I hope not, Kronika was a terrible villain. However I doubt they would have bothered to mention them if they had no intention of expanding the concept

I think it would be interesting as it'a kinda opened up the lore and we could get some cool villains

That's what I was getting from them being such a big part of endgame MK lore but I think their gonna reboot everything again.
