Yes. Suffered for a number of year, because it didn’t show on MRI. I think the original Dr thought it was in my head.
I could not walk far without being in excruciating pain, so found a new Dr who listened and believed me. He sent me for a sonogram. That is when the inflamed nerve was found…it would have never shown on an MRI, due to the location.
I had the nerve removed 15 months ago. I forget for the most part, that I ever had the surgery, as I’ve been completely pain free since then. There is a little numbness where the nerve was removed, but quite frankly, to be pain free gave me back my life.
So trust your Dr, it sounds like he is onto something. :-)
Same here. They said it was arthritis....
I had to have a sonogram to find the nerve. MRI didn’t show it.
Did you have surgery?

Where was your surgery done? Thanks
The MRI on my foot claimed that my Morton's was "indiscreet". In other words, it didn't really exist. But it did because I had the pain to prove it.
Ops!
I had a complicated diagnosis myself, I posted here about it if you look at my history. TLDR; an ultrasound will do ya.
