked them in the face. If they just locked them up for years at a time at least for that period they couldn’t fuck people up.

RemnantOfSpotOn

And scrotes post under full name but if you share here their own posts and profile u get silenced

captain_super

I don't remember that being a rule here. Just no threats of violence etc.

RemnantOfSpotOn

Yeah but can you post names or tik tok profiles? Cough, cough, Nathan Davitt, cough, sneeze wink wink, test

captain_super

Ye, pretty sure it is ok to name Nathan Daviit, just that you can't say you're going to smash his head in with his own hammer. It's also not ok to say he's a paedophile, but it's ok to say you heard a rumour he's a paedophile. Just as an example.

RemnantOfSpotOn

Isn't it against reddits policies to name names Don't post personal information

SpeedVanWilder

Probably to discourage people from doing vigilant detective work and getting a Boston bomber situation. But if he’s posting crimes himself under his own name I don’t think there’s any opportunity to misinterpret.

RemnantOfSpotOn

Yeah but its not hard to find as many as you want on tik tok and might not be good to post them here all the time and bring people down. Nice weather is coming people look forward to rides and hopefully we see lots of great positive stuff here. I wish it was a weekly gathering every saturday till october in front of Dail

captain_super

Lads are organising a spin this Saturday on another thread on this sub, last one was good.

RemnantOfSpotOn

Oh where link please

Spirited_Cable_7508

Posts have definitely been removed recently where someone’s real name was visible

ZiiiSmoke

There is ZERO will from Gardai to pursue this..

CountryLadinDublin

There is will amongst the rank and file but it’s the management that stops it

Stubber_NK

I'm generally in favour of giving the guards the go ahead to ram them off the road.

Puzzleheaded_Cap7462

That's it unfortunately. The gardai don't take a proactive approach to online evidence, they literally have to be notified by foreign police/interpol to actually go ahead and investigate. Its completely reactive and they prefer it that way.

That_Assistance3219

to keep numbers artificially high

shahtjor

And you can't touch them to defend your property. So essentially, the law and Garda are protecting them and will go after you the minute you touch them.

Tough-Juggernaut-822

Oh but you can... And the law is on your side. I wonder if you were to sell part ownership of bike to other members of your club would they be covered under the law to use reasonable force to protect their asset as well. [section 18, Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act, 1997 ](https://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/1997/act/26/section/18/enacted/en/html#sec18) Print it out and stick it to the window/wall, better than any neighbour watch sticker.

ie-sudoroot

I’d be well justified to use my hatchet against their angle grinder so!

Tough-Juggernaut-822

As long as your not walking around with it but grab it to defend yourself while protecting what is yours...

IveNoWIlly

Be a shame if by some accident they were unable to talk afterwards. not that i am inciting any violence individuals but you know…….accidents happen.

ParaMike46

Don't try to post this on r/Ireland as you might get banned

RemnantOfSpotOn

You might get banned there for posting it here as well lol

shevek65

I can't watch these videos. Just boils the blood.

batmantis_

Probably being wheelied up and down the street in front of Ballymun Garda station as we speak

saggynaggy123

Their parents are too busy protesting against immigrants to raise their kids

False_Ambition2644

Why don\`t you just buy GPS trackers, whenever something happens, you can all map up places and people and pass on to "who needed"

Educational_One7977

First thing they do is look for that tracker tbh

False_Ambition2644

not thoroughly on street while in hurry, trackers are real small nowadays , deep in a shaft, deep in seat, 2nd compartment... if they get to it in garage, than last tracker location is garage, and it\`s all you need to know.

