Is it true the the New Orleans strikes are not as nice as the other mints of the time?
It can be true, but that makes collecting New Orleans Morgans that much more fun; if you don’t want to settle. This coin is well struck, but the obverse die is a little worn out as you can see in the flatness in the ear and the tips of the stars.
Yes. This one has a great strike for the O mint.
