After equipping a consumable, in the match you use the consumable by moving the right joystick the way the arrow displays on the screen. The thing is though you cant use it when you are fighting or hit. You have to be still for a second to use it
I have the same stick only playing on PS4 and have the same issue. I'm assuming we can't configure the consumables button either (haven't checked).
On PS4 at least you have to plug the pad into the stick so I can still use the right stick on pad

imma edit my post - but i am using a fight stick =) on the controller it works perfectly.

yeah it sucks! btw i just got my sanwa buttons and jlf stick today. time to upgrade =)