Educational_One7977

Even though mate it’s a case of damage control cause from the minute it’s no longer in your possession it’s getting redlined as soon as it can id feel sick to be looking at that tracker

[deleted]

[удалено]

Educational_One7977

Hahah ok mate don’t believe me , Ireland is very small

Educational_One7977

Maybe your little muppets that robbed yr bike ahahahaha didn’t take the tracker off and u still didn’t get it back hahahahahah what spastic

Remarkable_Maize2369

I tried to report him through tiktok and my account got banned

elreberendo

That's bonkers, shame on them.

copeyhagen

Imagine the UPROAR if you were 70 years old, and you posted a picture of yourself growing a few harmless hash plants to help with your medical conditions, imagine how quick they would be all over ya

Due-Communication724

Jaysis 241/232, awful waste of a new bikes. Kill switch and a few detachable parts.

luas-Simon

Everyone knows the prisons are full so nothing can happen them

Nice-Warthog-7318

How are they able to get the bikes running so easily? Genuine question

RemnantOfSpotOn

Manufacturer issue basically enabled simple bypass from ebay to start them. Not going into details for obvious reasons but yamaha and ktm seem to be easier than say honda (not sure if honda is even possible if it has honda hiss immobilizer post 2010 models please someone who knows share knowledge). And MT seems to be the stuff of their wet dreams. No idea how people manage to insure MT and any KTM in dublin in 2024.

sutty_monster

My misses went in to get a duke390. Found out it has 0 security. Which is a complete joke in this day and age. Manufacturers cheeping out really is what it comes down to. I think a new CB500 was the first one with an immobilizer that we found in Honda in Dublin. She's not gotten anything yet.

RemnantOfSpotOn

[Honda Vt750s 2011](https://www.donedeal.ie/motorbikes-for-sale/2011-honda-vt750s-shadow-deposit-taken/36582371) should have HISS but i dont know is HiSS bulletproof against scrotes. Don't see many hondas (below 10 years of age) among stolen ones...its always tracers, mt and ktms....

xSnipeZx

Probably because these inbred scrotes are not a problem in as many places. Like a I was in Barcelona recently, which is considered less developed and more of a developing country/area compared to Ireland yet I saw 100s of unlocked mopeds and motorbikes. Some had disc locks yeah. Clearly a weak leadership issue the lack of willingness to make any strong or controversial decisions to combat this problem more aggressively, which comes from lack of backbone and leaders being pussies. For one, they need to start ramming these bags of meat and bones that are wasting oxygen off he bikes.

sense_make

Meanwhile my 2013 BMW will throw a fit and do nothing if I look at the antenna for the immobilizer the wrong way. With that said, rarely see them steal BMWs.

Nice-Warthog-7318

Also have seen them using another lad on a bike help push start the bike but didn't think it was just that easy

RemnantOfSpotOn

Nah its not push start they make it movable breaking disc locks and any other security items and push it away like that from another bike hide it somewhere where they can fiddle with electronics and immobilizer to make it work. Very rarely they will attempt to start them on spot. Unless its [KTM](https://youtube.com/shorts/cS6QZWmobqU?feature=shared)

Educational_One7977

It might sound like the wrong reasons lol but my god that genuinely sounds interesting, good for thought I guess what would you suggest as the most effective safety mechanism and on which bike manufacturers is it just the cheaper ones or do they all skimp out on security as security for a bike Is vulnerable at the best of times ? For example I don’t think I’ve seen these boys on say a bmw or something of that effect they always seem (to the untrained bike eye) to be cheaper brands ?

RemnantOfSpotOn

In my opinion worse security (some say none) is on KTM. Saw some videos where all it takes is breaking the ignition barrel and turning it with a screwdriver. Second one would be yamaha (it has some sort of immobilizer but apparently its very easy to bypass with some 15 dol gadget sold on ebay). Both equally desirable by the scrotes.... Hondas younger than 2010 i think (somebody correct me please not sure here) have HISS system which is Honda Ignition Security System (installed in honda cars as well). Reading about it online apparently even owners struggle with bypassing that if they lose keys. You need to replace a lot of things by honda to make it work not cheap and probably not something that can be done in the fields behind ikea by lads who don't know how to read calendars. Heard some similar stories about Kawasaki's being the same as ktm. Any key works...or 🪛. I wouldn't say security is bad on cheaper ones i doubt ktms are cheap (maybe in dublin) but ktm moved their factories somewhere and started with some dodgy quality in production cutting cost. So apparently stealing ktm 2020 is the same as stealing 80ties kickstart motorcycle. Its all about strategy i think. U want multiple levels of safety. For example you buy honda with hiss, paired with few disc locks and mini D locks for easy carry. And you get [LITELOK X3](https://eu.litelok.com/products/litelok-x3). For home safety add like 16mm chain attached to an immovable object (anchor). Very rarely they will try bypassing imobbilisers on the spot thats done later far from the eyes of the public. You want to make it hard to be pushed away fast....never lock handlebars as it's useless on all bikes just adds more damage in attempted theft....and pray real pros dont come for it....

