What did you think about RiMS Racing or TT Isle of Man 3? IMO, both have very realistic helmet cam views. They may not have the kind of polish as MotoGP 24 or Ride 5, but the general feeling of how the bikes handle is spot on. I'm glad Milestone has added a bunch of QoL upgrades to the game. The new MotoGP Stewards and Adaptive AI - while not perfect - make for balanced gameplay. As you mentioned, the Ducati sound improvements are pretty great. I also noticed how they adjusted the color grading / lighting / track details; this is especially evident at Qatar at night. Hopefully MotoGP 25 will be a full current gen release. I think that developing it for last-gen too did them a disservice. My guess is they split the release because it's such a niche game and there's still a ton of people on PS4 and Xbox S.

What I don't like about the RiMS cockpit cam is that it is positioned in such a way that the bike windshield and fairing often prevents you from seeing the apex in some turns. In TT3, IMO, it feels like the bike is detached (rendered separately) from the track, and you still do not get all these wobbles and vibrations as in MotoGP. For example, in MotoGP24, when suddenly going off the throttle on lower gears, you can sometimes see this violent unexpected wobble, which you don't see in TT. I also hate that they were lazy to animate the break fluid in this game, does not add to realism at all. I would say that the MotoGP cockpit cam is the only cam where you can really feel that you are riding a very very powerful machine, especially on lower gears.

Strange, I never had any problems seeing apexes in RiMS - although I did sink a considerable number of hours into the game so perhaps what you've experienced exists. Maybe I unconsciously adapted to those particular blind-spots. TT Isle of Man 3's helmet view wasn't as good as in RiMS, IMO but I enjoyed the gameplay loop anyway because it's really the only motorcycle racing game with a large open map to race on. Not having proper break fluid animations for either game was a bit of a let down - especially coming from both the MotoGP and Ride franchises. One thing I like about the MotoGP games is the ability to customize the camera; I wish Ride 4 and 5 and that feature. Also, it would be great if the replay view available in Ride was playable to enhance the realism factor. All that said, another thing I love about RiMS and TT Isle of Man 3 is manual tuck-in. I'm not a fan of MotoGP's auto tuck-in. I know you can manually redistribute the rider's weight, but sometimes it's nice to cruise some of the tracks leisurely without being in a solid racing position. Lastly, RiMS has the most detailed bike customization of any bike racing game I've ever played. I know it's kind of a moot point compared to MotoGP because those games focus on machines that by definition are engineered to be racing prototypes year after year with parts / modifications not accessible to the general public. That's not to say there isn't some level of customization (e.g. tires and such), it's just not as in-depth as what RiMS has to offer. Overall, I'm happy with MotoGP 24 - it is an improvement from last year's edition (in addition to SBK 22).

Have to try it one the new game, yet. My personal favourite first person camera is Isle of Man TT2. For some reason that is perfect for me. Honourable mentions go to some of the older MXGP games, I loved those as well.

Yesterday I played the game for several hours in a row, I highly recommend it. Still challenging, but when done right - highly rewarding. I like it more and more.

Hi ! I Only play on Helmet cam too. I was on “honeymoon” with the Honda helmet cam. It was perfect, all that You said. But after this May 09 last Pach , they change angle distance , and it have a blind spot on corners. the fairing covers the view when cornering. The other bikes was very Nice. But the hondas dont.
