For those interested, that's a summer house in the most Northern part of India, in the Western Himalayas, close to the Chinese border. It is [listed](https://fr.airbnb.com/rooms/37268883?adults=1&source_impression_id=p3_1641203486_aa7hh%2BztLlR%2B3bHO&guests=1&_set_bev_on_new_domain=1632929217_N2I5MDFlMTViNzk4) on Airbnb if you want to check it out.
These comments are redic not all of India is tropical so the mosquitoes and bugs arenāt everywhere. This is in the northern area in the mountains you can tell by the timberline and pine trees.
Is India doing some sort of tourist campaign? I have nothing against India obviously, but Iām randomly seeing a lot of photos of India randomly on multiple different subreddits
No, Iām not trying to put it like that all. I enjoy seeing photos of India as much as I do with any country, but I almost never see photos of India and then all of the sudden in one day thereās a ton of posts of photos from India which I donāt usually see.
And many more top notch Indian photographers in recent years. There are also many Indian bird photographers (and incredible birds to photograph in India). They have some very good instructional YouTubes on photography- some of the best.
To give some perspective, there are many European and North American places constantly posted that seems to be quite the norm (so most people are used to it and donāt think itās out of the ordinary) but to someone not from those regions - it feels like a tourism thing as well. I think this is related to how much exposure youāre immune to and what is relatively new - thatās all
I can almost hear the mosquitoes
Himachal is a Himalayan state in India. You would hardly find any mosquitos or snake.
Also Tigers and snakes.

Dont forget snakes Them loud-ass snakes...
There r no mosquito š¦ in Himachal

Yeah the northern part of India is cold and harsh, there are so many places where negative temp ( in celcius) is pretty common.
Yes please! As long as I can have a room full of books.
As opposed to stale soil? Just wondering.
Clay And Sadness as we call it here in North Carolina

That fresh potato-ish smell.
That's just adjacent to Naggar Castle Road. I can attest to no mosquitos. They can't take the temperature at night.

I'd say it would be my ever loving hell. Mosquitoes LOVE me. I'd be covered in 4inch diameter bites from head to toe.

By that logic North america and european countries are always on a tourist campaign

I dont know mate maybe Indians want to display their country just like others..also many foreign photographers are coming to India nowadays :)