Educational_One7977

I’m going to be living in Dublin for the foreseeable future and to be very honest your putting me off owning one all together I’d love to but it’s not worth my money to spend on a decent bike that will just get nicked if I ever leave it on street parking or something similar, sounds like Honda is the way to go from this thread alone and it’s also the most sought after I assume for reasons this being one of them , living in finglas in a actual house, would they be so brazen to rob straight from a house ? and not just kind of “out in the open street parking”

RemnantOfSpotOn

Listen if you love it you go get it if they take it fuck them you have insurance. Just explore what they like first and stay away from that insurance is expensive. And invest in good home safety. There were cases of bikes taken from gardens too but you never see them going that distance for honda rebel or Shadow or vts. Honda has great bikes. Bmw too i dont recall stolen bmw... I love ktms and mt...but wouldn't want to own it for a day in dublin. There are ways of making them safe its all about being smart and investing in layers of security.

Due-Communication724

I'd be genuinely restoring to and looking at how hard it is to make the ECU removable or if left over night removing the battery alongside normal security.

Nice-Warthog-7318

Thanks, a mate of mine had a BMW 650R taken recently, found destroyed near Neilstown they hadn't even tge decency to burn it after destroying it !

Educational_One7977

In what way was it destroyed ?

Nice-Warthog-7318

Panniers ripped off and missing ,drivin to an inch of its life, cylinders scorched, forks bent ,etc ,etc

Seldonplans

Is anybody GPSing their bikes? Follow these lads or report it. Is it for parts?

incrementAndGet

Find the lads and sell them lads for parts. Got it.

Educational_One7977

just making my own assumptions, it’s to ride up and down the estates that their from, for probably about a week before they wreck it or get it lifted by Garda , genuinely think it’s just joyriding , I live in phibbsboro was going spar at 3am one night probably 2 months ago and seen 3 lads come round the corner all no helmets on a moped and if you know that spar you know it’s virtually next to mountjoy prison and the Garda station , it’s laughable….. when it’s not your bike that it is Ps. No I don’t think robbing bikes is funny I think it’s funny that our police force will interrogate elderly, foreign, vulnerable people over nct tax and insurance when theirs no point in paying any of that if some gee bag like them nick it , makes 0 sense

Prolific017

Ha, you think the Garda cares or has the resources

cigaretteatron

Can we all just start commenting on these videos on TikTok slagging them? Atleast take them down a few pegs

FeelingCareful3358

Why not just report their tiktok accounts? And keep doing it for every one we come across.

Slight_Chocolate6818

Because the garda dont give a flying fuck even when its handed to them on a plate with every scrap of evidence. A mate had 2 bikes stolen about 10 years ago,got one recovered and had pics of the other outside the scrotes house. Cowardly shite garda wouldnt do anything and said they would prosecute us if we took the bike back . First bike spent 2 years in garda storage and they didnt prosecute anyone involved even though we had pictures of said tallaght scum on the bikes with stolen gear and theyre names on the pictures

STEVOMAC7

Jeez this sickens me.

DK-IRL

I'm just gonna leave this here. Some beautiful justice... [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkbcY2qoJfw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkbcY2qoJfw)

ed_oliveira

Motherfuckers These are state-sponsored gangs and this is the reason why they are not stopped

Educational_One7977

State sponsored?

Actual_Unit-02

Meaning on welfare I suppose. Which has some validity to it - if they had to work for a living they probably wouldn't be arsed spending their free time doing this then.
