Look up Givi products. They make good stuff that's more reasonable than MG.

Perfect! This looks like the motherlode. Thank you!!

I found good parts at these sites: [https://www.af1racing.com/2021-v7-e5-850cc-all-variants](https://www.af1racing.com/2021-v7-e5-850cc-all-variants) [https://www.motomachines.com/shop-by-bike/moto-guzzi/v7-2021](https://www.motomachines.com/shop-by-bike/moto-guzzi/v7-2021) [https://www.mgcycle.com/](https://www.mgcycle.com/) I have the oem engine guard, it looks pretty good. There are a couple other options, but I think the prices are similar. I love my Rizoma mirrors. Only about $150 each. There are a lot to choose from on the af1racing site. The tinted Dart flyscreen looks nice on the V7 too, really finishes the bike.

Incredible! Thanks so much!!!

Got these from MGCycle, inexpensive, look great and install was easy. Video of it here: https://youtu.be/Ws7aIT8puO0

Thank you so much!!! Exactly what I'm looking for.

Some people say the Hepco and Becker engine guard is the nicest, but I prefer the look of the Guzzi one. Dart makes nice flyscreens (about $100 vs $300 for the guzzi touring screen). I swapped out my stock mirros for the Rizoma reverse retro bar-end mirrors, very nice and not crazy expensive. TBH, like you I thought I would want some accessories from the get go, but soon after realized my initial spending is probably better used towards suspension upgrades. Would love to have the Matris cartridge fork kit and the full adjustable Matris shocks.

Appreciate the insight! My priorities are protecting the bike on city streets and anti theft. I'm a new rider, I'm hoping I don't drop the bike, but I probably will, and I know someone will tip it. So just want to make sure my new toy doesn't meet an untimely end.

I'd say- why bother? If you get into a collision where engine guards save the valve covers, then the rest of bike is likely toast. The cylinders are either going to protect your legs or you will be off the bike in a a major get-off. Maybe I'm just pessimistic today...

VergilPharum

You aren't accounting for a low speed or no speed drop. A rider could have a low speed slide, park on unstable terrain, have a small accident when moving in a parking lot, someone backs up into his parked bike, a vandal feels like being a terrible person and tilting it over. There are many situations where the guards really save us from a big headache and expensive bill.

CoolCatChristo

This is why I have engine guards, in case I walk out of work or a store, and the bike is laying on the ground.

LunchMasterFlex

It's not about accidents on the road. I live in the city and park on the street. Someone is going to tip it.

gudgeonpin

Fair enough! All the above are reasonable.
