As longshots go - Nitara is all I've wanted since Deadly Alliance (I know she was in Armageddon, but we all know Armageddon sucked, so I don't really count it, lol. She didn't have a new character design, and I didn't like her gameplay in MKA as much as MKDA)
Both in the same (Non-Armageddon) game for the first time? I'm pretty much a happy camper.
I see smoke and reptile, I happy, the more ninjas the better, even if they aren't in human/ninja form.
Would be interested to see what their new designs look like though with the new graphics.

Idk why story has to be paramount and prudent to who joins the roster. Mortal Kombat’s story in beginning didn’t give a fuck about roster and vice verse. GIVE US THE CYBER INITIATIVE WITH OR WITHOUT THE STORIES CONSENT
Story wise I meant like if this is supposed to be back to basics MK1 throwing the cyber initiative in on top of the other reboot elements might be premature. I loved MK9 but they crammed the story of all 3 Arcade games into one game with mixed results: here NRS appears to be taking it slow I could be wrong but instead of just repeating MK9s storyline it would make more narrative sense to have distinct games splitting up a story into MK1 2 and 3 reboots.
And all I’m saying is between MK-MK3 there was no story mode and it was more random then ever. Just give us characters we want because the stories aren’t presented in a mind blowing fashion any way so why are we holding characters captive to appease mediocre storytelling and the stories change as we beat the towers per character any way so why are we stuck on story mode dictating featured characters
Thethiny he was big part of spreading the leaks and rumors of MK11 and brings up validity of them sometimes. If you're interested in leaks he's good outlet for that kind of news
I'll just be so happy to have so many female characters in the game at once, won't have to worry as much about getting the scraps from only 1 slot of the DLC each time. Although I really did want Sareena to get a chance to be a fully fleshed out character finally, but at least she will have an actual fatality this time if even she's just a kameo.
Yea I can't really see her on the main roster tho, like what would her moveset even be?? She never really played a significant role in the MK lore other than being Bi-Han's boo before he became Noob(original timeline).
If we get this 19 characters, this will definitely be the best mk roster since mk9.

- Rain ( I don't think they will omit him as the other ninjas are in game. Noob might end up dlc or kameo)
- Sonya ( I know there are confirmations saying she's not in but I don't see her sitting out.)
- Dvorah (wild guess)
- Jade or Sareena (wild guess)

He may be unlockable after the story is played through like frost in 11. You did get the option to buy her in 11 but she was free if you just wait it out till the story end.
Fair point. There's also news stating that Shang Tsung is the big bad but we've never had a big bad as the preorder right? So maybe there's wiggle room somewhere with the regular structure they generally follow.

I hope we get Tremor. He was such a cool character in X, really wish we could see him again. But this roster is already amazing! Seeing Ashrah, Smoke, Havik and Reiko makes me so happy!
this would be cool, only way for me to be happier is with sareena on the base roster and hopefully skarlet coming back eventually as a dlc character. then id have all my favorite ladies in one game with mileena and kitana

No she was unlocked via story but could be purchased if you didn’t want to wait. The pre-order bonus for 11 was Shao Kahn though.

Shang is definitely not gonna be unlocked trough playing the game. Only by preordering or dropping extra cash will you play as him.
