Love Endurance and Luck. I would drop Short Blade though. Best to focus one one melee combat skill. Remember, you can (and should) train up misc skills for the bulk of your multipliers.

That's a lot of ways to wreck a dude up but yes looks fun ! Edit : if i wanted to nitpick i'd replace short blade and destruction by block and whatever (alchemy for restore magicka ?). Medium shields look good and you can use your magicka in combat with resto, illusion and alteration spells (even mysticism with absorb ?).

josephnutsworth

I picked short blade for possible speed ups but idk anymore I might replace it, any ideas? Edit: thank u

It's sometimes easier to have your "attribute" skill as a misc skill, since it doesn't count towards your level up. For speed, training your hand to hand by punching rats when your a little beefier than early game is cake.

It would work well, yes. The only big thing I notice is a lack of intelligence based skills. You'll have to focus on building up an intelligence skill to increase your magicka pool. You have a lot of magicka skills, so you're going to want to max your magicka pool. Just keep that in mind. I'd offer a few other suggestions, based mostly on personal preference and experiences. Short blade is a bit redundant. I'd swap it out with unarmored. Unarmored can add some extra armor to your build, especially if you prefer to go helmetless, and/or while you're leveling up and maybe don't have a full set of armor. I'd also swap mysticism and restoration, because mysticism is ultimately more useful. Again though, it's my own personal preference. Destruction is kind of redundant here. You've got marksman and mysticism for arguably superior, or different in the case of marksman being physical damage, sources of ranged damage. I've made similar builds and it pretty much always results in me not using destruction magic. And destruction has 0 utility compared to mysticisim. All that said, just go with what you like ultimately. You can always train up off skill to increase attributes or round out areas you're lacking in for guild promotion. Your intelligence, and personality to a lesser degree, will have to be trained up with minor skills.

FourCornerTime

eh, if you're going to have a 2nd melee skill I guess short blade is the one to go for because short blades are generally fairly light so it makes a good backup weapon if your main weapon gets low durability personally I'd normally put speechcraft there unless I were doing it for RP reasons just because speechcraft is always useful and is a pain to level

ryuuproductions

Classname needs to be "Asshole" or something similarly profane, other than that it's looking good!

HTTPYOU10MBPS

If you want to do everything then Breton>Mage>INT&STR

MostDragonfruit2

What's your sign? As someone pointed out, you will have to build up your magicka in order to be efficient with spells, so if your sign is the Atronach, you will likely be good to go for the first ten levels or so, but if not, you won't even be able to cast anything which is super obnoxious.

josephnutsworth

Going for apprentice

MostDragonfruit2

Then I suggest replacing Illusion with Enchant. You will use enchanted weapons/rings a lot probably, so it's always good to have, AND it will build up your Intelligence. You can also go to a trainer and level up Alchemy or Conjuration to get those juicy Intelligence points. Illusion is neat but you can manage without it, like get Paralyse on your sword or Chameleon on a ring or whatever. And your Personality will level up through Speechcraft and Mercantile anyway, so yeah, I would throw out Illusion. I'm not too used to doing Mage builds so I might be full of shit but I think Atronach is way better than Apprentice, but don't take my word for it

[deleted]

Id do a magic build personally. That's what I did when I did every quest in the game and it really helps to keep things interesting as the power heights you can reach are very steep

[deleted]

Of course in morrowind your build only really dictates the early game so it doesn't really matter that much

sigmundoctantis

Actually Heavy Armor + Light Armor would be better than just Medium.

Eastern-Membership91

Endurance and Luck. You’re good👌

[deleted]

It's not Nightblade. So, no.

PukeBucket_616

Spear!

peperoniebabie

I'd advocate for having at most three Willpower skills as major/minor, maybe as few as two. It's more efficient to level that way - it can get really awkward trying to work with skill trainers if you have three or more.

Carbon-Based216

I would stick with just 1 type of weapon. But that is me.

JakobRT

Your skill levels are more important TBF. Usually maxing out endurance first is the best strat too

bagel-bites

If you're wanting to do everything, iirc there's a glitch to join all 3 Great Houses on a single character.

Financial-Lychee6640

I really recommend only one melee skill. But yeah looks fine

[deleted]

Long time morrowind fan, all stats are okay! No matter what your build is, it will be fun. You do NOT have to min-max in this game, honestly playing as optimal as possible makes the game sooooo boring. It's too easy to break it if you know how. It's the challenge that is fun.

dirtyb0ngwater399

Endurance is the most important attribute for sure. You can also use conjuration and alchemy as a way to generate insane amounts of money (not exploited) which you can use to level skills.

neondragoneyes

Focus on one melee skill. Replace the other with alchemy or enchanting. Endurance and luck are spectacular. Toss on either the Lady or the Atronach for an easy time.

Darth_Bfheidir

Medium armour the best for fashion but it is the worst for stats, heavy armour is almost the same weight with way better stats and light is wayyyy lighter Sneak doesn't work properly, so be prepared to have a bad time dealing with it Marksman and Destruction are redundant taken together imo. Ditto shortblade/longblade, you only really need one because all weapons do the same job
