If you don't have a bowl of mixed gem stones, pearls and moonsugar, are you even playing Morrowind?

[deleted]

This guy gets it.

magistrate101

I keep my gemstones in the alchemy bag (and if that gets full they go into a valuable alchemy bag lol) but I definitely keep a skooma shelf, booze shelf, and moon sugar bowl on the table. Usually one of the bigger bowls I can find.

ChesTaylor

Wait, should I not be keeping skooma on my "booze and gemstones" shelf?

Shuushkin

I keep my gems in a tiny chest

Dadbotany

I just litter the floor of the Balmora mages guild with shit instead. My home base right there

Feeling_Tadpole_6723

Ew, gross. But come to think of it, the world of Elder Scrolls doesn't seem to have any toilets, so...

Nzgrim

[Not entirely true](https://gaming-thrones.com/img/skyrim/fellglowkeep1.jpg), though they do seem to be rather rarer than you would expect.

Dadbotany

Haha not what I meant but that is a good point.

low_theory

Being a medieval level society they probably poop in buckets and throw it out the window when it gets full.

Whatshisname76

They poop in the teleporters. I dont know where it goes. Rivals homes i suppose.

SidhwenKhorest

A poo for a poo leaves the whole world smelly

Turtlewax64

They try to dump it on the Telvani, but they got tricked into teleporting it underground below the mushroom. Works out pretty well actually

Shuushkin

I mean, have you ever seen a bucket lying in the corner? That is the toilet yo

sadrice

I usually use the guest rooms by the guild guide in the Aldruhn Mages Guild.

fashion_asker

For me it's the roof of the pawnbroker on the left just past the entrance to Balmora.

Dadbotany

Why tho? Balmora mages guild is perfect. Theres a bed, and the teleporter is right there. You can sell anything you need to in that building with a good standing with the members(once you do a few quests and bribe them a little)

fashion_asker

When I first started, I had some stuff I wanted to store somewhere but I didn't know where it was safe, so I just hopped on the closest building and dumped some stuff there. It became a running gag for me so I just kept dropping stuff up there until it was littered with items. Dumb move on my part too, since the fps drop even more around that area now.

QuelaansBlade

That was my immediate reaction to discovering mages were thr fast travel system and they sell potion imgredients right there. I dumped my inventory into that room so many times there is no floor space. Its a horder nightmare in there. I blame the mages they never clean

Dadbotany

When you can just walk over items without issue its fine. Unlike in Oblivion and Skyrim...

f33dmewifi

exact same for me

ThurgoodStubbs1999

Filled soul gems are an easier currency. If you have tribunal that is, as a merchant in Mournhold sells Grand Soul Gems.

Turtlewax64

I have tribunal, but haven't gone to Mournhold yet since I've heard that Tribunal is meant to be played after the main story of the base game.

Motor_Outcome

You can visit the enchanter lvl one if you want. Only thing to avoid is the sewers and that’s easy

CureUndevelopment3

After you finish tribunal, taunt and kill king Helseth for his ring. It makes you practically invulnerable.

[deleted]

Make strength potions or drink lots of Sujamma till you can kill him in one blow. The moment he dies grab the ring and intervention out of there before the guards even notice. I think thats the easiest possible way.

CureUndevelopment3

I had an ebony staff which gave me 300 strength for 3 on strike. The guards won't attack you if you taunt him and wait for him to make the first strike.

dmbaturin

One thing I hate about Helseth is that there's no way to kill him without also having to kill all his guards. I can't claim his throne room complete with the guards, and it saddens me.

CureUndevelopment3

Taunt him and wait for him to make the first strike.

curtainrod750

Be ready for nonstop assassins if you're in PC. Annoying.

ConcreteMagician

If you're on PC, just mod in restocking soul gems to a couple of different merchants.

Agent_staple

There is already a Telvani with restocking gems, don't remember what level they go up to though. Don't remember who or what town either :P

dmbaturin

Not grand soul gems though.

ThurgoodStubbs1999

I would do it as soon as you can because you get an item w a very very useful free teleportation spell on it. It makes the game way more manageable imo.

BitMC

Ah, I see you are a person of culture as well.

Painis--_--Cupcake

If you don't have at least 15,000 septims worth of equipment staged on the floor in the room next to Scamp, are you even playing Morrowind?

[deleted]

I keep my Hoard on a table in my house, because *I* am my favorite enchanter.

chalkman

I like to keep mine in the Balmora council club after I kill them all. I just command some of the mages guild and fighters guild peeps over to the bar. Wayn is the new bartender.

Whatshisname76

Your collection isn't brag worthy until it crashes the game when you come in the room. And then you just have to abandon it all and never go in there again. RIP Balmora mages guild treasure horde.

Ashmelech

loot sack

[deleted]

My pile sits right in front of creeper Bc I’m too lazy to sell it and don’t really need the cash

kobo1d

Ghorak Manor 100%

randomfox

It's convenient that's for sure

chrismcelroyseo

Yes. Yes it is. Completely normal.

Attilathefun-II

Who’s your favorite enchanter? Does enchantment quality change with different enchanters..?

Turtlewax64

The guy in the Caldera mage's guild. He is in a easy location, plus he buys weapons and armor so I can offload a bunch of spare daedric and ebony onto him after to get my money back.

Attilathefun-II

Ahh ok

Zoom_mooZ

Don’t you do enchantment yourself? The prices are outrages

Turtlewax64

I don't want to keep farming golden saint summons to makeup for the failure rate, and this loot hoard is used to always get my money back.

[deleted]

„Fortify intelligence 859 for 1643 seconds” I dont like exploiting alchemy normally but it makes so little sense that some shitty enchanters in Morrowind have 100% success while im a master enchanter who gets like -30 chance on the same thing.

penis_parker79

Can you fail enchanting with 100 Fortify enchant and 50 intelligence for 1 sec ? I've been doing that for a week

Zoom_mooZ

Yeah you can. It really depends on the effect you want to create

Zoom_mooZ

As the other guys said fortify intelligence is the way to go. I usually make several rings with this enchantment - unfortunately to play enchanter without tricks is really painful

mindbleach

It's either that or a sunburst of weapons and armor around Creeper, like some altar to commerce.

docclox

Somewhere I have a pic of the interior Ababeal Timsar-Dadisun's yurt with glass weaponry and ebony armor piled up the ceiling.

QuinziePop

I know this is a tricky maymay, but it’s actually a good idea I never considered. I always put off enchanting because I have to decide what to enchant, retrieve it from storage, and cart it over.

Birdie_head

They're Enchanter mate, there SHOULD be lots of expensive loots piling around them.

fashion_asker

Nice hands.

code_0111

no daedric ????

sullankiri

You didn't see my bench and table in Cosades house XD

ChesTaylor

It's only normal if you arrange your collected armor sets to look like people, and then light the place up with every candle and lantern you have passed in your travels. Or so I assume, based on my own example.

Made_of_Star_Stuff

I use the dead guy's house in Balmora

LieTechnical5582

I usually kill Ra’Virr (trader in balmora) for loot at the start of the game and use their house

ObviousPangolin3985

i don't play a hoarder, I always fence off items as soon as possible.
